Best chippy about ! Cannot believe the size of their chicken and beef burgers . Chips are good but not amazing ( that is me being picky) . The price has went up but that is to be expected in today's climate . All in all I haven't had a bad meal and never go anywhere else.

Food is still good but it was a lot better in the past. They've took a dip. Chips are a hit or miss, sometimes really dry or like they've been sitting there too long. The fish is great. The pasties are great. The menu is a bit over priced. The staff are very friendly. The chippy itself is very clean.

Keep getting customers orders wrong I have to repeat myself sometimes and yesterday two sausages missing from my sausage supper and was called back because they had forgotten to give me a tub of curry sauce

The food wasn’t bad….i should start with saying that. My complaint is about the staff. ‘What’s yours?’ was the question barked at me upon entry into the chippy by a lady who looked liked she would wrestle a Rottweiler (and win by the way!). Now I didn’t expect a man in a top hat to show me in nor the red carpet treatment but a simple smile and hello would suffice. The staff are aggressive, unfriendly and look you up and down if they assess you’re not from the area! They need customer service training on how to be civil humans who can conduct a polite interaction. I wouldn’t go back for this reason as their unpleasantness wouldn’t cause me to part with my money in there again. Please management teach the staff how to address a customer….its basic stuff!

Tonight's food not great chips were hard as if sitting too long. Sent out with my order only to get home and some missing.

Alot of bad chips, was expecting better from such a highly reviewed chippy, won't be ordering from here again.

McDonald's like food. Everything was super deep fried, the chicken was dripping oil. Disgusting. Zaro taste in onion rings only alot of batter n ton of oil.... again. Definitely DO NOT recommend!!

Amazing food and brilliant service

Beautifully fresh white cod. Batter on the fish was a soggy excuse, but the potato scallops were tasty as was the thick curry sauce. The Moyola pastie was very tasty too. I'd visit again for sure.

I was kind of disappointed. Place was racommended as one of the best fish and chips, but somehow it wasn't. Main thing was the batter gooey and sticky. Either fry fat wasnt hot enough or fish was taken out too quickly. Chips were quite alright so won't bench the please completely. But definitely had better fish elswere.

Love the restaurant on the Limestone Road but here the Battered Fish are just a bit greasy and not as enjoyable it’s a shame because the other shop is fantastic.
