Best Shawarma in Sunderland

Place was clean and prices reasonable. Friendly staff. Service was fast and there was a seating area too.

It really is the 'Best Shawarma'. Food delicious and staff very friendly (especially Abdul). The prices are so cheap you can afford to eat there several times a week. You really must try it!

Bad service. I told that man I want salad, tomato and onion on my shawarma. He just put tomato and onion, and when I said I want salad too, he raised his voice with annoying face said that please say it earlier and he take the salad and throw on my shawarma. Next, I am short so I need to tiptoe to see he's making my shawarma behind the counter. He mad and asked me to stand properly. Then, I want to pay by using card but again he said with annoying face, cash only. I just put the cash on the counter and left. Terrible service. I cried because I was so excited to try their shawarma. This would be my last time. I told my friends about this and they said their service are really poor.

The shawarma is amazing. I'm a regular customer and don't think there is better halal food in Sunderland at the moment. The portion is also huge compared to other halal stores. For $2.50 you get a shawarma and for $ 4, you'll get a student meal with shawarma, chips and a drink. Cleanliness can be improved but other than that, all is good. I'll recommend to all

After reading the reviews tried this little gem of a place excellent value and delicious. There home made bread definitely separates it from the rest!

the food is excellent but the staff sometimes can be a bit rude and take their time with everything they only have like 5 things on the menu and you can be waiting 20 mins to be served but the food is outstanding to such as small place

I'm a college student who visits this place at least once a week, sometimes up to 3 a week. Extremely good food for extremely good value, definitely recommend.

Best Shawarma delivers as it boasts! The bread was cooked fresh to order and this made it one of the best Shawarma's I have had in this country. I had chicken shawarma and had the choice of added lettuce, toms, cucumber, onion, jalapeño, pickles, sauces. A small was plenty and only £2.50. You could easily walk past this place as its frontage is unassuming and basic, but don't.......you would miss a real treat. Take away available and several tables for eat-in.

Best shawarma I have ever had in the Uk. They cook the flatbreads fresh per order, the chicken shawarma is divine and they only cost £2.50 each choices of sauces but little in the way of salad choice, but this is not a complaint. IF I lived in Sunderland I would be here all the time!

Love, love, love this place!!! I am yet to be able to eat the entire meal you get loads for your money 10 out of 10 And the tea is out of this world wish I knew where to buy it.

Been to this establishment several times since it opened. Never been disappointed with the quality of the food! Fast and friendly service and the meats are seasoned beautifully to give an amazing flavour! Would highly recommend

me and my colleagues come a couple times a week for lunch. we always say we will go elsewhere but will come here everytime. the food is so simple but lovely. would recommend

I've eaten here several times and also had takeaway. The service as very quick, the bread is cooked while you wait (only takes a minute) and is delicious. The meat is split roasted and remains very moist and tasty. If you have never tried Shawarma I'd urge you to try it

These kebabs are the best ever. Always delicious. Only ever had better in Turkey - shame they close early

Grabbed myself mixed and chicken shawarma's a few times from here and they always yummy very fresh with plenty flavour. The service is good very quick and easy and the place is very clean, Really can't complain about anything so I'll keep eating here. Keep up the good work guys
