Love the Bella Vista. The food is amazing and the service is perfect. It's my dad's favourite restaurant!

Love this place always a friendly welcome and great service nice staff fantastic food and at a decent price , only fault is the service charge on the bill ( optional ) but doesn't say so ,so don't have to pay ,ask for it to be removed

Went here for an evening event overall was a good evening. Service was distant and not approachable, and food was okay but not worth the price. The room was so packed I could not hear my friend next to me. A more relaxed than chaotic style service would make this evening better with grater space in-between tables which could barely fit the waiting staff who were manically busy all evening. Accidents with glasses and plates being dropped occured during the evening. To highlight the cheesecake and chips were rather good. However, vegetables undercooked and protein overdone.

One of our favourite restaurants. We visit regularly and are never disappointed. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly and make special occasions fun for all! Food is outstanding and great value for money. Gorgeous setting with a great atmosphere.

I am happy to say I really enjoyed my time here. Food for all guests was very good. Service with only very minor gripes such as no opening spoon for the Muscles was jolly and pleasant. Good atmosphere with a few birthdays being celebrated.

Beautiful place and great food.

I've been there with my family many times but lately the experience has been a total disappointment. That was the third time they forget my food (gf) in front of my family and I've had to wait a long time to eat something that in the end is horrible, half cooked and made me feel sick later. Not to mention that the same day I went to celebrate my mother's birthday and one of the waiters started to swearing ​​in spanish (I got it on video). Very rude! There're other very nice waiters, but thanks to this guy we had a very bad time. I wont go back to this place again.

Not impressed first time I have been

Food was cold, extremely rude waiter, wouldn't go again. Beautiful venue, but terrible service. Check if they have added a service charge on your bill. They don't seem to be happy unless you are ordering bottles of wine and alcohol.

Lovely meal we all went for the three course Sunday lunch I had pate to start roast beef and profiteroles was amazing and fantastic value for money will definitely eat here again thank you x

Popular local restaurant, good food, good service.

Excellent food, I chose the Gran Spaghetti Pescatore. It was absolutely delicious the seafood was excellent and the spaghetti was just right. Everybody in my party gave the food either 9 or 10 out of 10. The staff were very attentive and really made the night, they were excellent.

Was taken here on a works do.. the steak was nice but the starter of king prawns was so overpriced for what it was.

We attended a family celebration here last week, and everything was excellent. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a beautiful restaurant. Even the weather and views were perfect!

Always super, small 80th, where the lovely team made a great fuss and really made the occasion. Food, service and atmosphere at 5 star.

A great place for a family and friends get together

First time visiting and we all really enjoyed the food. Fillet steak was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had. Others had the lamb shank which was also very nice. Will be back I’m sure.

Been going here for years for date nights & family meals. Staff are engaging and waiters are funny & the food is always top tier. Very well priced, i’ve never been and felt like ive overpaid.

Went there for Sunday lunch with family, the food was fantastic, I had the roast beef and it was delicious. We have been coming here as a family since the mid 1980's and we went here for my mothers birthday before Christmas but haven't been here for years before that. I was really happy that the quality was still there. Great food, lots of choice, perfect service and a good price. Better than a lot of highly rated London restaurants and at a fraction of the cost. Recommend!

Good food, typical Italian service but can be good depending on the occasion.

We visited the Bella Vista for a evening meal on Thursday 22nd August. We waited for over an hour before being seated for dinner. We then waited another half hour before we received the Menu’s to choose our meal. One starter over cooked and one meal very much under cooked. No excuses for a top rated restaurant.

The waiters need to smile a bit more and interact with the customers.

Lovely meal, Service was a little slow but we could understand as there were quite a lot of people in one party so we had to wait a while. The meal was a little pricey, Lovely surroundings .

It is really lovely in well maintained grounds, overlooking the countryside. Stunning views. The food is beyond amazing, seriously good. Really good portions and not stingy with sauce! Staff are attentive and nice. Best resuraunt. Reasonable prices. If I lived nearer it would be the only place I went to eat!

Absolutely appalled by our experience last night. I ordered 10 ounce steak an 9 ounces of it was pure fat. When I spoke to the waiter they dragged th plate from under my face without even saying a word to us! The came back with a raw steak thrust in my face asking if that is good enough for you!!! The waiter was extremely rude an we won’t ever be returning! Our experience was nothing but negative from the second we got in there. We had heard such good things from your restaurant and left really upset and disappointed! I think your staff need some training in customer service

Love this place. They are so busy!! The reason we come back are the waiters. Especially Jaime. He has been there so long and brings customers back just to speak with him again. He is brilliant with all ages and is truly loved. Hope this kind of customer care continues when people like Jaime have retired.

We have .visited this restaurant this weekend and it was great Idea.Atmosphere over there is nice and relaxing,gentle music was in the background,food was delicious. I would like to point out the Polish waiter who treated us to a wonderful conversation, recommended dishes and made our time more pleasant, and every time he passed our table he served us with a smile, which could not be said about older waiters

I recently dined at Bellavista in Rochdale, and it was a delightful experience. We ordered the lasagne and the margarita pizza, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. The lasagne was perfectly seasoned, with layers of rich, flavorful sauce, and the pizza had a crispy crust with a fresh, tasty topping. The staff at Bellavista were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Their warm and attentive service added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the strawberry milkshakes were wonderful – creamy and full of flavor, they were a perfect treat. Parking was convenient, making it easy for us to get to the restaurant. The ambiance inside was lovely, with a charming and comfortable setting that enhanced our dining experience. Overall, Bellavista in Rochdale is a great place for a meal, offering delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Attended a dinner get together with a few friends. Still a lovely Italian restaurant with great staff and atmosphere. In this day and age (takeaway fish and chips £12-14!) I thought the food was exceedingly good value (£18-22) for a main course including sides.

We booked at quite short notice (about a week) for a table of about 20 which was no problem at all, there were 17 of us and a baby and nothing was too much trouble and really couldn't fault it, the food was beautiful, the staff were lovely and friendly and on taking our own cake they brought plates out for us all, a really lovely evening and will definitely be returning x

After a disappointing visit to our go to Italian da Sandro’s decided next give a golden oldie Bellavista a go. Great decision .. waiters on the whole very entertaining and courteous but took an age to get drinks order and 45 minutes wait for starters just very wrong . Same large group that ate at Da ‘S but bill was significantly cheaper and food well cooked and presented. I would go again as it was an enjoyable night and food good. Ribs to start sea bass and stroganoff for mains very tasty .still one better Italian in the centre of Oldham but this is a good second

Went for my son’s birthday. Food was just ok. Starters were nice however my lasagna was mainly just white sauce and although red hot to start was cold in the middle and tasteless with hardly any meat. Don’t like the way at the end of the meal, the sever took my card from me to pay so I didn’t then have the option of opting out of the service charge. Customers should have the choice and not have their card taken from them.

As usual, a great time at the Bellavista. The set menu Sunday lunch is good value. We had a large party this time and there was a 20% surcharge applied to the bill. Bear this in mind if you consider tipping.

We went there tonight for our granddaughters 5th birthday. 7th of January 2024. It was amazing. The food was great but what made it was the waiters. When the cake was presented after the mains the waiter tapped his glass and asked for our granddaughter to make a speech which she kind of did. These guys could not do enough for us. We had the pizza which was to die for. Forget the food (which was gorgeous) The waiters 🫶 Amazing . Thanks so much for the experience ❤️

Lovely food. I have had a stroke and am partially sighted with mobility issues. No lift to the pizzeria, so obvs no access for wheelchair users . Is this allowed? No accessible toilet.? No real music, just some annoying background noise. Please play some soft Italian music. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ESPECIALLY WHEELCHAIR USERS DONT GO.! I will be reporting this place for discrimination.

I recently attended a work meal at Bellavista with around 30 colleagues, and I must say, the experience was absolutely stellar! We booked for an early evening on a bustling Saturday, and despite the crowd, the service was prompt and efficient, thanks to the fantastic team. The food selection catered wonderfully to both adults and children in our group, offering a wide array of choices that left no one wanting. The staff were notably attentive, ensuring our drinks and meal orders were taken and served without any delay. As a wheelchair user, I was particularly impressed with the accessibility of the venue, which provided a ramp for easy access. The quality of the food was top-notch, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the menu to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. Bellavista truly deserves a 5-star rating!

This is our "go-to" place to go for a meal for any occasion and we love it so much we had our Wedding & Reception here. The Food & Service are amazing and we have never had a bad meal in the many years we have been coming. The Fillet Steak is probably one of the best you will ever have! The staff are always polite and welcoming and the price is on par with restaurants of this calibre. 10/10

Great Christmas dinner with friendly and excellent service.

Ruined our Christmas. We were looking forward to celebrating my daughter’s 1st Christmas here today. What a disappointment. We were a table of 9 in the function room. Once seated we waited 40 minutes for the waiter to take our drinks order. We asked 3 times for someone to take our order and we got shunned. Finally the waiter came and took them and our food order, he was so rude to us. He made us feel like we were really putting him out. We were forced to pick desert before we had eaten, which is not great. There was such a long wait between starter and main. When it came my mums salmon was cold. My 91 year old grandma asked for a small plate and it came the same size as my mums and she was completely over faced. Now onto the most shocking thing of all! They had the deserts all out on display for 2 hours with no cover over them near the bar and door where people were gathering and coughing! Disgusting! They also had a microwave on this table which the waiters were using to heat the Christmas puddings in full display of guests! Absolutely disgraceful. They were also opening packets of Mr.Kiplings mince pies and plating them. Almost £90 per head and not even a homemade mince pie! The bill came, and of course it was wrong. Nothing but attitude from the waiter when trying to sort it out. I understand they are busy, but the service was shocking and food very mediocre. They needed more staff or less tables. For £80+10%, the best part of £90 per head it was absolutely appalling. Completely ruined what should have been such a special day for us as a family. We are so so disappointed.

Food was terrible, I wouldn't go again. Meatballs were cold but the sauce was hot. Veal was terrible and I'm sure the veg was from the day before re heated.... Probably the whole meal was re heated going off the taste... Very poor food.
