Benny Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway in Stockport

We have had several takeaways from here. Always lovely and large portions. I would highly recommend a visit. Can’t wait for our next visit

Salt&pepper ribs overcooked dry and flavorless Chicken pumped with water making the chicken rubbery and salty Please think about ordering or getting a quality takeaway.

Love chicken noodle soup we ask for less noodles and extra green chilli the Sui mai is good as are duck or pork pancakes we have thin noodles and bean sprouts and the blackbeen sauce chicken delicious

Best Chinese I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve had many). Crispy chilli beef, chicken and mushroom, salt and pepper chips and Japanese katsu chicken with a few generous freebies thrown in! Would recommend.

Can say this is a new found family fave! Accurate delivery time, freebies thrown in, beautiful food! Hands down the best Chinese we've had in a while! (THAI Green curry was also insane, having been to Thailand can say its very authentic!)

This is our go-to Chinese takeaway. They do free delivery and the whole family can find something they enjoy from here. Great, authentic Chinese food.

Comida de aquí siempre es genial nunca nos decepciona. Siempre muy fresco y sabe muy bien. Valor añadido es el extras gratis que reciba si pasas + £15 o £20 +. La única pega es el tiempo de entrega puede ser a veces más de 1 horas 30 minutos. Aparte de que Benny's es un gran lugar para una comida para llevar.

Ordered a take away for the family and specifically said no pork in any of the dishes. The food is usually ok but they gave a free dish, which we assumed had no pork in it. The free dish was salt and pepper porky spare ribs, which we only realised once we started eating the dish. I phoned them up to complain as we do not eat pork to be told it was a free dish so they didn't think it was relevant. So had said I don't eat nuts, this would not apply to free dishes! Bitterly disappointed by the error and their attitude. Won't be back.

Always order from Benny's and the food is fantastic. Only today I made an order on route home via Just Eat which went through ok. 2 minutes from home, looking forward to my order only to get a message saying Benny's had cancelled my order possibly due to being to busy. I drove past to see one customer in the shop paying and a bag in his hand! Not impressed and will consider using another Chinese from now on.

We are regular customers at Bennys and I can honestly say that we have never had a bad meal. The service is fantastic and the food is delicious. Highly recommended.

Food is usually of standard quality. Order has been wrong on a few occasions. Chicken curry isnt nice but apart from that bennys is ok.

Made a order tonight however the salt & pepper squid was very poor, too much batter and was very chewy. We called to notify the quality of this dish and the manager replied "it was made 2 days ago" we also ask the question if they actually sample there dishes before despatching to there customers he said that the chief does. If the quality was this poor why was it still allowed to leave the kitchen. This will be the last time we will have any confidence in this take away so we won't be coming back.

We have a Benies most Saturday night the chicken noodle soup and they will put in extra green chilli if you wish to spice up any dish. The duck pancakes are a regular treat as is the Siu Mai . A great little takeaway.

Very nice experience all round. A pleasant phone call with an adaptable manner. And then lovely food, hot, tasty and ready on time. Had the banquet for 2... And it fed 3 of us for a big meal then my husband for 2 days on leftovers!!

Always nice always hot food . Really like bennys for being consistent and tasty. Especially like the dumplings and ribs. Curry is nice and spicy and plenty of it

Tried a different Chinese take out however the dishes had little sauce when usually the sauce is the best bit not the best Chinese we've had

visit here often,excellent food,service and very reasonable prices .staff are lovely and always welcome you with a smile

This was my first time trying Bennys. The staff where polite and friendly enough even though a little slow on the service time. The food was not so good, in fact pretty terrible. The Thai green curry had a consistency of runny green water with slimy mushy chicken pieces, along with huge chunks of ginger. That was the only two solid ingredients in the dish along with one sprig of coriander. I also sampled the salt and chilli chicken, which should be re-named as salt and chilli batter as there was no chicken in sight. All in all a pretty poor experience and sadly I won't be giving it a second chance.

I used to like this Chinese. Unfortunately the service is terrible and after calling to let them know that they had given us the wrong food and overcharged us by giving us the wrong food, they were very unhelpful even though they excepted responsibility.! They said they could exchange the items but couldnt give us a time for delivery! Not the attitude for a regular customer. This is not the first time!!! I wont be using them again and I shall be telling everyone I can possibly tell.

Called in here by chance and was really impressed by the food. Really tasty homemade War Tip dumplings and great range of fresh veg in my Duck dish. If your in area I'd recommend you give it a try. Heard quite a few people phone to moan about delivery times, all I can say is if you want good food cooked to order what's a little time?

Really liked their Foo Yung and the portions are great, tasty food served quickly and their takeaway service is fast too. Friendly service and a wide range of options on the menu, only bad point is not enough vegetarian options.

We were extremely disappointed with the meal ordered. The order was incomplete, and when we called to inform the restaurant, they laughed!!! I had to insist the order was made complete, with the missing item! We collected the food, by which time the rest of the order was cold. There was no apology. Very poor attitude, and level of customer service. Won't be using this restaurant again.
