Bianco Ristorante in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Visited this place last week and we had booked a table for lunch. We were greeted and seated promptly and service throughout was pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent with a starter of sizzling garlic king prawns followed by a chefs special of chicken cordon bleu which was a huge portion served with fantastic roasted chips and salad. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

What a super restaurant! We had lunch there and were delighted with the quality of the food, the generous portions, the efficient friendly staff and the cleanliness of the establishment. We ordered garlic mushrooms, chicken in peppercorn sauce, chips and salad of lettuce, tomatoes, unions and grated carrots. We also had salmon and broccoli tagliatelle and bread. Delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

What a better way to get over the holiday blues than visiting our favourite Italian?! As always amazing service. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, helpful and have an awesome sense of humour. The whole restaurant was clean, the food cooked freshly which we could see with the partial open kitchen. Food was amazing, portions more than generous! We went during the early bird deal which meant we paid less for so much food I have enough for tomorrow's lunch and tea. Thank you everyone for a lovely evening with some amazing food 🇮🇹

Such a little Gem this place. The chicken and mayo panini melts were 10/10, every bit of food on the plate tasted extremely fresh and the bread was just to die for. Topped off with the best coffee! If I’m ever back in the area I’d be back in a heartbeat.

Busy place with a lovely atmosphere. Just in for a quick lunchtime bite. Seated really quickly, we ordered panini's which came with a fresh side salad, really nice fresh potato chips and what tasted like a homemade coleslaw. Lovely food, lovely coffee and a lovely place.

We dropped in for an early lunch. Lush interior, high quality service with friendly, smartly dressed waiters. Food was delicious and great value for money. I highly recommend the black scallop ravioli, and my partner was very happy with his New York Burger

Reserved table for nine as a birthday treat all going well until one meal didn’t arrive with the rest when queried the waitress went downstairs to check and returned with the missing meal. Sadly the pizza was burnt and not only crispy but tasted burnt. The waitress was informed and she could see from the amount left that it was inedible. She apologised but did not offer any compensation. Not really what we would class as good customer service!

We visited Northallerton today for the first time and popped into Bianco for lunch. We ordered a cheese & onion toastie and a ham & tomato panini, the toastie that came was cheese & tomato with a few bits of onion, we didn’t send it back as we were getting close to running out of parking time and couldn’t really wait, I’m not quite sure how the wrong toastie was brought as there was only one other couple eating at the same time. I also asked for an Americano coffee with either skimmed or semi skimmed milk and was informed that they only had full cream milk, which was a shame so I ended up with a glass of tap water. We both felt it was all just average and to not have semi or skimmed milk in 2024 is poor.

Booked in advance for an early Friday evening dinner for 3 people before going to The Forum. After reading positive reviews on Trip Advisor I was looking forward to the meal. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with the whole experience. The food was ok, average Italian dishes. I chose one of the evening specials which was a slow cooked beef ravioli priced at £16.95, sounded delicious, not ‘special’ by any means, in fact rather average, not worth £16.95. The service was again ok, not really very engaging. Surroundings - dare I say it - average. Not one for a repeat visit I’m afraid.

Came as a group of 7 hoping to get in, walked in and it was super busy however they had a table ready for us in 5 mins. Waiters were super friendly, a super extensive menu, portion sizes were amazing, gluten free options for pasta and lighter bites too if that’s what you fancy. I’ve been telling everyone about this place as I so impressed! Also interior is really well decorated too.

We had a wonderful family celebration lunch, the food and service were both superb. Highly recommended for value for money. Thanks Bianco’s for making our little celebration special.

A great spot, well situated on the High Street. Friendly staff who are professional. Extensive menu - the risotto a favourite and the NZ Savignon blanc recommended. A good place to relax.

Good selection of food and drinks available. Ordered the calamari to begin with then followed by king prawn linguine for mains, both of which were very tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you value Italian food. Also visited its sister restaurant in Thirsk and had a great experience there too.

Absolute discussed after been recommend from friend local with living out the area. Service was really rude even the table opposite of us. Then to be confronted about my daughter who has learning disability and artistic because she had a spit of my cocktail with out me seen And was told I had to pay for her coke that never got touched. Said I was happy to pay for the one starter and two cocktails but we're leaving because of how rude the staff was. Then at the end of it all. when said my daughter is disabled they said it was fine. Eh no it to fine would never go there again abslou shocking behaviours from staff and manager. Shame course food looked really good shame about the staff customer service skill is a need must. Shame on you all.

We were looking for a restaurant before putting family members on the train south and Bianco was perfect - before 6 meant it was happy hour and so we got starters in addition to mains for only £1 or £2 more. The service was quick and friendly, the portions were substantial and the food was delicious. My mussels as a starter would have graced any main course - as tasty as I’ve eaten anywhere. The salmon with pasta parcels was also a highlight

The most amazing mussels and a calamari fritti starter - the best mussels I have ever had , beautiful sauce and sour dough on the side followed by a delicious crisp decent thickness parmo for hubby and my meal pollo pescatorra (chicken prawns and peppers in an exquisite sauce ) served with very chunky chips and side salad - can’t wait to go back !!!

Ordered 2 courses off the happy hour menu to share which was lovely. The bill came and was incorrect, which we challenged ,we were told we had to pay full price because we shared, so it was not on offer! This was not highlighted or made transparent when we ordered which is disappointing and the staff were quite blunt!! We have shared 2 course meals during happy hour on numerous occasions without any issues as we are not big eaters. Would not of ordered 2 courses if this had been highlighted!!

We came for Sunday lunch have been before always exceptional food and service. Our first time for Sunday dinner and it didn't disappoint. Portion size was incredible and the food was delicious. Fantastic value for money The service we received was the best and the staff were attentive and very friendly. I can highly recommend this restaurant, we will be going back as the menu offers so much choice and the food and wine is absolutely delicious . Thankyou Bianco you never disappoint

We really enjoyed our time at this excellent restaurant, there are plenty of options on the menu. The pizza and pasta is delicious. One of the best I have ever had. The service is amazing fast and friendly. We will definitely be back soon.
