Starbucks in Belfast

Really large Starbucks very clean lovely staff.

Didn't try food so can't comment but seen it and it looked simple but good.

F I L T H Y Walking into this Starbucks felt less like entering a coffee shop and more like stepping onto the set of a low-budget Dickensian drama—sticky tables, scattered debris, and a floor that could double as an archaeological dig site. The staff, meanwhile, exuded the warmth of a Victorian governess scolding a child for sneezing. If this is where corporate America’s promise of community and caffeine has landed, I fear we’re all one latte away from outright dystopia - or dyssentery.

Not clean, plenty off staff, and no service. Sub standard

Easy parking, good location. Has all the staple Starbucks treats, not much different from any other starbucks. Does have a drive through though, which is handy when in rush!

Normally go to Starbucks in Bangor and unfortunately this one was worlds apart. Was planning to sit in but the place looked dirty. It was loud and uninviting. Drinks arrived but with no topping or sauce. Asked for toppings and sauce to be added and only got the toppings. Drinks didn’t taste as nice as usual. Won’t be back.

ordered a frappe and traybake, the cup holder was in the bag but no drink and the bag that the tray bake was in was open. totally disgraceful! re-ordered the drink .. which ended up costing 2 deliveries!

Ad a last minute opportunity to call in for a coffee after a meeting, at 830pm. Nice and quiet atmosphere- just the way to wing down. Staff were friendly, and helpful with choices.

Staff serving was so unengaged, hanging over the till. Service was so poor and the atmosphere awful. Young teens screaming in the cafe and asked to leave by staff member. They continued to scream as they left. Terrible place. C

Staff where incredibly rude and sharp , Me and my father walk in and the staff where rude . We where ordering and staff were so rude we just decided to cancel our order and go next door to Tim’s

I was ordering a hot chocolate and specifically told the worker I do not want to use my reward on my app. She took my order and already clicked to use my reward. She did this before asking me if I want to use my reward which left me unhappy as they couldn't do anything to reverse it and did not try to find any solution. She should have asked me before doing the reward thing.

Dirty,sit in drinks in paper cups asked for a mug scooped of cream and poured into a mug ,will never be back

After looking at the menu for a few minutes 2 staff stood and ignored me ...1 standing doing nothing and the other cleaning trays... ended up walking out ... won't be back

I ordered a mocha frappuccino with a decaf espresso and oat shaken brown sugar espresso. The staff were direct and blunt when collecting our drinks from the drive thru. Which is what you would expect at 11pm. My brother and I tried our drink and the brown sugar drink was fine but mocha was dreadful. If someone had roasted and ground shoe leather it could not have come close to this drink. I drove through the drive thru again since Starbucks is overpriced as it is so I atleast want something palatable. I asked to come to the window. They refused and requested I tell them the problem. I said that the coffee machine may need cleaning or the coffee was burnt as the drink tasted disgusting. She asked for the drink name and said okay she would see me at the window. I went to the window and was met by nobody. They had started making the drink again despite not asking me if I wished to have the same. Side note: as their coffee machine was likely the issue and couldn't be cleaned quickly, I wanted something else. They gave me the drink and didn't not apologise. The drink again was atrocious and they closed the window so I couldn't resolve the matter. I left it as the staff are obviously poorly trained in interpersonal skills and making coffee. I realise it's a tiring and thankless job but the level of animosity from them escalated an easily resolvable situation. Management please look into training your staff properly. Visited 11pm 5/9/24.

loved the hot cheese and ham croissant, first time I've ordered it. Was hoping for my (whispers) pumpkin spice as advertised but not available in Connswater store

Extremely rude staff. I had my chihuahua with me and I have anxiety as well as there no signs saying dogs aren’t allowed (not leaving him tied up outside, that’s how they get nicked). Barista made a big deal and no reasoning or listening. Won’t be back

Please don't lie about your opening hours (edit: it previously said open 24h), people rely on this information being accurate on Google.

Absolutely vile. I paid for an extra shot of expresso should of been 3 in total and it taste like a cup of sugary milk. You can even tell by the colour of it there is barely any coffee in it, so it shouldn’t of been sent out absolute joke, tenner for one coffee and its watery, sugary milk.

Coffee good, service as to be expected. Atmosphere, a little loud. Decided to take coffee out.

It would be helpful if correct hours are advertised (connswater). If it is drive thru that is 24 hr and the store closes at 9 that needs to be made clear as we were very bluntly told they were closing when we thought we a lot longer.

Went to Starbucks asked for a skinny latte had to bring it back got another one it still just tasted on milk didn’t bother taking it back as they mustn’t know how to make skinny lattes. Very disappointed as this is the first time I had a problem with it.

Went to Starbucks Connswater. The place ia absolutely disgusting. We sat outside as we had our dog with us. Outside where their tables are. The cigarette buts thatt were lying there was ridiculous Must have been there for a week. Place was disgusting.

It's just an OK place no real atmosphere at all could be anywhere. Adding to this review: Why does their front door open out. Usually I have a pram with me and very few times does anyone offer to help me open the door; I go in backwards and struggle to get in. Only my nephew loves the biscuits I wouldn't bother. Still needs a clean!

We went to drive service this morning. Girl was rude, no smile in her face. No approachable etc .. never come back there again.

Son threw litter out of car window thinking no one could see. Driver was apologetic and picked up all their rubbish. Food and drink great but disappointed by this delivery experience.

Very spacious sit in area with relaxed atmosphere. I even noticed they have PIPS (suicide prevention charity) befrienders that come every week! Brilliant idea! 👌⭐️

The Connswater Starbucks is large and the staff is friendly.

Great location, big, quick and friendly service. Just knocked a bit off the food because they didn't have the gluten free sandwiches in stock, but otherwise a big selection of everything else for the gluten folk!

If you ask for a coffee to sit in. It us not unreasonable to expect it in a ceramic or glass cup. To go, in carton type that's fine .

placed order on just eat. one drink never arrived due to no coconut milk. sent 2 buns instead. rang shop and the supervisor was extremely unpleasent and rude. Have suspicions she turned off delivery on just eat as i had to call back and ask why i couldnt re order on the app. she told me she was away to check and when she came back it was turned on and only then it said no coconut milk. she also said she tried to contact me but i had no missed calls and number is correct on my profile. service is a joke. wont be back. lost a very valuable customer.

Place empty , 5 staff standing talking to each other , girl put a cup on the counter and walked away without saying anything , had to ask was this my drink , answered yes and walked away , not great service at all 13-04-2024 @ 1pm

Spacious and nice with great service and lots of options as always at Starbucks.

Third time they forgot to add milk to my coffee while using the drive through. The wee sticker on the cup shows the line for milk so the order was taken correct but they just never put any in. Total pain as it’s early morning and using drive through so don’t usually look inside to check and get a nasty surprise ten mins later when I go to take the first sip.

Live 15-20mins away food was stone cold, drinks were melted

went on Tuesday 5th December with a friend to study. bare in mind we have been coming here to study for years for exams. Anyways, bought a hot choc and started revising. Got companied by an ‘employee’ who claimed she worked here but was in normal clothes and also was sat with a laptop. Said in a very unfriendly tone that we can’t sit here if we didn’t buy anything , as the hot chocolate mug was sitting on the desk… then continued to kick my friend out for eating something small from Tim Hortons , bare in mind again if the food options were better in Starbucks , she wouldn’t of had to go to Tim Hortons to buy food. absolutely disgusted by the ‘ staff’ in here do better starbucks.

Order placed at 20:55, expected by 21:30. Kind of gave up and was somewhat surprised when the door knocked at 22:10

On Sunday morning the cue of the drive-through was very long. Went inside to get a quick coffee and got mine within 5 min. Would recommend just walking in when the line is too long.

Tracked driver who left Connswater and was seen in the City Centre. My house is before city centre. My drink was melted and the hot drink was cold. Driver should have delivered my order withing 5 to 8 mins as not far from Starbucks.

My apologies for this totally negative review. I left my wife to order coffee while I went to another store. Met with wife, who by this time had been queuing for nearly 15 minutes. 15 minutes later we where still queuing. Seems the staff where catering for the drive through custom as a priority. It was busy, this I admit, there were 8 staff members that I counted. Not faultng their work ethic, they were all rushed off their feet. After 30 minutes we left with no coffee. There were 6 people waiting for their orders after they had ordered. God knows how long our total wait would have been. Starbucks, get your act together. Sad to say this is our last visit to any Starbucks.

I am extremely unhappy with this order, 1 it came and was absolutely freezing and 2, two of the drinks were damaged and half empty but the stage we received these! Extremely unhappy with this order and delivery.

No complaints about the drinks or staff they’re always nice but pleaseeee clean the place! Sat in on a quiet Sunday after a run and couldn’t bare to sit down on the sofas, they were absolutely filthy. I think Starbucks should regularly have the upholstery properly cleaned because it’s really disgusting looking and unsanitary. The place in general needs to be kept cleaner but those sofas were disgusting.

I don't drink coffee. It's overpriced run of the mill cafe. I wouldn't recommend it. Same old poseurs drinking same old bilge water.

The driver was very rude called me disabled

My husband goes regularly to the drive thu - my order is skinny one shot latte - I would say every other order is made 2 shot - This is too strong for me - currently drinking a two shot I have had to add a load of milk to make it drinkable - rather a pity as now cold - very little froth and I am mad as this is too expensive a coffee not to be made correctly. Starbucks you need to up your quality control / one in two drinks not made right is too high a fail rate

Ordered a pumpkin spice iced latte in the drive through yet received a plain iced latte. Only discovered this when I arrived home and safe to say, it was a bad day.

The label had come off and also spilt down the sides. One of the drinks were right. The other one completely wrong.

Very disappointed with customer service, server had severe attitude problem and didn’t make my experience enjoyable at all. Came with my grandparents and the server was very ignorant. Won’t be back

Are yous having a laugh,bought a tuna slimbo and the picture showed a nice sandwich,in reality I had to open sandwich up as I couldn't see the ingredients the tuna looked like it was buttered on and 3 skimpy bits of cucumber and a we bit of onion a waste of £4

I wrote a pretty bad review of this place years ago and vowed never to come back. Today i made that mistake - more fool me. Staff everywhere but no one taking an order. When i finally did manage to order, i got my drink but no one would hand me the pastry I'd ordered, prefering instead to avoid my gaze or direct me elsewhere. After several minutes of being ignored, I made for the counter myself and this did illicit a response thankfully. I pointed out to the girl who eventually fed me that the place was a shambles. Well that will do me now for another few years, I remember now why I always go to tim horton.

normally LOVE the drive through and the people working so friendly and upbeat. Tonight the girl was so odd on speaker- got my order wrong which i didn’t mind went in and said i’d asked for soy milk and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. asked for decaf because it was 9pm and now it’s 2am and i realised they got my order wrong the second time.

Even though the restaurant is 24 hours, they LOVE to cancel your order (or accept it but not send it, even if it says it’s on the way) if you order any later than 7pm. 24 hour restaurant tho! Lol

Only this Starbucks I have this issue with repeatedly lol if I said NO CREAM, I mean NO CREAM and if you put cream on it, I'm just gonna get to the window & ask you to remake it, not just "wipe it off" lol I don't want cream near my drink - why do the staff love giving themselves more work and inconveniencing menwith the same mistake EVERY SINGLE time? Just don't put cream on it, like I asked. And then they try and make me feel like a Karen for asking it to be remade lol nah, asking for no cream and expecting it to be made correctly is NOT BEING ENTITLTED - do better please.

Coffees where great and on time but the delivery man was very rude. Said he had issues contacting my number because it was from the south of Ireland although I have never had that issue before with numerous orders.

Went to starbies as we usually would at least twice weekly, ordered a Peach iced tea and Cheese and Ham toastie. At the drive thru window I was served by a lovely guy who had actually complimented on the fact I was polite to the lady taking my order on drive thru. I have always had positive experiences when visiting this store but more so today. So thank you to whoever you where and thank you all for continuing to work so hard to provide the greatest starbies to us all🥰

Coffee came spilt all over the delivery guys car and everything else it was uneatable !

Meant to arrive at 1pm then told it would be late, arrived at half 2pm and the drink had no coffee in it.

Ordered an all day panini and I got half a slice of bacon, quarter of a sausage and half an egg. Not worth the money at all!
