Betty's Traditional Fish & Chips in Blackpool

Chips were awful and were thrown away, the small fish is very small, not worth the money. Only went because Bentleys was shut, will not be returning. To be avoided.

Hot cooked food to order fish white batter crisp chips to die for carnt say no more excellent yes you wait as its cooked to order so what

I stopped by this place because I needed to grab some food quickly and thought that they would be able to accommodate. We ordered a large fish and chips, a chip barm and a water. Had to wait approximately 10 mins for the food as it seemed to be cook to order, which I wasn't informed about from the start. The chips were lovely. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the "large" fish. It was by no means large, extremely thin and very unsubstantial. The long wait, alongside the poor quality fish means I would be unlikely to return. On a side note, not the best thing that whilst waiting for our food, I could hear the person who served me putting together his McDonald's order with his colleague.

We called here a couple of times on Monday evening during our overnight stay in Blackpool. The first visit was for a hot dog for our son, which he said was delicious and very good value for money. The second visit was for hot drinks after our illuminations tram tour. My aunt is lactose intollerant and asked if they were able to do a lactose free hot drink. Apparently the owner has coeliac disease, and caters for various food allergies and intolerances (gluten, dairy, etc). My aunt thoroghly enjoyed her gluten free oat milk decaf latte, so much so that she went back the next morning after breakfast to see if they were open, but sadly not. The hot chocolates are delicious too! I'm not sure of their names, but the male & female members of staff that we spoke to on Monday evening were super friendly & helpful, thanks for all your help guys!!
