A small group of us went for some roast/bbq meet! The food was really good and the atmosphere was vibrant and lively. Service was really friendly. We found really interesting the concept that all drinks and products in the Ben's House are locally sourced!

I come to this coffee shop every week for a short break with a slice of cake. Ben is super nice and he is very talkative. Coffee is good. I recommended piccolo or dirty coffee if you want something different to Starbucks!

This magical place is just down the road from my workplace, and it is my midweek treat going in there and getting a delicious coffee to start my day. The staff are so nice and friendly, there's always great tunes playing and it has a great atmosphere. An extra special treat is when they sometimes have free samples of brownie on the counter, which is delicious.

Coffee shops in London could learn a thing or two from this place. It has magical feel when you enter, mostly because your treated like family as soon as the staff notice you. However its not just the service that rocks! The coffee is in a class of its own, locally sourced (that's the mantra of this shop) and well crafted! A new favourite of mine!

I was absolutely delighted to discover this place on my last trip to London - so very different from what you'd normally find in that area! I loved the variety of baked goodies, including gluten-free and paleo options (the flour-free chocolate cake is delightful!) and browsed the shop offerings, which are local, fun and seem delicious (and would make great presents for Londoners and non-Londoners alike). The staff are super friendly and Ben is great! I also liked the decor of the place - the long wooden top table (that can both encourage you to talk to other customers or to simply enjoy your book over a cup of coffee), the cube chairs, the shelves displaying the goods on offer. So next time you're in need of a coffee or are thinking of an original souvenir from London, drop by Ben's House and have a great time!

So me and my friend came here because we liked the look of this place from the outside. They were quick to serve & they were friendly. The cakes looked good.We ordered an almond milk latte, english breakfast tea, red velvet & oreo cake. The oreo cake was the star! It was delicious. The red velvet cake was rather disgusting. The cream cheese icing really needs to be a bit less cheesy and the cake was dry and the red food colouring wasn't mixed in properly so it was like half red and half orange/brown colour.Tea & latte was okay. Would have preferred a teapot of tea but a cup of tea is fine by me. I told the waitress that the popcorn toppings they were selling were past their expiry date (quietly). She was a bit horrified, apologised and took the entire basket away from the table. It was only expired by a couple of days but they shouldn't be on sale at all. I wonder what else they are selling which are out of date. The music was a bit too loud.

Friendly neighbourhood pub - good selection of beers and have started doing good food again! Outside area is great on a warm day - generally tends to be a good atmosphere.

We loved our lunch at Carrots and Daikon yesterday. I had the garlic tofu Banh mi and my husband had the tofu lunch box. The baguette forming my Banh mi was the perfect combination of crunch with a soft centre and the tofu was nicely garlicky. What really made our day were the ice creams! The chrysanthemum and mango ice cream was such a fantastic combination and the matcha and pistachio was delicious too. We then bought one of each of the other flavours and I must admit that the combinations are creative genius! Who would’ve thought that mint choc chip would go with coffee and raspberry and jasmine tea with its floral notes would hit the spot?! I thought that the coconut and lemongrass was super refreshing too. Thank you to the friendly folk at C & D.

Opened last year or early this year..very pleasant and airy bar / cafe, which if you're arriving early for a meeting or finishing early, is a nice place to chew over the errors in your recent ritual meeting! As usual in London all a bit pricey but very convenient after a meeting in the Temples. Very bright and tastefully decorated with the usual good staff.
