Blake & Brew in Cardiff

Really cute little spot just off Whitchurch Road! Coffee was fab and got some good advice on which beans to buy! Will be telling my friends !

I've had coffee in here some time ago, the coffee was great, but the place felt more like a beer pub rather than specialty coffee spot, which kinda ruins the atmosphere for me. Nevertheless the coffee itself is greatly recommended if you don't mind that!

I’m not a guy to leave reviews but Phil at Blake & brew has brought that out in me. Service? He greets you with a genuine Interest to see how you are and what you’ve been up too, he’ll also remember the last time you spoke and ask how whatever you spoke about before went Shame 6 stars isn’t an option Coffee? Phil knows more about coffee than I do about my celebrity crush Margot Robbie. The lad can do it all, he can do so much I don’t even know what he can do - you don’t know what you don’t know innit. Jokes aside, he’s the reason why you should go out and drop £3 on a coffee you could make at home for 30p Just go there, Phil’s the man and always happy to answer questions if you’re into your coffee process or are after any beans He also does a free coffee if you buy beans - what a man!

Phil is without qualification, the best barista I have ever met. He’s process is considered and precise. The outcome is for me, the quintessential justification, for choosing to pay someone else to make you a coffee. On top, the authentic welcome is warm and perfectly balanced: always uplifting and very often deeply engaging. Blake and Brew is an absolute gem

Gaining popularity in the locality word through word of mouth. Great coffee and the friendliest and best service ever. Independent coffee shop within another shop. Highly recommended. My go to place for cappuccino during my working week. The cakes are delicious too. Not open Mondays at the moment

I have been dropping in for coffee here for quite some time. They always serve up fresh quality coffee and the small selection of cakes and snacks are always tasty. They change the ‘coffee in the hopper’ regularly so you get the chance to sample many different brews. They also have a selection of retail coffee you can make yourself at home. For great tasting coffee I can’t recommend them highly enough.
