I had a fish burger meal for nearly £9 and it ended up in the bin it was absolutely disgusting...overcooked and tasteless

All good. But please do something about your app. Freezes all the time !!

Its Ridiculers, I pass over 2 days ago got 1 box of the spice crisp wings which I thought they were good because I don’t buy street food because of that I recommend to a friend we went through today and order 3 of them just to out surprise when we got home wasn’t what I expected but Rubbish like Dog food good things are about quality not quantity you better close

Drive thru, halal food and veggie options. Lots of options to choose from good friendly staff and very quick service.

Fish and chicken where ok . Chips were not good

Over the last 3 visits here, every time they seem to miss something or mix orders up. You can't even call them after because their line is always busy. Simple things like chips with a burger meal get missed. This place fell off.

We visit here quite often. It’s a drive thru or eat in. Wheelchair accessible and easy access to the building. I believe seating is fixed though so you would be in the aisle if unable to transfer to a regular seat from a wheelchair. EDIT REVISIT Kebabs were extremely dry. No taste or flavour anymore. Portion sizes have reduced. Not going to be a frequent visitor anymore. This place says it’s the first uk drive through chippy. I’ve never seen one before so maybe it is. The food is always cooked from fresh especially the burgers. Average waiting time for a drive thru order is between 10-20 minutes. Friendly staff and tasty food although the chips aren’t always the best. ANOTHER EDIT gave this place another try and I must admit the food has definitely improved.

normally it's good here. not tonight. ordered at 455pm delivered at 645pm. food was cold and hard and was just awful. chips had dried up and hardened. kebab was same.

Hello, i made a delivery for the early hours of this morning. I payed by card and i missed it, why wasnt it left outside? It was payed for so its mine it should of been left...im not happy. I want a refund or the food re delivered

Food is obviously not what it used to be but the now rating is for the restaurant it self. Sitting here on 3rd dec 2024 at 8.40pm. This place was a as good as eating out in the cold. I asked the staff to put the heating up he said the heating wasn’t working. Which is quite sad. Because in a cold evening you’d like to enjoy warm food in a warm setting. But the cold is as such my nose is red and the food is loosing its quality quicker which is already questionable. Any way management needs to sort out the heating. And the pricing for that matter. Big Jhon’s was my go to place before. Now they can’t even put chilli sauce on your chips. They make you buy a pot. Which ok. But sometimes you want it over your chips. Any way fix up quick or you won’t last another 5 years.

They are literally the last place i ever go for food. Rude service order wrong. Same as macdonalds. Foods always wrong and when you ring to complain they cut the call off....

The person serving me was spot on, however I’m giving this a 1* review as they no longer put any sauce on the chips and ask you to buy a tub separate for 60p. I feel like this is a hustle as anywhere else would provide sauce on top.

Great value for money and chicken is lovely. My only complaint is that the mushy peas aren't mushy, they are still solid, very runny and cold. I'll certainly buy the chicken and chips again, but maybe have curry sauce next time.

Supposes to be fast food waited more than 20 minutes for 2 burgers and sm fries, they ask you to wait in the bays and u left there to sleep... Avoid!

AVIOD 🤮 was eating hot fiery loaded from big John found hair in my chips !!! Absolutely disgusting 🤢 hygiene is very poor . Staff should be wearing hairnets and beard nets !

I ordered masala fish with chips and salad, along with a lamb kebab wrap, and I was blown away. The masala fish was sublime—every piece was beautifully seasoned and absolutely delicious. Whoever made my food today deserves a promotion because it was truly exceptional and I’ll definitely be ordering it again!

First time i have used this app was very impressed great service friendly delivery driver.

The food was excellent. I had the meal deal as wasn't sure of how the food would taste. The meal deal was five pounds which includes a drink, the meal was plentiful/filling. Three of us ordered food, the total sum was less than 14 pounds. Big John's is an food establishment I've not used very often but, I will definitely be going back. Service and atmosphere was good/friendly.

Just spent £25 on 3 meal deals, went through the drive through, waiting 15 minutes for food ,not a problem thinking it's going to be fresh, all chips were cold meat in the chicken kebab was hard and over cooked, burgers were ok ,first time I have eaten from you,but want be going back

Big John’s got to serve the best food in the pizza industry, fair prices with benefits of a free delivery service. Love their fresh chips although large portion stayed , it was not nearly enough for a family of 4, however the free pop corn chicken ; got to say was tasty again well cooked and the best feature for gratitude. Well done !

Tatty looking place. Tables sticky with paint coming off and seating ripped. Staff who either dont listen or do not understand. We had chips which were hard and dry. Gave us 2 cans of pop when I asked for milkshakes and wanted to charge on top for them without taking cans off. On the whole first and last visit. Very disappointed

Food was not the nicest, ordered chicken and rice and the flavour was horrible it was sharp and tangy I had 1 spoon, the chicken in pitta was dry there was no sauce in it and the pizza crust was hard it was bland and so was the garlic bread wouldn’t order again

I wanted deep and but got thin crust and there was barely any base sauce other than that big john usually 10/10 but its a busy night 🤷🏽‍♀️

Not having visited for a while, this visit consisted of 3 adults and a 3yo child. No queueing for ordering as there were staff free and food was quickly made. Sufficient sauces (as taken at time of order), decent portions resulted in 4 happy persons leaving around a half hour or so later. It did get busy in the time we were there but orders were quickly taken and made per customer requirement.

Was over 1 hour wait anyway which you told me about but almost 2 hours later you delivered my food . It came cold and when you wait for so long and food arrives cold then that would annoy anyone. Order from you always and 2nd time this has happened to me

Perfect food beautiful taste of Peri chicken outstanding delicious flavour. chicken kebab had a special taste from my opinion with a kick of salt which made my evening and fantastic pitta bread if it’s homemade brilliant taste too that. Food got delivered to me 2 times first driver had a big johns uniform second one had a big johns car which you lot are probably aware now and I had to tell the driver the information by showing him my original bag with the recipt and so on. 👍

We had fish and chips sadly the packaging smelt like dustbin. Tried to ignore it food looked lovely but sadly chips were plasticly and hard 😔 fish was tasteless. Also fish had cold spots through it.

I've always ordered from Big John's, neve| had any issue with either their service or their food. There are a few family favourites that I can mention, but the list wil be long. All I can say is that, thanks for the extremely fast service and with a smile from the guys who deliver the food. Never had I had an issues with anything spilling our, food or drink. Will continue to be their customer for the foreseeable future. Keep up the good work guys! 👍

0 stars, service is diabolical, charged for food and never received it, called them and they just passed the blame and didn't resolve issue, hung phone up on me

We were served by Adam. I bought 3 loaded fries. Really nice service by Adam.My kids enjoyed the meal.I would 100% recommend.

Surprised by the place! Been past a few times inside needs slightly updating otherwise staff brilliant friendly and quick FOOD was tasty chips no grease the burger was cooked perfectly the wife's veg burger also cooked perfectly again no grease! Very very surprised with the whole place will go again! Been here again and still the same comments

I work relatively close to this particular bog John's and I have consistently recieved exceptionally service and issues that may have occurred have always been settled by the very competent supervisor Atif i would certainly recommend this branch for quality.

Wouldn't give sauce with food asked for extra 50p which is a bit stupid, food is OK for the price

My partner loved the chicken wings he had. Chips are pretty standard chippy chips nothing special but not terrible. Milkshake was lovely, lots of flavour and not runny like a lot of places. Kebab wasn't great unfortunately, good portion size but lacked flavour. Tried a little of my daughter's pizza and that was really nice. Will definitely order again and try some more of the menu.

Used drive through today, chicken and chips, the chicken was bloody as it may not have been washed, and also undercooked. Complained and got replacement chicken only to be same issue. Quality has definitely dropped here. No more stops here

Sadly this place was not clean enough tables where so dirty we had too swap it with another toilets where very bad no soap too wash hands portions of foods where small for the price you pay too.. shame as staff where nice polite helpful just not the cleanest of places at all..

Was disappointed at the length of time waiting for the food. Was told it will be around 8-9mins, but turned out to be 15mins or so.. no apology, instead others were being served before me!

Food was good only issue was order a deep pan and a thin crust arrived

We ordered pizza and Garlic Bread- both were so delicious. Seating was good, when we went it was a quiet time, so we loved it. Staff was lively too.

Absolutely disgusting, rundown place and disappointed, I spent £42.39 for a 16" veg pizza, mix doner in naan, chips, 1 coke, and 3 milkshakes, didn't get no sauces with pizza and had to pay 50p each extra, and it was over cooked and base was hard, the mix donner in naan was like a kids bite meal again naan was hard, the milkshakes were expensive and tasteless (you can get iced frappe from McDonald's cheaper and better and refreshing), the chips were bland and hard, toilets were absolutely disgusting dirty and unusable, and restaurant seat was ripped and front counter had tiles broken. Save your money and go somewhere else more valuable for money and much more pleasant.

The food was absolutely freezing , barely any meat in the kebab, but the worst thing was the margarita pizza it was absolutely burnt, it was like I was eating cardboard absolutely awful will never order from big johns again cheap ingredients nasty food and overpriced

fish and chips were ok but not worth 10.99, I also ordered chilli cheese bites and received chicken bites instead.
