Absolutely STAY AWAY!!! Use to be our favourite until our food turned up smelling like sour vomit. Called up to let them know and offered the curry back in exchange for a new one to be told to get a refund from Just Eat and now we have no refund from Just Eat even though we provided photographic proof of us scraping £20 into our bin. We suggested to the owner it could the cream that is out of date in which he told us he had put the cream in the bin after checking the date.

Good experience wish on just eat they would have some more photos of the food but genuinely one of the best takeaways I’ve had in a long time, very kind as well as I was having a very bad day and they added some rice bless them, made my night 100% better will be ordering again :P

Disappointed. Appreciate we ordered a naan chicken tikka wrap, chicken pakora and seasoned doner with spices (I’m sure the curry is lovely, we just wanted something light and snacky). However these were all absolutely abysmal. The chicken pakora was shocking. Cheap breadcrumbs that left an awful aftertaste. The wrap was incredibly poor, had miles better from non Indian takeaways so really disappointed, flavourless chicken with no sauce and only sliced onion. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Second time ordering and was to the same really good standard. Salad portion could be bigger and only received 1 prawn in the special mixed grill starter otherwise it would have been 5star.

It hasn’t been delivered. I’ve waited an hour and a half for delivery, the app is saying it’s been delivered and it hasn’t been, I’ve rang the restaurant he hardly spoke any English he said my order will be 5/10 minutes, it’s still not arrived??????!

Beautiful food but wasn’t the warmest, over an hour late from original stated time. Rang the shop a couple of times just to check it was out for delivery/on way and one person said was on way and another was very rude and hung up! Not very professional or kind. Unsure whether will order again or find another that is more appreciative of customers.

Usually very good quality and prompt delivery, unfortunately this time there were some issues. The food was delivered late, no mint sauce was included with my onion bhaji and no salad that we normally have included with our main course. Also the chips were only warm and quite hard. Hopefully this was a one off but I will look for improvements next time we order.

The worst curry I've had in a long time, if ever. short changed also.

when your food comes scorching hot, you know its going to be good. Perfectly on time. Only thing I would say is not enough chicken in the massala. A lot of sauce which makes it look like a decent portion but only had about 4 pieces of chicken in there between 2 people. It wasn't filling and usually these meals fill me up really quickly.

Usually really nice from here but tonight it was all freezing cold, poppadoms soggy and chicken pakoras were tasteless the chips also weren't great

Cheesy chips felt like they were a few days old, not fresh. the cheese was the worse type of cheese you can get (plastic cheese) and the chips were not even seasoned. The vegetable Samosas were great!

As a loyal customer since these were on Gladstone Street, loyal for about four years. Today was the final straw. The food is freezing cold, tastes horrible. When you recommended somewhere and go to a friends house and order it’s even worse! Just terrible food, service, delivery last four months been getting worse and worse

Negatives out the way first, the food took an hour and 15 mins to come which was quite long we thought. And sadly our drinks were missing but after waiting so long I didn’t fancy ringing and waiting ages again for some cans of pop. Right now that’s out the way- I think this is our new favourite Indian!! Despite the wait time the food was absolutely stunning, not greasy, no dodgy bits of chicken, all fresh, piping hot, absolutely beautiful and put our regular to shame! We will 10000% be back

Pleasantly surprised. Normally go for more reviews + stars. This had good stars but not as many reviews. Ordered small dinner for one. Chicken tikka masala, poppadoms, peshwari naan & chips. Everything tasted spot on & received extra poppadoms and sauce. Would recommend 👍🏽

Chicken tikka and keema rice was fine but found the jalfrezi very bland compared to other Indian restaurants I’ve eaten at in Darlington. Opted for here because they had an offer on, but very unlikely to order again.

Chicken tikka was cold and in the madras and a piece had grizzle in it. They also forgot the dips and they said they they would come back with them which they did not. Lost my custom now.

I ordered Shatkora (citrus) with lamb curry bt flavour wasn’t good, i found some tamotoes but there was no real flavour of shatkora, i ate shatkora in sylhet bt this flavour is quite different than the real shatkora

Ladies & Gents, I can say for certain that this is the second best Indian takeaway I have ever had in my 27 years on this earth. The first you might add? A curry house in the village of Annan, Scotland (long story) but this is a very very close competitor. The chicken tikka masala was absolutely sublime, best I’ve had. Keema naan was out of this world, with plenty of meat, and finally, the egg fried rice was next level. Thank you, if you could receive a Michelin star I wouldn’t be surprised.
