Haven't used shop for quite sometime but thought I would try again Not disappointed with the large chicken Kiev pizza, which was delicious and would go again for this or try another topping.Very disappointed with potato wedges and onion rings az they were cold but had the potential to be very good. The garlic sauce was exceptional.

Consistently good quality and affordable. Really grateful to have as our local pizza place.

Pizza came like a cheese toasty. No tomato base . Rude manager. Lifting .waste of money all in the bin

For at least 17 years I've been coming here as did my parents and uncles before me.(I'm 19 now for context) I'm simple and like a good margharita pizza. Nothing fancy. Its all I need from this place. Its perfect, it will stay perfect. Staff are friendly there and remember my order and my Dad's whenever I come in. Belmont pizza house has my loyalty and I will continue to hand my money over until I die or some lunatic takes over from the brand new owner and changes the perfect formula that has been in place for years. Thankfully, I don't think that will happen as theres a fantastic new owner of the shop and he has said things shall remain the same. I am ashamed it took me this long to get around to writing the review but here it is finally. Thank you Belmont Pizza House and the staff for allowing great nights with friends and family to exist. Many pizza filled nights are ahead of me.

Excellent gluten free pizzas Chilli sauce is awful, has too much cumin or something in tastes far too spicy and more like and Indian curry. Which really doesn't go with the food you sell including the kebabs. Please change it back and do not add the spice you are adding it totally spoils it!

Prices have went up and quality has gone down. Been a regular customer for years and won't be going back. It's a shame, such a shame.

Been a customer for 20 years. Recently changed owners. Already cutting corners with ingredients. Hardly any sauce, much thinner base. Still tastes nice but not like it used to. Big shame.

Is now under new ownership.We have had 2 pizzas since it was taken over.The quality & taste was nowhere near as good,as it was,under the old management.. I have been a customer here for years,but will will be looking to find an alternative.

Rang for a collection tonight and was told no we can't accept no more orders. Moved to Belmont in January 2016 and used this pizza house since then but won't be returning.

Just been here 4/5/23 would not recommend spent nearly £25 and nearly all went in the bin tried ringing but got no answer gave up after 2hrs absolute disgrace we will certainly not be going back here!!!!!!!

Belmont Pizza make the best garlic bread with tomato. Many people are missing out on not trying this as its so delicious. It is one of the owner's specialty's and always perfect. All of the pizzas are first class and the mighty meat has a kick to it. The owner is a lovely man and always grateful to the customers. I am so pleased he has been able to keep going through everything that has happened in the last few years and wish him and the team best wishes.

Hi, i am currently employed at Belmont Pizza house and would like to just correct the timings on this website. We take last orders at 9.45pm so make sure you get your orders in by then!! We take both cash and card for collections and deliveries can be paid in cash or over the phone. Make sure to come and say Hi !

Absolutely delicious pizzas everytime, freshly cooked and ready in 20 minutes. Love there garlic sauce too. Staff very nice still my favourite pizza shop :)

Delicious, certainly get what you pay for. Every ingredient used is certainly fresh and the place is nipping clean with friendly staff. I've tried over 30 different pizza places and this is by far the best one yet.

The best pizzas around and freshest kebabs

Really nice food- particularly the chicken tikka kebab. Lots of good options- takeaway is quickly prepared and reasonably priced.

Love the pizzas from Belmont Pizza House in Carrville, plenty of topping, fresh and delicious. Nowhere locally matches them.

Great menu and very clean. Gluten free pizza available and staff are very friendly. They also excellent with allergies.

The pizzas are awesome - especially the sweet chilli chicken which can't be bettered. I've marked my rating down by one star because, at the time of writing this review, the price of the pizzas you pay in the shop are higher than as advertised on the website.

My favourite pizza house in Durham... And I've tried a lot of them! Best balance of bread, sauce and topping for me. I don't like overly bready pizzas. This hits the spot.

We've been here quite a few times now and it's literally the best pizza from a takeaway that we've ever had! If it's closed we won't go anywhere else because it just doesn't cut the mustard!

The best. The staff are brilliant and become good friends. As for the food, it's excellent quality and plenty of it.

Been using this for years, Good prices, friendly quick service and always a tasty pizza with plenty of topping. Best chips too. The only complaint would be the pitta bread is too small in the donner kebabs. Apart from that would recommend

The most lacklustre pizza I've ever had. I've never thrown away a pizza before but this was the exception. The base had the taste and texture of styrofoam

Me and my family just ordered a pizza and kebab from here and wow...Delicious! The kebab meat was not too overly spiced, the chicken was good sized chunks and was lovely and moist, the pizza was delicious, the chilli sauce wasn't too spicy and had a lovely fresh taste and the garlic sauce wasn't too strong or garlicy and had a beautiful creamy taste. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be making it our new go-to takeaway!

Had some late night impromptu pizzas with some friends. Honestly the best Bolognese pizza I've eaten (and I've eaten a few!) Tastier than my local pizza shop in Sunderland! Looks like I've found a new local spot!!

Just ordered from this place I mean just ordered!! house special pizza and kebab meat and chips with garlic sauce. I am about to tell you about a very awful disgusting experience we have just had yuck.. You can smell the garlic not to mention seeing it drip from the cardboard box abouslouley disgusing. We ordered from this place having heard it was good. Good in garlic turns out we heard wrong. Avoid this place at all costs unless you are keeping the vampires away certainly not romantic. However offered an opportunity to have another pizza delivered wat will be in it??? Personal opinion. Offered money off next time definately won't be happening unless I need a vampire dealing with. Awful to taste, nothing but garlic but especially when sober totally wrong.

We order from this pizza shop for years we spent thoughtful over the years we used to order it evry night few time we got it wasn't so nice chips was raw pizza was like bread on the base they wear getting to a point wear they got gready wouldn't even thow a bottle of pop in I use to spend £100 a week or so on this take away shop and no bether thought off coz we complain abaut a order 1 night they didn't like it was being very funny on the phone the way they was goin on u think they was given us the food for free ! When we put money there pocket very rude to think that afther all them years they came funny coz we complain u think they would off just took in consideration for the next time but they didn't or well there loss plenty more take away around it's there loss not mine too greedy any way evry think goin up 10p 20p this that but u don't get out free I will spend my money some wear els too good for this place now as no better thought off pizza not as gd ROTTEN !

We don't often use pizza places as it would not be our first choice take-out food, but this one makes exquisite pizzas!

BELMONT PIZZA BLUE HOUSE SHOPS Always used this place till Saturday the 17/12/16 rang @ 1925 to be told we only have one driver so not delivering to West Rainton no option for collection phone put down by a young lad. Well just to let you know PIZZA PERFECT SHERBURN ROAD ENDS now has my business feel very let down 😭

This is the only takeaway pizza shop that I will eat from and have been going here for years. The ingredients are of good quality, the prices are reasonable, the food is tasty, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner is particularly a nice guy. I would strongly recommend going here above other takeaway establishments.

Having passed this place many times on our way to Tesco, Diane & I decided to give it a try on Saturday when we found ourselves surprisingly at a loose end! It's rather uninspiring from outside, fronting onto the road, but there's a spacious car park and on entering by the rear door we were amazed at how clean and well laid out the place is. It's by no means an extensive menu but if our fare is any kind of guide then the quality and portion size is great - fantastic value for money! Another nice touch - my glass of "house" rose wine turned out to be Blossom Hill not some cheap plonk. In line with the rest of the place, Diane pronounced the toilets spotless. The barmaid on duty was pleasant and efficient without being too obtrusive and contributed to an overall enjoyable experience. We'll be going again pretty soon methinks!

Unfortunately had terrible experience from here last night. Order took 2 hours to be delivered! Did not receive phone call to inform of delay. I rang 3 times during this time to be greeted with terrible customer service. No apology given. Food wasn't up to standard when it finally did arrive. Usually use this pizza house but never again. Service has been becoming worse and worse and after last night we will never return!

Best Pizza shop in the UK. I've lived in several places round the UK and tried a lot of pizza takeaways but nothing ever comes close to this. When I come back to my Durham home town I always make an effort to go here. The pizzas are always top notch and they will make it with whatever you want and its always at a very reasonable price. Definitely shows how ridiculously expensive Domino's are! The owner of this place is one of the friendliest people I know and has been there since I started going since 2002 and it has been a pleasure to see this business grow. For a cracking pizza at cracking prices don't even bother to look anywhere else. Ive never been disappointed or had any issues with any food from here and I will continue to return here as long as the business or I live!
