We were at the bar, not at the hotel. The establishment was really funny, it felt like Disney. The waiter was very nice, the desserts ok, but the drinks really weren't great

Handy location. Lively atmosphere. Food was disappointing - frustrating experience dealing with food intolerance due to errors despite having pre-ordered ahead of time. Fine for drinks but wouldn't recommend it for food for anybody with allergy/intolerance.

Stayed here a few times and never had a complaint rooms are great food is brilliant and depending how busy the bar gets normally have no problem getting served.

Great location for walking to and from the city center. It has a few car spots outside it but not a lot. Food was great

Bit of a dining disaster. Food was ok though what turned up was a bit random. Prices reasonable, the real issue was that when we raised concerns about luke warm food, incorrect orders and missing food and drinks, the attitude of the manager on duty was awful. Rather than apologising and offering to make good, effectively an argument ensued. We left. Won’t be back.

Do not go to this restaurant. we went to the restaurant thursday the 19th of december, there was 9 of us for a graduation dinner. We had booked in advance for the graduation menu that comes up on google, however they do not do their graduation menu in winter. When we had booked for it they had not told us this, however the manager came up to the table and apologised he was lovely. When we had ordered drinks the waitress got it wrong, now we all know everyone makes mistakes but she also got the food order wrong, there was food missing off our plates and two dinners were cold and there was no apology, no trying to solve the situation just had an arsey attitude. We had asked for the manager as we knew he was lovely but we ended getting the assistant manager. She clearly has no experience on how to deal with problems, she gave us no apologies her attitude was appalling, at one point she was in my brother in laws face and my sister asked for her to get out of his face, still no apology. So we had asked for the bill without getting deserts or anything else and the assistant manager practically threw it down on the table. Would really not recommend going to this restaurant, the assistant manager needs fired immediately!

Had a Christmas work function, over priced , far too many people and not enough staff, service for food and drink being very poor. Christmas turkey was nice, the desert was very poor quality, microwaved Christmas "log" that wasnt a log and few "splashes" of custard.

Now the food was nice but come on I asked for a small tube off peppercorn sauce which I would have payed for no problem but I felt the staff couldn't be annoyed another problem I had as a barman myself the bar was very what's happing here slow and start as bar man I would run rings around ur bar staff no problem

Had our works xmas dinner 2nd Dec and would just like to thank all the staff we had a great welcome . The service was brilliant our meals were perfect and at the end of the meal we got complimentary cocktail and a shot which I thought was a lovely gesture. We then went down stairs for the entertainment everyone had a great time thanks again x

Just had a fab stay at the Benedict. It is a lovely hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, what makes it very special is the staff. From the minute we arrived, we were given such a warm welcome and everyone took such lovely care of us during our stay. We enjoyed food in both the bar and the restaurant, really great food and wonderful service. It is near attractions like City Hall, the Christmas Markets, shopping centres (we walked, took us about 15 minutes). Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay a great one!

The staff were excellent and nothing was too much troublel. Food was served exactly as requested regarding the steak🎄. We will definitely be returning. I'm getting hungry now just thinking of our wonderful meal.👏👏

We booked a Christmas dinner here recently for 13 people and had the best night, service was outstanding, food was beautiful, we got complimentary cocktail each and the person that organised it got a thank you voucher to spend at the hotel. Couldn’t fault service, atmosphere or banter with staff.

Sundays in the bar in this place are unbelievable 👌 have a fantastic couple of djs on and the atmosphere is brilliant highly recommended 👌

Went for the unlimited brunch and can't recommend enough. Food was amazing, portions were huge. The drinks kept coming without having to call staff over. Staff all very friendly. Sax player was a bonus! Will definately book again soon.

Always have a great night here, can get busy at weekends, but plenty of bar staff so always get served quick enough. cocktails are great. Never stayed over so can't rate the rooms.

Came here for food and drinks on a Monday night so it was pretty quiet. The staff were great in both the restaurant and bar always attended to if needed something. Food was amazing I had the steak & fries and my peers had the chicken stack and the burger not one of us could fault our meals. The drinks were made perfectly and there’s some interesting ones to try! Would definitely come back.

This is a little gem of a boutique hotel located near the university District. We loved the traditional Irish decor throughout the hotel- Dark wood paneling, beautiful Stainglass windows. What really makes this hotel is the staff. Kelly and Martin were incredible. They assisted us through a medical crisis with professionalism, compassion, and ongoing support. Thank you so much! You both went above and beyond! The hotel room is a generous size. As this is a older hotel the electrical and plumbing does require some patience. The was bed comfortable. We really enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Lots of variety on the menu. Our nightly room rating included breakfast which was a great value! This is a lively hotel with an active bar and pub nightlife so you may want to ask for a room on the top floor at the back. The hotel is a manageable distance to the Europa bus station to get to the airport or to Dublin and/or Dublin airport. Taxi required to the Titanic exhibit.

Por lo general Benedicts siempre es genial para la comida, desafortunadamente no esta vez. Fuimos el viernes por la noche y nos dieron la copa de vino pedida de dos platos de £ 21 cuando llegó la copa tenía lápiz labial y estaba tan sucia que me sorprende que no se dieran cuenta de que cuando trajeron el vino a la barra dijo que la copa estaba sucia y él respondió ‘oh, así es’, ¡no hay disculpas ni nada! Luego a nuestra comida comencé con la ciabatta de ajo cursi que cuando llegó era una baguette de ajo no ciabatta al respecto no muy aficionada a la baguette ya que puedo conseguir esto en spar local por lo que menú necesitaría actualizarse. Para mi plato principal me dieron pila de pollo salpimentado... el campeón era grumoso y el pollo había sido vanidoso durante todo el tiempo se comió 2 pedazos hasta que vi esto, así que no se terminó, ¡como me desanimé! Se destripó que el filete donde se pueden añadir gambas y la salsa de crema de chorizo se tomó del menú también como estaba tan bueno : ( El gerente de turno era encantador, creo que era un gerente con camisa negra sin corbata, ya que cuando nos fuimos nos dieron una tarjeta de comentarios como había mencionado son camarero aiden siendo muy amable y trabajando en la hospitalidad de mí mismo toda mi vida es bueno ser atendido por alguien servicial y amable. Sigue así los chicos del buen trabajo defo aún volverán y eso es gracias al personal y esperemos que la próxima vez la comida sea mejor : )

Nos alojamos en Benedicts frid a lunes , la comida es un 10 / 10 , el personal es amable y servicial, nuestro único problema era un inodoro de descarga pobre o esto habría sido 5 estrellas . Esperamos volver pronto.

Primera vez aquí y muy impresionado de hecho. Todo el personal era muy acogedor y servicial. La comida era deliciosa y servida muy rápidamente - cada bocado de bacalao al horno, pilas de pollo y carne asada fue saboreado. No podría fallar este lugar y sin duda volvería si volviera a Belfast!

I could not fault benedicks. Best price room with an incredible breakfast and complimentary drink as bonus. The staff were polite, helpful and welcoming. Great location. Good views. The rooms are huge, there's everything you could possibly need, impeccably clean and very comfortable. There's even noise cancelling screens on the windows n earplugs! The only downfall was the heat, a complete sweat box, but they know this and provide a much appreciated high quality fan so it's not awful. We will 100% be staying here every time we visit Belfast.

Día del Padre. Reservado para las 12 horas (1 calle a través de la puerta). Saludados y sentados sin problemas, atentos a las bebidas, etc, habíamos pedido y pagado por bebidas en el bar mientras esperaba a otros, pero otro miembro de la familia pidió una bebida en la mesa que tuvimos que recordar después de 10 minutos. Pasaron otros 10 minutos y al final tuve que ir al bar y no sabían nada de ello! Los entrantes llegaron lo suficientemente rápido y estaba bien, nada especial. El problema era la principal, nada durante casi 45 minutos después de comenzar quitado, de nuevo como la bebida que tuvimos que preguntar por qué retrasado, la principal llegó poco después, pero decepcionado de nuevo, el puré estaba frío con el pavo y el jamón y tuvo que enviar 3 principales de vuelta, las patatas fritas eran solo patatas 'McDonald's flacas que eran disquetes y frío. Muy decepcionado dado el gran comienzo de la reserva. No volverá.

From the moment we walked in, Charlotte at the front desk was a gem! So incredibly kind and sweet. The room was decent size and loved that they had a fan ready for us. The wait staff was top notch. Adam, Kevin, and Lauren took great care of us and made meals great. Breakfast was delicious and the one dinner we had was fantastic. Will absolutely stay here again.

Pedí pollo con chile salado para empezar. Fue terrible, sólo pollo que se vino abajo cuando traté de recogerlo con tenedor. Sin verduras ni chile salado. El plato principal estaba frío. El té después estaba frío. No puedo calificar esta comida lo suficientemente mal como para reflejar lo mala que fue. El personal era agradable.

Meal for 10 Food was good Atmosphere was pleasant Live music in the bar later in the evening which was played through the speakers in the restaurant A good mix of tunes all sung in tune Service was slow but all else hit the mark Our main server Alan was very good Only one little problem They couldn't get one of our wine orders correct and twice they brought the wrong choice They did offer to change the first one but the customer chose not to as the bottle was open and the second time the waiter obviously thought the customer was asking for the original order but actually asked for a specific desert wine. Over all it was a good night

Came here with my partner’s family as they invited us out for a bottomless brunch on the Saturday. Everything was peaceful for around 25 minutes, until someone turned up the music. Our table was right next to the speaker and It personally ruined the experience for me. Staff were hard to get a hold of as they run around like headless chickens, while we wait patiently for our next round of drinks. However, the daiquiris were really nice as well. Moving onto the food, the chicken Katsu curry was bland and a miss for my appetite. The chicken felt just warm enough to eat and the sauce was unseasoned. All in all it was an okay experience at the time for who i experienced it with and not the staff trying to slowly ruin the moment. (Besides the sax man, he was actually really cool keep it up!)

The mash was very lumpy the chips were hard and undercooked the steak I asked for medium it was seriously over cooked as in pretty much burned the beer was nice on the plus sid

Absolutely terrible stay I suffer with ms and wasn’t told that there was builders right at my window and started working and banging at 7am I have to take a sleeper to sleep and because of the noise I couldn’t drive my car home and had to pay for taxi 135 I paid for this and had to leave 8am with no breakfast when rang to yell manger she was rude and didn’t care at all at that price I expect to have some Respect never again 135 pound to stay in a bed for few hours

Arrived late after a delayed flight. Was met by friendly staff, a very welcome room upgrade and complimentary drink. I've stayed in quite a few different places on previous visits, but now I've found the one I'll keep coming back to. Thanks.

The hotel was beautiful with an amazing room and the bed was so comfortable also clean rooms, the food was gorgeous with friendly staff in all parts especially the restaurant and residents bar. I cannot recommend this place enough close to everything needed 💯% staying here

I go most Sundays for the carvery as you see from my photo , just amazing, then a few pints as the band or group play , really enjoy a Sunday afternoon here

We came here with the family to suit everyone’s budget and we’ve been here before. The food on this occasion wasn’t great. Very busy and the staff were very pleasant.

We were struggling get somewhere booked for lunch but Benedicts were great and reserved us a table. There was a bus and train strike and we were delayed but they still kept the table for us. The staff were brilliant and very welcoming. The food was lovely and tasty. The starters, steak, Christmas dinners, chicken and desserts all went down very well. Everyone in Benedicts was very attentive and didn't pressurise us at all time wise. I would highly recommend it.

Great hotel experience on Sunday 10th December, we enjoyed our stay apart from when the DJ turned up the volume at 5.30 ish, we asked him to turn down the volume but he said it was controlled from behind the bar, is this a nightclub or a hotel bar?? Unbelievable noise level where we had to shout to one another

Were do we start! Arrived for a last minute over night stay on Monday 16th Oct, was offered the Monday Escape package, what a deal! Check in with Aine was fast and efficient. Got 2 drinks (literally anything you wanted). Our 4 course dinner was absolutely delicious in which there was no supplements, 😀 menu was outstanding and the nicest fillet steaks.. compliments to the chef, and large portions. Starters and desserts didn't disappoint either 😋 Service was exceptional and Aiden Donegan our waiter is a credit to your company... thanks Aiden for outstanding service and the bit of craic! Bar was such a good atmosphere, entertainment was perfect! Breakfast was also exceptional, alongside amazing service again from Kevin, Aine and Adam! Rooms spotless clean and warm! Have already booked our next Monday Escape package for November and look forward to seeing all the team again then!

Can’t beat this place for food and drinks. We come very regularly and rate it 10/10 all the time. Staff are great food is fantastic never a bad meal. The menu is always great always a good selection to choose from. I love the salted chilli chicken but also a Sunday roast is unreal.

I have been here a few times for dinner in the restaurant upstairs which was absolutely gorgeous. But on this occasion we got the carvery Sunday lunch and oh my goodness. The food was so fresh, the service was excellent and it was definitely an affordable price. Cocktails are also amazing (especially at happy hour)

Good location for wqlking distance to Ormeau ParkBelsonic. A good sized room with a fan on the second floor. The room smelled of chips on every occasion we came into the room , it’s was overlooking the beer garden not sure is the kitchen is located near but definitely smelled of frying /chips . No mini fridge in the room. Breakfast disappointment orange juice had run out and wasn’t replenished, the full fry was only one sausage, one piece of bacon, soda bread, potato bread and a hash brown and choice of egg! I’d have expected 2 sausages and bacon! Got ready to go to the bar on our return from a concert but the DJ was playing the music so loud it was deafening!!! We had to leave and return to our room!

Went over the weekend for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised how good it was. Staff were very friendly and price reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Was there last night food was amazing and music was brilliant there was two members of the bar staff that stood out Jordan and Rachel were brilliant especially Jordan he went above and beyond to make sure we where happy 😊 will definitely be back

Popped in for a drink as just arrived in town. For a Tuesday night, surprised to see the bar was so busy with groups of young locals enjoying themselves. Cocktails are cheaper before 10pm. There was also a singer with a guitar belting out a lot of sing along favourites. There was a nice atmosphere. We ended up staying much longer than we planned.

Really enjoyed our food here, was quick service, and food was 1st class. Thankyou Our waiter Sol was amazing and was very good , which made it even better . Thankyou Will definitely be back 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
