We friends visited to your restaurant on last night and Friday evening and had wonderful time. Here are some highlights. Food. We enjoyed the all items, which was cooked to perfection. I did had this test before in UK in last three years. Service. Our servers and owner friendly and attentive and fast service and excellent service. The cozy atmosphere, it’s made relaxing evening. Bharuchi no asal Ghar jevo swad. chicken lollipop, chhola jinga methi tuver, Rasawali machhi and juwar rotlo. We traveled al the way from Preston. This is our regular place for dine as they make us feel like home. Bharuchis environment always welcoming and friendly

Good food I ever had in Leicester. Really enjoyed the taste and the ambience was good. I ordered crab, fish curry, tandoori prawns and pompret fry. I loved the crab also the service was too good and the owner was so friendly definitely will go back again😍😋

Lovely simple evening meal, Tandoori prawns and lamb curry, rice, bajri rotlo - plus Javed (owner) was a great conversationalist, taking time to explain his approach to cooking good food, especially fish.

It took time to get food as they were busy but well worth the wait. The pomfret fish was banging and the goat curry exceptional. Will recommend and go again.

Amazing food and wonderful service. The seafood is lovely, especially the pomfret fry which I think is a customer favourite. Definitely want to try the black mud crab next time though.

Such friendly and accommodating owners! The food was excellent, it may be my new favourite place in Leicester! Had the Bharuchi mixed grill which was piping hot and very tasty and the bheja fry with rotli!

The food is good,but the most important the Humbleness and Nature of Owner is Awesome,he will always suggest good items from the menu according to preference,we ordered Keema Kaleji their new dish with Desi Chicken curry both were best 👌 👍

We ordered Shezwan chips, Jeera wings, pomfret fish, chicken karahi, vaghreli kichdi and garlic naan. Pomfret fish was best, nice taste and spiced well. Shezwan chips and Jeera wings, very spicy though tasty. Chicken Karahi was good, however i was disappointed with vaghreli kichdi which was more like Jeera rice, not kichdi at all. The naan was very soggy and tasted oily. Apart from that a very good experience. Service was top notch by the gentleman. He was very friendly and welcoming. The complementary ambli lollipop was wow. Would go back to try out more of the fish dishes as they seemed really appealing.

Got bored eating the same taste of currys in uk in every restaurant, thank god i found bharuchis in leicester. As a student in uk alone, without family I’m having ghar jesa khana especially Drums of Heaven(saucy chicken lolipops), tariwala chicken and ringan no oro. Not gonna go to other restaurants from now on javed bhai🙌🏻

Went to Bharuchis on a whim after looking for traditional indian cusine. Came across this small joint and it did not disappoint. We had the tandoori wings which were super tasty and had the king prawn curry and the naan. It was really authentic and tasty. Homemade style. The owner and his wife are really hospitable and gave us some ambli lollys from India. Really welcoming and friendly. Definitely a must try for anyone who is looking for a trip to Gujrat :)

You will definitely try fish items.

The food was absolutely incredible—pure, homemade, and everything was so fresh! My parents loved the place, and my father was in a “food coma” afterward. Even a day later, he’s still raving about how amazing the food was. The customer service was just as wonderful—warm, attentive, and truly lovely!

I have a guest on Saturday and I took them to this place, they really enjoyed it and I also enjoyed it. Very nice food, we ordered dara fish curry, pomfret fried fish, king prawn curry and shezvan chips. The chapati was awesome and the onion salad was very yummy.

Loved it. It is a little gem which must be appreciated. Authentic food, home made taste, warm atmosphere, great host, we truly enjoyed the food that was amazing and were well looked after by Jawed brother. Definitely, worth a visit again. Their ginger tea was excellent.

Very good, I feel like going again and again, Bharuchi's chola jinga, green garlic, green onion, tuwer vegetable and millet roto is very good, reminds me of home in India. Bharuchi battered khichdi, curry & rotla also worth eating, An experience that reminds every Gujarati of home. Just like Home 🏠

Absolutely delicious food. Small.place but Kadhi khichdi with fish was amazing 👏 The show stopper was the prawns dried shrimp with fresh pigeon peas (tur dana)

Nice food and affordable price and good service

Food was pretty average. Cleanliness wasn’t up to par. Soap was mixed with water. I understand that this may be a family run restaurant and the number of staff is limited but there should always be a front of house to tend to your diners. Response to Owner: Your first point is understandable but that doesn't mean staff should be vacant from the front of house for longer than a few minutes. I appreciate you accommodating to our request but your accommodation does not elevate the taste of the food, therefore, it was average. You are definitely not on top of the highest standards of cleanliness, as you put it. There was a dead fly in one of the glass jars, unfortunately I did not take a picture of it as evidence. The table wasn't cleaned properly. The lady that attempted the clean used kitchen towels and a spray of some sort to clean not just our table, but the table next to us. I use the word clean very loosely as she only focused on certain spots and not the whole table. Also, when the dishes came out, they were wet and we had to wipe them ourselves. The utensils weren't clean either and we had to ask for new ones. Lastly, if you're going to boast about your high standards of service, which on the day there was none of, please follow through with it. Response to Owner 11/11: Appreciate your response, although you should have left your initial response for clarity for your future diners. First point, cleanliness. I appreciate that things that upholding your claimed high standards of cleanliness isn’t easy during busy times but that doesn’t change the fact that it wasn’t clean as it should be. You’ve failed to address the fact about the poor attempt of cleaning and the wet dishes provided to us and also the lack of clean utensils, which to your credit were replaced when raised. I apologise about the fly comment, I am not an expert on flies so I’ll rephrase, insect with wings. And I am also not a jar expert so let’s call it glass ornament. Both of which were present on the table. Insinuating that these are fake allegations is very unprofessional and poor choice of words. If it makes it easier, these glass ornaments weren’t given to us, they were already present on the table. In regards to the insect with wings, if we’re thinking of the same insect with wings and they’re only found between April to August, then that would mean that those glass ornaments haven’t been cleaned since August which is rather alarming and using your logic in regards to flies, displays below par cleaning standards. Out of 40-45 reviews I have given, only about 7 or 8 have been 1 or 2 stars. So for you to judge me based on giving locations honest feedback is of poor taste because let’s not forget the 30+ places I’ve given 5 stars to. Finally, no one said your food is bad. For me it’s average, which is my opinion, which I am entitled to. You can disagree with it if you like. You did cater to our needs which I thanked you for, so service in that regard was good. However the fact is, the cleanliness was below par.

We have had the pleasure of dining here twice now... It is a small and cozy place, with a very friendly atmosphere- the staff are very friendly, welcoming and hospitable, the old 90's bollywood music is a plus too!! The food itself is perfect- authentic, delicious and flavourful. I would especially recommend the chicken lollipop for starters for sweet and spicy, crunchy chicken drumsticks. And definitely try the chai after.

We ordered bajra Roti with Gudh , Ghee, and achaar tray. Lamb curry, pomfret fry , chicken dana, butter chicken, and masala chaas..food was delicious..a typical Indian taste.. We loved it.. we went twice in a month.. Please try their food if you want proper Indian food .

Came across this little place as we passed late and everything else was closed. Felt a warm, cozy atmosphere and the owner treated us as if we were his own personal guests. Food tasted so fresh and home made. Felt I had visited a small eatery in my native country with the vibe and deco too. Overall a very pleasant experience indeed. Would highly recommend.

Good food meat was beat under cooked. Fish was nice l. In veg sev tomato was excellent. Owner should think of putting tissue on the table as customer always had to ask for it. Travel all the way from London food wasn’t disappointed.

We have been many times in Bharuchis. We are from preston and it's worth travelling this far for bharuchis authentication dishes. We had Chicken Lollipop, Pomfret masala fish, Dara Masala Fish, Karahi Gosht, kadhi khichadi, Rotla. We specially come for dal chawal on Friday. Best place for desi Home Bharuchi food. Always best taste. Always welcomed ☺️

We recently dined at Bharuchis and were blown away by the delicious food! Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The bhindi curry was a standout, perfectly seasoned and fresh. As a Gujarati Kathiyawadi, the chai took me back to Indian tapri days. The food was pure and authentic, just like Maa's cooking. Great service too! Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine, flavorful cuisine.

Oh wow just came across this place and was having second thoughts if I should eat there or not, until I ate the food and was amazed. words can’t describe how good the food was. It was soo good I ordered seconds and couldn’t get up so I stayed abit longer and ended up ordering eat which was amazing, the eat was a new experience for me. Went there yesterday first time, and we were greeted by the owner, who was very welcoming and helpful in what to order, and all food is cooked by his wife (the chef). All the food selections are amazing, all very unique flavors, and all seasoned perfectly. Also all food is freshly prepared which can told by the taste of the food. Will definitely be going back!

I went with my family last sunday evening. We have ordered fried pomfret,fish pakoda, mutton(goat) curry and naan, rotla and rotlis. I still can't believe that we have tasted as same as India and we loved all the food items and his hopitality. It might take some time to get the food but we have not any complaint for that, because they might making same time in kitchen and its worth to wait and get the fresh food instead readymade.

Rating 5* Called Bharuchis Saturday evening as wanted to dine in with family of 7 and the owner Javid was very accomadating and polite, offered us a suitable time slot and booked us in. An arrival the welcoming was friendly, having said that the owner and chef were friendly throughout the whole evening :-) The menu variety is amazing, we couldn't try everything but there are a lot of things we would like to go back to try. The starters, mains, tandoori naan roti and desserts was cooked deliciously, well presented and the portion sizes are generous. I would recommend to everyone veg and non veg👌

Visited Bharuchis last weekend for a family meal. We were welcomed and well looked after by the owner and chefs, very polite and friendly and the customer service was fantastic. The dine in menu variety was amazing for veg and non veg, we ordered a few starters including the sizzling mixed grill and lamb chops it was cooked to perfection whilst served hot and very presentable. We ordered kids meals, lamb karai and chicken curry these were also very tasty and the chapaties were so soft and fluffy! We ordered mango soji and it’s by far the best soji we have eaten, it came garnished with plentiful of nuts! We usually take photos but on this occasion we were so hungry we ate before the snaps! In a nutshell if you want tasty and good quality food definitely give these guys a try you won’t be disappointed.

Non descript place, not inviting at all. Food is very good good, all freshly cooked. Methi thepla, karella, cudhi, all vg, wife approved. Not really a place to go for special meal, but great take away or quick snack
