Wasted an hour of our lives waiting for this awful food. We were greeted by miserable staff who looked annoyed to take our order and we then sat on hard chairs waiting for an hour to get 3 simple meals. The staff all looked fed up and angry, we never saw a smile once and every customer was greeted with a surly attitude. Eventually got our food which can only be described as average and definitely not worth the wait. We will never return.

Ordered takeaway meal for 2 on the special kebab menu . Absolutely lovely food , not greasy at all , good portions & nice staff to talk to while waiting Better than our our local Turkish in Kent & that’s pretty good !

Worst tasting donner kebab EVER June 2023 , it had a taste of soap /detergant, not just some but all of the donner meat was the same, the sauces garlic & chilli were extremely bland / tasteless, the chips were previously fried & then re fried before being sent out to me, Basically inedible all of it, i placed it ALL in the bin with the intention of seeking a refund but friends advised against confrontation & possible repercussions so i have held fire untill well clear of the area TERRIBLE IS BEING POLITE. I regularly buy a doner kebab at what is now called the Village Kebab & Pizza. It is a very good sized portion and really well priced. Staff always helpful and friendly. Thankfully it managed to survive the COVID downturn due to a solid take-away and delivery customer base.

This place has changed it's name from Efes. The Special meals were great, very generous portions, other kebabs were a bit too greasy. We enjoyed the pizzas too. Friendly service. All food to takeaway.

And now its shut but another one has opened in its place called village kebab & pizza and i dont think i eill be trying them seen as they serve rice with your kebab. Not a scooby doo clue that tells me

Visited here for the second time on a Friday evening. Sat in the restaurant, the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return and hope more people try the restaurant, as a new venture it needs all the support it can get.

ok, I know they are havinbg a few teething troubles with deliveries BUT - the food is really really good and eating in offers so many choices, we took our own beer and had a lovely meal. have had a take away (collected) and it was so good, really recommend this place. they should offer a lunchtime OAP special to get the word out there.

We stopped off for a meal during their first week of opening, we ate in & I have to say the food was delicious, authentic, hot and value for money. It was a slightly chaotic atmosphere due to the newness of the set up, front of house staff had limited English & the proprietor was busy for-filling take-away orders so customers definitely need a little patience here until they are in the full swing of things, new businesses need local support in order for them to flourish, we will support this restaurant, the owner is a nice guy, friendly and welcoming , the food speaks for itself, and although it takes a little longer than an established restaurant, it seems to be worth the wait. Hopefully they will have an alcohol licence soon as that was a downfall for me when eating out. Overall a good dining experience. Worth your support in its early days of getting established.

Lovely people lovely food. The Turkish cuisine is very authentic. The restaurant is basic in it's style but if you have every been to Turkey you will realise that it is decorated as per the true Turkish restaurant style. Delicious. Worth a visit and more

So good to get turkish food so close to home. Friendly staff and good food. Easier than getting turkish food in Icmeler.

Ordered 1 pizza and 1 mixed kebab to be delivered in bacton.person on phones English was awful. 1hr later food turned up. Pizza was nice, kebab was cold and had 4 pieces of chicken. So in all. Terrible service. Slow delivery. Overpriced.

Had yesterday first time take away from there and we can highly recommend the food. Tender meat delicious salads. We know that the wait was around 45min but that did not matter. Lovely to have also the choice of delivery if u do not want to collect. Definetly will will keep getting food from there or eat in. We are lucky to have so a good nice new restaurant option in Bacton

We have eaten in the restaurant, and the food was nice. However, service not so good - chaotic, and a stark uncomfortable environment - not like a restaurant at all. Even worse, we tried takeaway for delivery (advised 45 minutes) - food never turned up, couldn't get through to them, not answering the phone...... Never again.

My husband & I were recommended by friends to try the food here we ordered a medium donor wrap with salad and a 9 inch farm house pizza, the food was delicious and while we waited for our order we were offered Turkish tea. Lovely hospitality, we will definitely be back soon

Brilliant restaurant serving Turkish food and pizzas. Prices good, service excellent, food delicious. Would highly recommend.

If I was opening a Turkish restaurant of the great food quality offered at this restaurant my first thought would not have been Bacton as it’s a little off the beaten track - unless you live there then it’s ideal!! The food was really lovely and the service could not be faulted. It’s clearly still trying to find its feet but is a fantastic addition to the village which will hopefully help draw in the crowds.

Well a Turkish Restaurant in Bacton there's a first. The florescent tube lighting and the very large windows the front did make me think that this was a converted garage. The staff were very helpful albeit English isn't their first language, often a good thing when serving Turkish food. The food was freshly cooked and the salads were to die for. I didn't note that the mains came with rice so my side order of chips was only half eaten. We took our own wine because the premises haven't got an alcohol license yet. I did ask permission to open our own wine and I found it assuming that I was asked what I wanted to drink at the end of ordering our food, auto pilot. There appeared to be a good takeaway business which may become problematic if the restaurant was to get busy as well, there were only two members of staff there. I think they are going to do Pizzas soon because he said something about Pizzas being in the bedroom, perhaps the pizza ovens were upstairs waiting to be fitted. The extractor fans provide a little underwhelming and the chef/cook opened the door to the arctic coastal winds.

Just opened so though I would have a visit. Interesting menu (note no pizza till October) with traditional kebabs and Greek/Turkish style dish. Enjoyed the meal and had a warm welcome. NB CASH ONLY- They do not take cards at the moment.
