I have had many orders from here and the quality of food is excellent food is always hot and on time highly recommend this fish shop

Firstly I'd just like to say we are somewhat regulars. We have eaten in and collected to takeaway on many occasions. The food has always been great, the best chips in Harrow, on those occasions and the staff lovely and very helpful. However on this occasion we ordered via a delivery service as had a group of people wanting to try for the first time. We were left very very disssapointed and they looked at me like I was crazy that these were the best chips in Harrow. They were not impressed. The prices via the delivery service were quite a bit higher than in store, that's fine but we still expect the same quality atleast as we are paying more. We are 5 minutes drive away. The chips were a massive let down. I usually would a sore them a 9/10 but these were a 4/10. They were soo bland. There was no salt or vinegar on any of the chips we ordered. They tasted soo bland. They were also a bit on the undercooked side and very squishy, could have done with a little more time, nowhere near the quality of chips we are used to getting. The rest was pretty good except the burger which was very dry and didn't have any sauce on it. Overall I really would not recommend getting delivery and instead going in person. The food quality for delivery is so very different. Who serves plain chips? The whole point is the salty and vinegar flavour and it is not like there was a box under each menu item to add in or aby check boxes to tick for no salt or vinegar and same with burger sauce. I will say the burger was cooked perfectly just needed sauce. Won't be ordering again with delivery, just not worth it. Maybe if collecting in person, don't want to risk plain undercooked chips again. Eating in - 9/10 limited room but staff are lovely to chat to Takeaway - 9/10 quick packaged well Delivery - 3/10 not worth the cost, quality disssapointing.

Been meaning to go here for a while after reading about it winning so many awards & accolades. Quiet Monday afternoon, scored one of the two tables. Very clean, very friendly and professional staff. Two cod & small chips. Even though the fish had been sitting a minute they were piping hot and crunchy. Fish was super tasty, skin-on like I love it but texture a bit off, slightly mushy, didn’t ask dining partner as they were enjoying theirs. Assume it was an anomaly as other reviews are so good. Chips were excellent. Tried a complimentary housemade tartar sauce, nice enough. Super, super service though.

Food was fantastic but we ordered 2 portions of chips but there was only one portion delivered. So I’m had to go without. Ended up going completely without as there was not enough for everyone. £56 for a meal and they cannot even check the order leaves the premises with all items packed in the bag !!

This is very poor keep sending blessings out poor food these ribs were destroyed yes I got my money back but ruined my evening

It upsets me to give a bit of a negative review today, but it’s all about being honest. The chips were not cooked well enough and the doner kebab was the same, although it won’t stop me from eating there again as it’s totally understandable that everyone has their down days!

Usually always get 1 family size and 1 large size ...Unfortunately this time the family size was the same size as large.... Portions seem to have reduced.

Excellent fish and chips situated on Belmont Circle,Stanmore/Harrow.

Fish is not on par as before, no way. Soggy for some reason, ive never experienced this from this restaurant as its as always on point, maybe having a bad day.

The whole family LOVE the fish and chips from Belmont Bay! Especially with the home made tartare sauce! Highly recommend

Don’t bother ordering online thinking you will get a discounted price as they don’t honour the order even after taking the money when the order is placed online. So had to order in person after they insisted no order existed despite being given the order number and they then proceeded to charge way more than we originally paid for less as we had a piece of fish that had been requested left off the order. Tried to call about error with the order but they can’t even be bothered to answer the phone. All in all very shoddy customer service and in my opinion a total rip off. Not even nice food after all that hassle. Part 2 - In response to your reply : No, no time did my cousin say it was a telephone order. YOU made that assumption. She showed you the order number and name but you didn’t check properly. Most places have a system in place to recognise an order number regardless of how the order is made. You clearly do not. 2. I fail to see how a telephone order could have been made in the first place when you weren’t answering the phones and directing everyone to order online. 3. No you didn’t speak to me on the phone. Your records should show I tried to call as I had a text from you at 19.23, which directed me to order online through your website. That doesn’t help when I wanted to speak to you about a wrong order. But you didn’t call me and you still haven’t. 4. I maintain that I was overcharged as this was all your error. In my opinion, you saw an opportunity to get extra money for the order while and providing less than the original order. None of this alters the fact that the food was poor and not worth the £57 you charged which was less than the amount you charged by mother for the online order.

The Tar Tar sauce was left out! Needed it for the fish! and paid for it!

Not happy with the order or delivery, pre ordered at 6 for it to be delivered for 7 but arrives at 7.29. This is not on i could have just ordered it at 7 and received it at the same time. More to the point the cod fillet bites were soggy

The fish and chips had no flavour and tasted bland ,, the saveloy was overcooked and hard

the driver gave us the wrong food and then drove off without even checking. we had no time to make the change and then I had to go and drop off the food myself. absolute joke.

The fish n chips are fair but the staff constantly try to overcharge for what you have ordered and give the wrong change. All I can say is food not bad but watch what they charge you they are thieves. Yes and it happened again and I’ll say it again THIEVES P.S and the Bag of Chips portions are getting smaller!

Lamb shish kebab consists of 5 small pieces of lamb and a miniature pitta bread this is not a kebab!!

The worst bean burger I have EVER had, in fact probably the worst burger I have had and my families thoughts were the same. Ended up throwing it away. Avoid.
