Bentley Green Beefeater in Walsall

Came here this evening for a Sunday lunch . We had to wait a long time for the food . When it came it was cold. Not enough food to feed a mouse and wasnt worth the £67.00 we had to pay for it .The staff were nice so I can't fault them .we were going to order a pudding but decided against it . They did knock a tiny bit off but the meal just wasn't worth the money.we won't be going there again .

Absolute favourite place to eat. Food is really good, service is amazing. Every member of staff is so friendly and helpful really makes the evening, I want to mention all of the lovely staff but will go with Vicky today who served us last weekend - thanks Vicky a pleasure as always 😊

Breakfast was good, waitress Gemma was really nice, very polite, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Food was served very quickly.

Staff were great , food was very average and zero ambiance for an evening out , really disappointing (someone was vacuuming another part of restaurant, we visited around 7pm ) we’d never been here before it felt like it’s fine as a food place for the hotel but not for an evening out . £5 extra for 2 prawns, food was cooked nice but nothing special at all , I had fillet steak and on reflection I should have questioned the cut, it had grissle and didn’t look like a fillet

Staff are unbelievably kind and welcoming, we’ve eaten in plenty of beefeaters and by far this has been the best. 10/10 service 10/10 food Will 100% be making the drive back here even though it’s not our closest beefeater. Top service from Georgia and Gemma!

We absolutely love going out to Bentley green Beefeater! Such a lovely atmosphere and always get welcomed by the friendly staff! The food and service is absolutely amazing they never disappoint. Georgie our waitress is such a pleasant and caring young lady and always makes sure we are happy with our service! The lovely experience we have makes us always want to come back

The best chicken breast which i ever ate at the restaurant. Juicy and full of flavour. Drink was also delicious. Highly recommend.

Been tonight for a meal food was shocking service was poor and no atmosphere it was dead in there mom ask for salmon it came with no sauce no prawns and no veg asparagus turkey dinner was swimming in gravy prawn cocktail was ok wanted a pudding had the bill instead then the women started hoovering around we been going there for years never again hope peoples dinner Christmas day are better

Excellent food, Tracey paid special attention to detail with our food/order which is much appreciated anytime of the year let alone at Christmas time. Nice atmosphere and toilets clean.

Attended Sunday evening for an evening meal. On arrival resturant was very empty however we was told they may not have a table for us. We ordered food, it took a long time for it to arrive, when food arrived portions were small for the cost of the food. Waiter did not ask if we needed anything else, when we asked for some sauce she puffed at us, rolled her eyes and slapped her hands on her legs like we were asking too much! She then sent one of her colleagues back with the sauce about 5 minutes later! Steak was overcooked and had a lot of fat through it. Staff were very rude, not acomaditing and we would definitely not return. Did not have a present visit at all!

Atmosphere was lovely. The decorations for Christmas made it very festive. Gemma, our server was particularly wonderful! Very attentive and warm. Thank you for making our evening perfect! Merry Christmas! P.s dessert was amazing!

Great staff, good selection of drinks and newly changed menu. The chicken coated in crushed nachos was particularly good. We were served by Tammy who was really helpful and friendly. We will definitely return next time we stay at the premier inn next door.

Food took over 30 minutes to arrive after having to ask where it was. When it did arrive, it was just above luke warm. I had an odd stirring ball while my partner had a random pig in blanket. The gravy was like water and basically it tasted like a microwave meal.

I had fish and chips. The chips were ok. The fish was brown in colour and tasted funny.

Lara was my server, and she guided me through the menu. Suggesting possible desserts, which were amazing. I decided on the mint after eight sundae The gammon and chunky chips were also very good

Outside is unkempt but has plenty of seating on a grass area. Entering the pub was very different it was very smart clean modern and tidy. We were met my a cheerful tattooed waitress with a smile ten miles wide. Refills available on your coke. Our order was taken and it arrived very well presented. We had the steak egg and chips, also makani curry, rice chuckney and a popadom. It was fabulous very similar to a chicken balti. Recommended. Pudding was a cheese cake and ice cream again very nice. No queuing, only a few customers in at midday. We had refills, charged our mb and relaxed. Excellent! Highly recommended, don't let the outside appearance put you off. Will visit again soon. Toilets smart clean, fresh smelling. 👌

Excellent lunch with the kids. Excellent service from the ladies provided. Food was lovely piping hot and all in good time. 3 hours free parking just enter your car reg as soon as you walk in. Would 100% recommend to everyone.

Absolutely fantastic meal today, fillet steak medium rare, chips, and garden peas also had honey and mustard sauce, beer battered onion rings all served by Vicki who was rushed off her feet as it was busy but still had a massive smile on her face. Thanks again. I definitely recommend it to all.

Had a cheeky Friday lunchtime treat myself and my husband. Ashley is a lovely waitress so smiley and nothing is too much trouble for her. As I’m gluten intolerant fresh cutlery was bought out for me. Lovely food and service thanks Ashley and team 10/10

I ate the "beefeater combo" there. It was quite good and sufficient. The wait for the food was relatively short. The waitress "Georgie" was friendly, quick on her feet and very attentive. If the opportunity arises, I'll be back.

Went on the 21st October 2024 and it was a very pleasant evening. Our server Gemma was very pleasant and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. She was lovely. The 3 courses we had were all piping hot and very tasty. Would highly recommend.

Service was good. The pub was a good example of a Beefeater because it was clean, and seemed relatively new in its appearance.

Had lunch with friends and our little one. The staff were all very friendly. Tracey was our server, and she was very helpful and welcoming and was very interactive with our little one. Food was great and served in a reasonable time, drinks were also nice and Tracey was sure to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit

Came here for a family meal on Monday, we had a great time! Our lovely waitress Georgie was so attentive and made sure that we were happy at all times, top service! Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

Service very slow as we sat and watched our drinks being left for 40 mins un- delivered to table. Toilets dirty, 2 doors don't lock. Starter was burnt but main was lovely. We were going to have a desert but decided against it after poor service. This used to be so much better but gone down hill in the last year or so. Stacey is always lovely however and always happy to help.

Laura served me and was so kind. She was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying my meal. Thank you for making my dining experience so lovely ☺️

Came here last night for our uncles 70th Birthday meal. We were a group of 17. Table was a good size for 17 people and in a nice area of the restaurant. Service was very good and our waitress was friendly and organised. (I think her name was Grace). Orders were taken and I was very impressed that all food was served at the same time and all orders were correct. Everyone enjoyed their food. Me, my husband and our 2 daughters ordered: The rib and chicken combo Beef and ale pie 3 x starters of halloumi fries, nachos and breaded Mushrooms Kids burger meal. All food was fresh and tasty and we really enjoyed it. It was my first time here and I would definitely come here again. A nice atmosphere and the staff were very accommodating especially as we were the last ones to leave! We were advised in a friendly way to finish up our drinks as they had closed for the night. I could have easily stayed longer due to the nice atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening.

When we arrived the card reader was down. We had cash so continued for our meal. We had to ask for service after 40 minutes of us being there. One meal out of 8 was not cooked and brought with the other. Staff were apologetic about this and gave me a discount. Over all normally a lovely place to go but I do believe the were short staffed and trying to deal with card machine issues which cause the slow service. But I will return in the future

Met a friend here for tea as we used to work here years ago so like to come back our waitress Tammy was fantastic, will def be back.

All you can eat buffet style continental breakfast or pay extra and have all you can eat unlimited cooker ld breakfast such as sausage, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding etc with unlimited drinks like coffee, tea, juice, water etc and the unlimited continental such as toast, cereals, pastries, pancakes and more! with jams, butter, conserves, marmite etc just so much to choose from for such a good price. All fresh, cooked to order not a buffet and they'll cook whatever you want unlimited. Plenty of seating, toilets on site. Located next to the premier inn hotel. Free 3 hour parking as long as you register your car registration plate on the system as you walk in the entrance. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff just a nice place to visit as a family or with friends with great deals for food and drink

Not the best, long wait for food although it was very quiet Portion size for the price charged not good mine wasn't very warm, staff very friendly though. We had a 40 percent off voucher so it softened the blow but wouldn't of been happy paying full price for what we had we wouldn't return.

Been here a few times. Sadly, today 29th April 2022 the service was appalling. The food was fine, beautiful steak. Staff need to be more organised. 30th. August 2024. Had lunch with two friends. Everything much improved since my last post. No doubt will be going again soon👍

Often eat here, but today we came and bought family who were visiting. Service from Tracey was exceptional, very helpful, informative and patient with us. We all said how great the food and service was and will be back again in the near future.

We have been several times over the years! Food is always presented well, served hot! Staff are friendly and go above and beyond! Prices are reasonable too! Venue is always clean and tidy and we will continue to return!

When you run out of Vegan cheese, that makes most of your vegan options unavailable (like the two I wanted). Never mind though, saved myself £55 and got a free drink. Thanks (I think?). That's the reason why you were almost empty on BH Monday and 'spoons was packed I guess.

Been using this resturant for so many numerous years and the standard has never changed. All our family venues are celebrated here .Vicky our usual waitress always pleasant and helpful with the food. Lara serving the drinks plus all the other delightful girls that make up the team. And Stacie a very capable supervisor completes the team. Food is really tasty and we gauge other places when we eat out on holiday by the service and quality of bentley green.

Slow service, over priced food, burnt pizza as standard food apparently. No compensation for the wait of food. Wasted £50 when a normal pub meal elsewhere would have hit the mark at £20 with drinks. Very very disappointed. While the staff where polite it didn't reflect in the actual experience, service quality or money spent. I actually feel cheated. The burger and chips was okish but that's about it. Had to order a different kids meal which took some time to arrive. Was left fed up and wanting to leave in the end. The pizza is frozen and reheated. The food overall is of poor standard and quality.

Greeted by Laura, a really lovely, friendly, professional member of staff who showed us to our table and took our order. She had a really great attitude, which is very important to us as customer care attitude can make or break a stay/restaurant visit. The breakfast was delicious. Relaxed atmosphere and everything was perfectly cooked. Generally, the staff really are outstanding at this location, in the restaurant and the hotel. The location is perfect. We were travelling from Hertfordshire up to Cheshire, via the RAF Cosford Aircraft Museum with the family. The hotel is just off junction 10 of the M6 - SO convenient for a stay or just a comfort break and meal. Lots of free parking. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful, well designed place with a clearly presented menu and friendly staff. It was very hygienic and the food was beautiful, I had half a roast chicken with delicious fries. The only thing about it was that I ordered BBQ sauce with it expecting it to be smothered but it came in a pot on the side, I went at night so it was quiet but fairly well lit. Not a lot to complain about except for the price £58 four 4 of us! Fair enough beefeater!

Took someone out who I was caring for and had a breakfast and a hour later was bringing it all up. The staff were very lovely and helpful and the place was lovely but something wasn't right

Decent food. Haven't visited for a while. Only aspect I did not like was the initial area we were being taken to sit in - near the toilets is not the place when going to eat food. The response that other tables are booked was unexpected as I had booked too!

Fantastic place to visit for breakfast, especially with kids. 2 kids can eat with each full paying adult. This means that 2 children aged up to 16 can eat a full breakfast when an adult pays £10.99. The staff are always friendly, are understanding when my kids arrive early on a morning full of energy. Can't recommend enough.

Third time we've visited in the last few weeks. Food was lovely but service was a bit slow tonight even though they didn't appear to be overly busy.

The restaurant was empty around 9 o'clock in the morning, but the waitress said they are really busy and they don't have the possibility to serve the breakfast unless we booked a table in advance. And when I say "empty", I say our car was the third car in their carpark...

Staff polite and attentive , nice clean environment. Food not so great. We Ordered 2 fillet steaks, both medium rare and both came extremely well done. Not a great visit this time unfortunately.

Took a trip to Beefeater Bentley Green on Saturday 22 June 2024 for Lunch . . This visit was sandwiched in between a 'Father & Son Special' morning of Karting in Litchfield, and afternoon of energetic fun & exercise @ Ninja Warrior Walsall 😊 (while mummy had to work) 😔 Our meals were absolutely superb . . and the service received from our host (Laura) was second to none - with her being so knowledgeable and polite. Thank you Laura, Chef & Staff for making our visit so memorable. We hope to visit again 'real soon.

Food was brilliant, the lady Gemma who sorted us out the whole night was lovely. My daughter took a shining too her!! Would recommend to other people!!

Couldn't fault it mine and my partners food was brilliant not a bad waiting time for food or drinks and the service was excellent from Bailey. Would recommend to anyone.
