Betty's Beach Hut in Copeland

This is the first time we have been to Betty's. My goodness what fab food. Got a bacon and sausage patty breakfast bun in a ciabatta roll. We added mushrooms too. It was delicious. Best I've ever had. The quality of in ingredients was top class. The staff were so nice to. A totally amazing little jem right across from the sea. Thank you ladies we will be back. Again amazing.xx

Gorgeous cafe. With fabulous views. Lovely stop off for coffee and tea cake. Staff really friendly and coffee was delicious. Other people were having meals that looks delicious. Definitely worth a visit when in Haverigg

Excellent service and great full English and breakfast cobs with extras. We arrived a little after the 11.30 end of breakfast, but were still able to have breakfast, we also had a cafetiere for 4. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Just what we needed after our 4 mile walk along the beach.

Visited for the first time yesterday while staying in Haverigg for the week, lovely welcoming cafe & staff are friendly, we had scampi & it was delicious 😋 highly recommend Betty’s to anyone staying local, the menu has something for everyone & we will certainly return to sample more 🤩

Really lovely and friendly place to eat. We were on holiday and walking our 2 chi's on the beach and noticed the cafe. We had a lovely lunch there with generous portion sizes, lots of filling in sandwiches with a lovely home made coleslaw and salad (I had one of the best cheese toasties I've ever had) and we went back twice more for a vegetarian breakfast, which were huge and tasty. Definitely recommend a visit if you are on the beach or you are just in the area and looking for somewhere to eat. I will look forward to being back in the area as I would make a special trip to go there for my lunch! Be mindful that they close at 3pm.

We where staying in a holiday cottage near by. Took the dog for walk along the beach. Stopped off here. Can honestly say the food was amazing. Service with a smile and free parking. Best cumbernauld sausage patty I have ever tasted. Well worth a stop.

A real treasure in Haverigg. This is a little gem just what Haverigg needs A friendly service and lovely food. We ate here a few times and always got the same friendly service and excellent food at reasonable prices

Betty's is ideal for any meal time they make a great breakfast with a varied menu this visit I just had an ice cream cornet even they had a choice of flavors and it was delicious. I highly recommend a visit if you're in Haverigg plus it's right opposite the beach and play area.

Lovely food and great service. 3 of us had the scampi and 1 had the hotdogs. Large portions. Hot chocolate was excellent.

We came across Betty's beach cafe by chance. What excellent friendly service, the place had a really happy feeling about it. The food was served quickly tasted great. Bacon in a bun. And lots of it!! And a good sized pot of tea. It would definitely be my local if I lived nearby.

Visited here before heading home after visiting friends in the area. Friendly welcome from staff, Excellent breakfast menu and lunchtime choices ( all of which is purchased locally including the butchers and a coffee brand called Penningtons from Kendal) Excellent full English and breakfast rolls. Ideally located on the beach at Haverigg

I had the full English breakfast with locally sourced ingredients including Cumberland sausage, eggs and bacon. It was really tasty not a sign of grease thank goodness! and excellent value for money including a pot of tea and 2 rounds of toast.

Lovely place to go to eat. Friendly atmosphere, very clean, food was fresh and very tasty. The coffee was lovely and smooth. Will definitely be going again.

Extremely tasty great quality food. Generous portion sizes. I had scampi and can honestly say it's the nicest scampi I have ever tasted. Served with peas, salad, coleslaw, tartare sauce and a generous portion of chips. The owners are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Would definitely recommend a visit when you're in the area.

We had some fantastic Penningtons coffee with cream, so delicious all 4 of us re-ordered to takeaway too. Ann's and all staff were so friendly and helpful. The inside is bright, clean and welcoming. Definitely going to be our new preferred coffee stop! Exceptional when you factor in that they've not even been open 2 weeks. Already wanting to go back today

This little cafe has just been taken over by a local family, who are extremely friendly and helpful! They let us get delicious ice creams even though they had just closed up. Perfect spot by the water with a great kids' playground nearby.
