We loved it here. Great food, service and value for money.

Great customer service started before we arrived, I had some questions for a disabled member of our party. Georgia was so helpful, she described to food brilliantly and arranged for us to eat in a shack. The food was great, our waitress was kind and helpful. And now I need to lay down because you don't leave this place feeling hungry ;) Highly recommend, we'll definitely return.

Burger was average/good Atmosphere and staff great.

I highly recommend booking one of the shacks. You get to have your own little party! Great food and I left feeling very full.

Can’t recommend enough. The food was fantastic, great setting, service was brilliant. We had friends down who are both chefs and they thought it was amazing. The owner showed one of our friends the smoking process and even sent him some products for no other reason than kindness. We’ll be back!

Don't judge a book by its cover. We were taken here by family for food, and when they said it was burgers, we were underwhelmed by the idea, how wrong we were! The burgers were plentiful and full of flavour served on classic tin plates, just made it all feel very rustic but moden all at the same time. The outside makes it look like a bit of an afterthought, but once you're inside, it's perfect! The simplicity of it gives it great charm and brought a fantastic atmosphere to the night. If you're near here and looking for good food and drink with amazing service, look no further. BFK has it all. Next time.were in the area we will be back.

Great fun, great food, great service, great beer, what's not to like. It's a rustic and hand made affair but perfectly functional. Awsome.

First time dropping into hanlons, but just for a drink.... Super nice layout., lovely indoor or outdoor seating and little huts with music and heating... Service was good.. Has their pilsner lager which was super nice, but my wife wine was OK is from small bottles...food smelled amazing and very nice staff... Well worth a visit for a drink and I am looking forward to returning for some food..

Absolute gem this place is! Someone recommended it to me and my partner and we initially went there for burgers, but once we saw Peggy Sue, there was no turning back from having a delicious smoked meats platter for two. Food is super delicious, the atmosphere is great and the place is absolutely beautiful all together! Plus a jar of chipotle alioli to take it home with me. Cannot wait to come back for more!♥️

Quick stop for a few pints and some fabulous burgers on our way home from a day out walking. I actually had three 1/3 pints on a paddle so I could try three of the pints on cask. Great vibes about this place, very warm, great service. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious smoked meats!! We finally decided to try and were not disappointed… everything was so yum! We had great service too 👍🏼 And it’s dog friendly 🐕

Fantastic. As a lover of bbq I was so impressed with this venue. The good was amazing. As I lover of beer I was very impressed by the selection and variety of flavours. It has everything you can possibly want.

Amazing and unique experience. Great food and tasty smoked ribs and chicken. Will definitely be back. We had a private shed and the whole family loved it.

Had a really great meal here! We were offered one of the heated sheds to eat in which I thought you had to book but I guess we got lucky. Service was impeccable and food came quickly but more importantly was delish. Tip: get the Carolina BBQ mustard dip!

The food here is insane. Massive portions and taste incredible. The staff are also always incredibly friendly. One of the best places to eat in or take away.

Great food and service! Highly recommend a visit

This place is a little outside Exeter but is well worth the visit. We had one of the smoke sheds which were great. In terms of food we shared the Buddy Holly Platter which we really enjoyed. Staff were very attentive and friendly too.

Some of the best BBQ food I've ever eaten. We had the Smokehouse Pork Platter for 2, priced at £40, and you definitely get your money's worth! Beautifully smoked selection of pork, including a full rack of ribs and pulled pork - I cannot fault the food, absolutely delicious. They also have a good selection of vegetarian options, though I have yet to try any of them. Being on the grounds of Hanlons Brewery, you can choose from a great selection of drinks and also take some home from the brewery shop. BFK is an absolute hidden gem with lovely, friendly staff. If you're after a crisp pint and amazing BBQ food, you should head down.

Awesome BBQ and a great brewery tour to boot. Beer is spot on too, highly recommended.

Wow.. what can we say? Authentic well cooked BBQ ribs, pulled pork, burgers and accompaniments! We had so much we had to bring a box home! Really loved this place and will be back

Love this place. We're local do go here often, for a takeaway or take friends and sit in. Staff are always friendly and helpful. They have incredible beer from Hanlons on tap... Yellow Hammer always a favourite, though last night I tried Sundowner and it's delicious. Food never disappoints, it's delicious, fresh, smokey and always incredibly well balanced. Highly recommend La Beast burger if your feeling hungry. The veggie options or good too, in particular the beanie burger and veggie Nachos. Though to be honest it's all delicious. Go try! 🙌

Everything was delicious, lovely service just a lovely place in general

Incredible, lovely atmospheric heated outdoor space{they have temporary walls for winter and gas heaters} . We went in early may and it was cosy, they also offered us blankets. I loved how the smoker is in the dining area. Staff were polite, attentive and friendly. Food is incredible and fairly priced. 8 hour smoked ribs, 5 hour smoked chicken shredded on top of lovely fries. Burgers are amazing, perfectly cooked well thought out fillings that balance perfectly. It's a brewery and the beers are fantastic. They had a themed specials menu for the coronation as well as a draft coronation pale ale taht was delicious. Lovely slaw, just perfection. The BEST FOOD and atmosphere I have experienced in 17 years of living and working in Exeter.

Once again Beer Factory Kitchen exceeded expectations! Everyone’s food was cooked perfectly, delicious crispy fries, pulled pork to die for and great burgers. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly and the space was perfect too.

Amazing setting and good service but I have to say, the burger was so dry. Either fat percentage very low or overcooked but wasn’t very happy with it.

This place understands Smoking and BBQ. This was such an awesome experience. From the ribs to the pulled pork to Mrs Claws dirty fries and maple chicken. Every bite was 10/10. The portions are well worthy of the price. Too full to sample more of the menu. I will just have to go back. 😂 And I will be bringing more people with me. Can't wait to share this place with my foodie friends.

Great meal, 4 of us shared sausages, ribs and nachos with the great beer they make. Sat outside in November with heating. Atmospheric and very nice staff, great service and unique tastes.

We had Sam as our waiter and she was amazing and soooo friendly as everyone is every time we come! Food is to die for 10/10 all around

The food was really nice, but the real ale 🍺 was very nice, I just wish that I was not the driver so that I could have had a lot more of the Steamstay Amber ale it went down really well with the pork ribs, as you are sat outside, it is a good idea to take a coat and preorder your food and it don't come with chips ,you need to order them separately

Awesome burgers! If you love burgers then this is the best place around. They make their own beer here too, and while you're chowing down on one of their delicious burgers (my favourite being La Cantina) the informal restaurant has the novel backdrop of the beer factory to see. Sam and the staff are always very welcoming and friendly. It's a great experience serving delicious amazing food.

Best original food I've had for years.

Highly recommended this place. The ribs are delicious, garlic butter chips are nice. My son had the mixed bean burger, he liked it too. Great selection of beers, not to mentioned great service too!

Ordered food for collection a few times now and every time the food is amazing. Great menu with creative specials. Well worth the 20 minute drive. I haven’t eaten in yet, but they have a nice, open outdoor space with seating and tables. There is also a nice selection of beers, although I haven’t tried one myself yet

We went for my husband's birthday last week. Amazing food and they staff were really accommodating when we were cold and placed us under the heater when the people before had left. They even bought my husband a birthday brownie complete with sparkler and lots of embarrassment! Thank you. We will be back soon =)

Lovely burgers and fresh cask beer

Hands down best burgers ever and to be accompanied with a pint is heaven in a beer garden! You can tell all the ingredients are of really good quality and staff are so friendly. Will definitely be back!

First of many visits. We went to the beer factory and kitchen for the first time and was blown away. Knowing Tim Golders reputation and the quality of his food from previously going la cantina and olivias back in the day. I was expecting it to be good but not the culinary feast that we consumed. We sampled most of the menu and wide choice and variations were amazing. If you like a fareastern twist to a classic burger .The menu has something for everyone. not one thing will disappoint you at this awsome restaurant . I dare anyone to go there and not come out full and having ate some of the best food Exeter and Devon has to offer. Well worth getting out there to see for yourself. Oh and the beer and deserts are pretty top notch as well hahah. Thanks to all the staff for a great night.
