This is on behalf of my wife. My wife and four grandchildren visited in a cold rainy day and were treated awful . They were told they couldn’t sit inside even though there was room , my wife said we can’t sit outside it’s rainy heavily and cold and she was told go somewhere else and the rest of the staff laughed . The staff are rude and very childish please AVOID

Good service and reasonably priced, we got four ice creams and three cans of pop for under £20, it was clean and tidy and will go back again

Could have said 2 stars but this cafe can be quite pleasant and situated well on the edge of local park. Food and drink choice is ok but bit limited. Badly needs a spruce up as it’s looking tired especially outside. Needs someone to stand and look round and think “would I like to sit here paying full price or would I go elsewhere with my family and money. Having younger staff is fine but train them properly and follow a process and system. You have table numbers on spoons ( faded of course) but staff don’t use these numbers when delivering food so often if there are a few people it becomes “food bingo”with staff looking blankly as if they’ve just woken up. Remember this may not be your life’s ambition for employment BUT you will learn many skills such as customer service, attention to detail, listening, communication you will use elsewhere. So come on this place is good for the village but a bit of a spruce up both in decor and service is needed at practically zero cost too.

Sadly this place has gone down the nick. Went earlier this week. Only doing toasties and paninis. My daughter asked for a good portion of roast beef on my panini, as on our previous visit I got very little. I still got very little. My daughter always has Cajun chicken. Normally there is a lot of chicken on the panini. This time she got hardly any People were asking for ice cream, diet coke, chips, sausage, bacon. They didn't have any of these things. People were looking at the menu, which was totally pointless, they couldn't actually have their choice, as hardly anything was being served. Glasses were pretty grotty. So disappointed. We probably won't visit again.

Disappointed! Run by kids that can't make a latte right, tables dirty, and icecream was melted. we have been coming here for years but sadly won't be anymore.

Delivering food & drinks to our dirty table that still had the last people’s cups and plates is pretty naff. Even worse the young lad still didn’t take them away after bringing our food. Just run by a bunch of kids. Gone downhill over the years.

Would not recommend, poor service and poor hygiene. Ordered a hot chocolate and latte, had to send the latte back twice as it was bitter and didn’t taste right. After waiting 40 minutes for our 2 toasties one which was tuna and other cheese for my dad who is vegetarian, it arrived With tuna on the edges which was clearing cross contaminated from my own toasties as i assume they was cooked together. As we mentioned this to the waitress’s she didn’t offer much help so we ended up juts scraping it off our self. Disgusted at the customer service. Never mentioned once about the wait on the food as we had nipped out of work for some lunch, and never expected it would take 40 minutes of 2 toasties. Won’t be returning.

Without sound to harsh this place was terrible. Called for a sandwich x 3 with drinks (tea and Diet Coke) sat outside with the dog. Service was horrendous, orders around us where being completely messed up and set the scene for what was to come, daughters panini turned up and our reminiscing, no sandwiches and chips x 2. After being told at they where coming 15 minutes later they turned up after chasing them but on white and not brown and then no chips. Felt sorry for the young girl who took the blunt of our frustration but when asked if the boss or someone in charge was available I was told they weren’t in today. If I hadn’t have paid I have walked. We won’t be visiting this establishment again. 👎

Went for afternoon out; staff were rude and hostile. Had we not paid we would have left. The world needs less pretentious people in it !

Ordered four meals. Two came relatively quickly. Another one finally arrived after these two diners had finished. Despite asking four times we waited a further 30 minutes for a sandwich for 4 year old who was starving! Not the first time we’ve had problems here. Last time they missed our order completely.

Not a great experience. Ordered small breakfast arrived an hour later forgot the toast. Charged for toast we didn't have. Freezing inside both front and back doors open. Not impressed one bit. Will not be returning.

First time here and was so impressed the large breakfast was huge and excellent quality lovely surroundings and brilliant service will defiantly be back

Great brunch with the family. Food made fresh and the service was fantastic. Not to mention the great coffee ☕️
