I have my morning coffee here almost every day. The staff are friendly, they already know my usual order. I've been to many different coffee shops in London but no one beats Bellavita

Bough a tuna roll, plain tuna, bits of rocket and tomato, could do with more filling and nothing soecial. Tiny size with big price at £5.70! Smallest mocha ever had at a premium price. See photos for size. Waitress looked like she didn’t want to be there and when asked questions it was like she did not want to be bugged. No warmth in her voice and approach and in my opinion requires customer service training in this area. Will I be going back? No- nothing special and too expensive.

Four of us attended a lovely pizza making session on a Sunday lunchtime. It was a fun time and the teacher, Alfonso, was a true expert. Such a genuine and patient teacher. We leant a lot, tasted lots of different flavours and had a lot of fun. Great time.

Not the resturant it once was... our food was tastless and no better than a frozen meal i could buy from Iceland and prepare myself. And very expensive . Such a shame as this place used to be very good .

First class service!; The staff delivered the service they promised! A vibrant venue and the staff I interacted with were cheerful and helpful. I had the most pleasant experience hiring the venue, starting from booking the venue with the marketing and services person, Marriella Greco, to visiting to check that the facility will work for me and on the day of my event , attending to all our needs. I would like to thank Mariella and her team , who made sure my party went without a hitch. My quests and I had an amazing experience. I had 50 guests for my party and just right size for the venue. I strongly recommend the venue and would use it again. Calista, Chelmsford Essex

Total ripoff and dishonest pricing practices. I bought 12+ things and was surprised by the total. When I checked the receipt I was charged £5.10 for one red apple and £5.10 for one golden apple. Each item was marked as “priced by weight” but that clearly didn’t apply in my case. Did Bellavita corporate or the cashier pocket the significant markup on these apples? What else do you cheat customers on? Not somewhere I’ll be rushing back...

We had a booking for pasta making class at 11am, however one of us was very sick and unable to attend. I tried to call them as early as possible but no answer and when I sent an email to ask whether it is possible to reschedule, the reply was very rude and unprofessional with several typos. At the end of the day, our choice to miss the slot was also for hygiene reasons at a pasta making class. They could at least respect that and reply professionally or answer the phone if they needed an earlier notice. After reading in more reviews, not sure If it’s worth attending anymore.

Looks all ver professional all decent but expected a decent lavazza latte and received a thimble size milky tasteless coffee Forget the price as was cheap which should have made me think after it was made I told both short Indian looking guys the coffee tasteless and the milk was not done properly they looked at me blank and I walked out! A complete waist of money and def not an Italian shop when I was married to an Italian and after looking around it was overpriced and honestly you could buy better in a normal supermarket

I purchased 4 pieces of focaccia from this shop this morning. It cost £2.50 each for a tiny slab. The 2 ladies behind the counter could not be bothered to greet me seeing I was the only person in the shop. Very disappointing, poor customer service and poor value for money. ( photo attached below)

This is mixed review. No welcome on arrival. Had to find a prep table - as they were set up in tables of 3 people, I could not enjoy the evening with my husband - we had to work separately. The pasta making was demonstrated and then we all made our own with the ingredients provided. The workspace was nice and clean with sufficient equipment. After we had made the pasta there was quite a bit of waiting around whilst this was collected ready for cooking. Then the chef demonstrated the cooking of two separate sauces. The tables were set - we moved our place settings so that we could sit together to dine. The pasta that everyone was made was put together in one pot, so you did not eat your own pasta - a couple of this turned our noses up at this communal use of pasta! The experience was billed for 6 - 8 pm, but we did not start eating until after 8pm - finishing at about 8.45 - some people were stressing about getting their train because of the late finish. Prosecco to start was good - you helped yourself so some people had more than others - the bolder got more! The bumpf said we would get a wine or craft beer with our dinner but this was not forthcoming - my dining neighbour asked and we got one each, but it seemed that you only got if you asked - a bit random. There was no 'thank you for coming' at the end - people just driftedaway. It was ok but I think with some thought it could be better organised.

Attended the Joe Hurd chef evening cooking demonstration. On entering lots of people enjoying themselves but they were not part of the event. The event was held at the back of the shop no atmosphere or any real information and we were just left standing around. The table of hams and cheese with sun dried tomatoes etc was plentiful and delicious. Eventually the demonstration started with everyone sitting down at tables which meant we couldn’t hear anything due to the noise coming from the front of the shop and the fact that microphone provided did not work. Unfortunately all the food had been pre-prepared due to the time consuming complexity of the recipes. So all we saw was some pasta being cooked and some aubergines being fried. Plenty of chances to ask questions and the shop provided a desert. But definitely not the two hour live cooking show that was advertised.

shopped here in this Italian deli tucked away near Tower Bridge and about 10 mintiest walk from Aldgate East station for their fresh pumpkin ravioli after having it for supper with friends locally in Whitechapel recently it was so exceptional j had to visit the shop but it was out of stock so I bought Parmesan cheese & speck ham which I had as a snack & with fresh fusilli & then returned yesterday for the pumpkin ravioli,in stock, and had it tonight my verdict it’s uniquely delicious. The staff Jessica & Jennaro are very friendly & very helpful so highly recommend a visit.

The shop stocks great produce from Italy, especially for cooking or organising an occasion at home. Given that almost everything is imported you will have to pay higher prices, which is understandable.

The food is pretty good and the atmosphere for a Friday night was relaxed and good to make it possible to have a conversation. The service although not bad was a bit slow and at times I thought someone could have checked on us, also was given the wrong bill when it wasn't that busy. Still I think it's a good place to go if you want to eat and hold a conversation without a lot of noise that CW normally has.

We spent £122 for two, and while the service was fine, the food and drink were disappointing. The food wasn’t tasty and very overpriced at £22 for a bland saffron risotto and thick chewy agnolotti. Nothing was “wrong” per se, rather it was just incredibly basic and lacked substance and flavour. Drinks were also below par; the Aperol Spritz was flat, and the Negroni was just passable. While the salad, peach mozzarella, and gnocco fritto were decent, the overall quality didn’t justify the price. At this price point, places like Osteria Romana or Manteca offer far superior food and drinks. The high overall ratings made us expect much better. Perhaps we picked a bad day, but there should be no exceptions at this price point. It feels like we dined at a completely different restaurant than the one described in the reviews. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
