Best Chopsticks in East Riding of Yorkshire

Best Chinese we have ever had me my wife and a friend we all said the best ever delivered to our caravan it was hot no need to microwave set meal for 3 starters and 3 mains enough for us for tea the next day 6 meals for £25.00 fantastic value we will use everytime we holiday nearby

Delicious food, and a great menu choice - I ordered the mixed starter and extra crispy won ton with a side of seaweed, it was fantastic and tasty. For my main I had special curry and egg fried rice, it was fantastic. My husband had the special chow mein and chips and both of these were lovely too. We were pleased as we also got free prawn crackers and a big bottle of coke! The delivery was quick and taking my order was easy and everyone was friendly. I would definitely order again! It was salter plane and not no taste to the food I rate it 1 I will never go there again worst food I have ever tasted so don't go there shut food

Got a takeaway for family of three, found everything over greasy and overcooked. Half of the food was thrown away as unedible.

Ordered starter for 2, chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce, beef in green pepper with black bean sauce and 2 egg fried rice. Delivery was quick and the starter was good except for the very watery sweet and sour sauce (more like a vinegar than a sauce) Then the main…. Chicken balls were absolutely massive, reason for this is the masses of batter and not sure where from a chicken the mush inside it was from but had one and it tasted like a chicken donut with the same consistency. Sweet and sour sauce was same as starter and more runny than a child’s nose with a cold The beef in black bean sauce was very fatty and poor meat. The black bean sauce was more like gravy than black bean. The rice was worryingly tough as if it hadn’t been cooked enough. So paid £18 for a starter only as something I could eat. If given this in a restaurant I would have walked out or wanted my money back but as it’s a takeaway you take your chances If could take it back I would.

A lovely meal, but poor vegetarian options and to top it off there was a piece of chicken in our vegetarian meal, feels like it was a reheated chicken dish with the chicken picked out, or they have zero care and attention over food hygiene.

When visiting the takeaway with my family I asked about allergy advice as I have coeliac disease and can’t eat gluten (it makes me very ill). It very clearly stated to discuss any allergens with the server. When I asked him for advice about any dishes he said “we cannot guarantee that any of our dishes would not contain wheat”. Whilst this is a safe answer it was very unhelpful and means that any potential customer that has any food allergies cannot order anything at all. Clearly another take away with no real knowledge of what ingredients they use and what allergy risks are on there menu.

Quality Chinese! Tasted superb, delivered to the holiday park on time. Recommended! Beef in peking was spot on!!!

This is quiet possible the most vile food i have ever had ! The chip felt like they was soaked in deep dirty fat. The sweet sour sauce was like water and never seen it look like gravy colour before. This is the worst take away i have ever had in 30 odd years of my life strongly recommend you avoid this

Fancied a Chinese takeaway whilst on holiday in Withernsea and a menu for this takeaway was in the information folder and there was a couple of comments attached to the menu,recommending it. We wasn't disappointed,easy order on Just Eat,given a time for delivery of 40 minutes and the meal arrived in 25. Piping hot and delicious,must admit the salt and pepper chips were far better than the ones at home. Next time we stay in Withernsea we will use this takeaway again...👍

We moved to Withernsea in 2017 and tried most of the local takeaways. Without doubt this was the best and most constent Chinese style takeaway I have ever used.The owners are friendly and pleasant and the cooking is extremelly good.I simply don't understand why they have received negative feedback in previous years,maybe from jealous competitors?.. to sum up, great food, wide menu with unusual dishes, friendly service, and consistent quality. Best in Withernsea and district.

honestly thought they had got the order wrong when it came as I've never seen a more watery curry in my life. tasted as it looked..bland, no flavour. huge disappointment

We are staying at Withensea Sands and noticed this chinese when walking through Withensea the only one with menu's available outside premises when closed. Later we phoned for an order to be delivered to our caravan and for £1.20 we had the meal delivered. A set meal for 3 that could of easily served 5 large portions and great value for money. All piping hot and tasted great. Pity we don't have a Chinese like this where we live.

Imagine the worse Chinese meal you can. Now that meal is 9/10 in scores. Dead Cocksticks would rate 0/10. If you like onions, beansprouts, onions, Wilko wallpaper paste, onions, salt and onions as the base for every dish, then faint from the thrill of four prawns in a prawn dish, and onions, swoon at the thrill of mystery meat (is it beef, pork, chicken or zombie corpse), then order. I wish I could be positive. But I’ve given them three try’s, and some how they manage to get worse each time. Please go to Chinese cooking school, or at the very least have consideration for those who order food for a family and watch as plates are emptied barely touched into the brown bin!

Will never ever buy from this place again!! Buy from here every week and get told have to order at 4.30 The attitude !!! Disgusting !!!

My wife and I were staying for a long weekend in Withensea and fancied a Chinese takeaway, but did not know the local area. We looked through several reviews and picked the Best Chopsticks; we ordered a special fried rice dish, a curry dish & Peeking prawns all for delivery. The delivery was on time, the food was piping hot and despite being different from our local Chinese was delicious and a quite unexpected takeaway gem. I would thougherly recommended this establishment for fresh high quality food made with care and flare with prompt delivery.

If you like a nice garlic sauce and enjoy a variety of meats, go for the mushroom surprise under the chefs specials. I could eat it every week. mmmm

The food was delicious and plentiful, everything was a cut above the rest, we're only on holiday but it's far better than we have at home, and a lot cheaper, the staff was polite, he seemed to be rushed off his feet though,but he belonged to the owner

Called to place an order and I asked if they used cornflower on their dishes (because of allergies) got told “I don’t know” i asked if she could check and got told no, and she hung up on me! Ooooh thank you best chopsticks. Will avoid you.

Absolutely horrid food I ordered a family meal for 4 spent over £40 it all ended up on the bin my satay was like pure salt water the meat was awfull .within 2 mouth fulls I was in the toilet with a bad stomach. I'd really advise any one to give this place a wide birth

Llegó en 30 minutos exactamente como ordenados, galletas saladas, gambas cortesía pop como pedido de más de 25 libras. Colocan directamente en nuestra caravana. Personal amable. La comida es buenísima, gran tamaño de las porciones, sin duda, lo recomendaría, y un pedido de nuevo.

bank holiday weekend. didn't want to cook on sunday so rang. for takeaway special chowmain not sure that's how it's spelt!!!! any way !!! arrived within the time they said , hot , and very nice , will be having this again

Order via just eat food took over a hour to arrive and was absolutely terrible the worst chinease I have ever had

we go to our caravan at sand le mere most summer weekends with 2 or 3 of 7 grandkids in tow and we always enjoy a takeaway from here its always tasty hot and delivered on time looking forward to next year!

We ordered last night and the delivery service was excellent it came to our caravan within half hour but I really wish they had never found us. The beef in my dish was chewy and fatty and and the curry my partner got was like a curry jelly it came out of the container and maintained the shape of the container. The bbq spare ribs were grey and think they had been running round the greyhound track earlier that day and I think a good vet would have got the prawns back swimming! It was by far the worse Chinese ever! Complete waste of £20 avoid at all costs

Stay away unless you want to be very disappointed! Watery curry's that are tasteless.. this place has one star hygiene rating which says it all.

Got a chicken chow main.wish I'd never bothered.the food seemed OK. But i have spent the last two days living in the bathroom...the worst stomach cramps ever..will not be using this place again.and I think my digestive system will thank me..

Chicken curry and chips disgusting. Chicken hard and not eatable! Watery cury, won't ever be going back. Waste of money

So on tonight's menu was pink chicken, cut a chunk in half and pink right the way through! Dirty rats. Complained via just eat and they told me the lady wouldn't refund, refused to say the chicken was pink and refused to come and view the chicken then hung up the phone neverrrrr again!!!!

Tenía una gran comida para llevar desde aquí en un fin de semana largo en Withernsea Sands. Nos trajeron a la Caravana y tardaron 35 minutos en llegar. Tuvimos cerdo crujiente, Singapore chow mien, rollos de pato y sal y pimienta langostinos king. Todo estaba bien preparado y sabía bien. Le hubiera dado 5 de 5, pero la sal y la pimienta langostinos king no eran muy picantes. Sin duda ordenar desde aquí.

Having order over a year ago and not enjoyed . We thought lets give it another chance, and now I wish id just saved my money and gone elsewhere. The food is always covered in a greasy watery mess. Everything we ordered stinks foul and is now actualky making me feel sick. All with the same odour. Honestly this place really needs to go or change owners, I can not understand how it is infact still open. Avoif like the plague

I was on holiday in Withernsea with my family and I wanted to treat them to a Chinese takeaway, I was advised by a local business owner not to use this takeaway as they had had a bad inspection but the other takeaway on the high street which was recommended was closed. This was the worst Chinese we have ever eaten and my son had a midge in his sweet and sour sauce.

Been awhile since we tried it due to the inspection results been so low but because it has gone up we thought we would give it a try how wrong was we we got sweet and sour chicken balls with noodles and chips the chips where a greasy mess the noodles where rock hard and tasted like charcoal and the chicken balls was just over cooked batter with a tiny bit of chicken in, it should be illegal to sell food so bad never again with i spend my money there regardless of reviews etc... worst food ive ever had

Service was absolutely appalling. Horrendous attitude for a business women. Insulted me verbally when hygiene was questioned after being ill 4 times getting takeaway from there. Hid my reviews on just eat. Horrible upsetting service.

I went in the takeaway to order one night on my way home from work. I walked in and started looking at the menu, once I decided what to order, I stood patiently at the counter while the woman stood behind the counter preparing food, it was during this brief delay that I started to look around the place, the counters in the back were covered in large containers of what looked like pre-cooked food left to go cold. Rice & noodles galore with not a piece of clingfilm in sight to keep the flies off?? This is July by the way on one of the hottest days of the year.......What struck me as odd is there didn't seem to be a gas ring or fryer in sight, like the food is prepared offsite?Needless to say, I made my excuses and walked up the road to another Chinese takeaway

Remove of not allowed : however I ordered a Chinese from best chopsticks in withernsea tonight I ordered special chow mein and when I got it home I opened the containers and the meat it contained absolutely smelt rancid I phoned the shop to let them no and was told to f##ck off and to stop aking trouble the woman was very abusive so I went back to the shop for my money back and was given the same abuse the police attended and agreed with me the woman refused me my money back and was shouting at the police lady I'm now left with no alternative but to report them to enviromental health I'm told I'm not the first person they have abused and done the same to I use to eat there every week but never again just a word if warning to anyone thinking of going there !! Thanks

We have used this a few times merely for the purpose of trying a few different dishes before giving a honest review. All eateries have the odd off day but it turns out this place doesn't have an on day. I can honestly say this is a terrible place to order food from. They get orders wrong and make no attempt to correct this, they burn food and the last time i had sweet and sour chicken it looked and tasted more like spam. They are difficult to talk to as they don't seem to have grasped good customer service. You work hard for the money guys, so don't part with it here. !!!!

We placed our order via just eat, it took an hour and a half to arrive, to then discover some of our order was missing! When we contacted them they put the phone down on us on 2 occassions. Would not refund our order and not even an apology! Will never use again!!!!

Waited over an hour for our order to be delivered which sometimes you expect on a Saturday evening ... Only to find the sweet & sour sauce was missing from our sweet & sour chicken meal , after being charged £2.20 for delivery I wasn't happy to say the least ! I phoned up and was told I would get the sauce free next time .... I explained I can't eat it without and asked for this to be delivered asap as food was going cold, 25 mins later still no sign so made a call again, to then be passed on to female owner for her to shout down the phone at me "DELIVERY GUY ON WAY " on asking for a part refund she slammed the phone down. We live only 5 mins away from the town centre and after 45mins the sauce arrived which we turned away . Very unhappy and will not be using again !

Ordered sweet and sour chicken fried rice chop suey curry chips etc the rice was burnt the curry still had lumps in the sauce and the batter was milky inside and uncooked waste of time

Eaten here a lot and never had any problems. The delivery is always fast and the food is lovely with lots to choose from!

i ordered special fried rice but received what could only be described as a chop suey like dish with plain fried rice at the bottom, when i called to say i had the wrong order i was told that she took the order so she knows what I ordered and that i ordered wet fried rice not dry (there is no option on menu, neither does it say it comes in a sauce) this ended with the lady screaming at me down the phone and slamming the phone down. I tried to call back numerous times but my call was cut off. NEVER AGAIN

When I first moved to the area this was the best Chinese takeaway but sorry to say the food and delivery service has gone right down hill. Had the new lady owner shouting at me saying the delivery was at my front door funny that as I am stood here and it isn't. Very rude lady. delivery took almost 2 hours wont be going back as the food quality is now shockingChinese first can have my money now as they have really improved

Ordered a meal from chopsticks. Placed the order at 5:30 so expected delivery about 6:15 as was 7 miles away. I rang at 6:30 and was told there's a problem with my order. The did not have the courtesy to ring me during this hour to say they had a problem. I asked how long it would be and can they do it quickly as the whole family was going out for the night at 8pm. Was rudely told other orders have come in since and will have to wait my turn. Well it turned up at 8:30 pm and ruined our night out. Shame on you for such a bad service.
