BGs Cafe Restaurant in Harborough

Lovely little find on our recent visit to the town. Fantastic food and excellent service, all at a reasonable price. Small restaurant that wasn't very busy, but they were doing a lot of takeaways, so clearly popular. We liked it so much we went back a couple of days later!

Had a takeaway for the first time in a couple of years. Have to say it was very disappointing and nowhere near the standard we have had previously, both in the restaurant and at home. The halloumi grill was particularly poor, being nothing but a few lumps of halloumi, bread, cold chips and a sad salad. Meat in the special was also not up to the usual standard. Value for money was terrible. Really disappointing as we have always had great meals here in the past.

I love there food don't get me wrong but portion sizes are getting smaller every time. The kebab special @£16.50 barely touched the sides even the biggest @£32 is not that big. Like I said food great but come on guys size matters this is the nearest kebab to me but think I'll travel that little extra few miles to get a lot lot more.
