Bella Italia Salford Quays in Salford

Despite being extremely busy we experienced excellent service and the food was lovely. Sadly not sure name of waitress . We had the 3 course set menu and both had different things for each course. All lovely food and excellent value and service.

I have no idea what the food is like as we waited 50 minutes and it didn't arrive. Apparently, our order was lost amid a flurry of other orders. The manager apologised and didn't charge for our drinks, but we had to leave hungry as we ran out of time. We'll go elsewhere next time we're in the area.

Visited this restaurant before an evening at the Lowry Theatre. Perfect location as only very short walk away .Staff very welcoming and helpful.Food varied and reasonably priced we ate off set menu and chose a 3 course meal for £21 . Food was excellent fresh tasty and plentiful .Service was very good but not rushed so we could enjoy our food .The restaurant was very busy but retained a personal happy atmosphere .A very enjoyable meal and I would visit again

Decided to visit this restaurant while in the area... Greeting was very welcoming ...The waiteres had good knowledge of the menu and asked about any food allergies...Food and drinks order was taken and was served within 10 minutes...food presentation was good...all cooked perfect...Great value for money...Customer Service from all the staff was excellent.

Very disappointing gluten free pizza. Looked and tasted like it was a supermarket frozen pizza, perfect round circle and the tomato/cheese on it looked different to my friends gluten version. Complete rip off for £16. Definitely avoid the pizzas if you are gluten free.

Friendly staff waiting on tables. Very poor food management. We waited for nearly an hour with drinks waiting for our garlic bread and over an hour for our main course. A really very embarrassing wait as I was treating friends. We were given 25% discount off the bill because of the wait. We will never recommend or come here again!

Andy was our waiter who was very attentive and pleasant. He was very aware of my daughters nut allergy and explained everything to us regarding nuts in certain foods. He is an asset to your restaurant so deserves praise.

Arrived late in Manchester, and was glad to find Bella Italia. Very busy for Wednesday evening. Excellent waitres. Sorry fid not get her name but she was from Leeds. Lovely meal and wine. Would recommend

This was our first visit to any Bella Italia & will be our last. First off there was a broken tile which is a trip hazard. We booked a table which was good as it was very busy. They had squeezed people in as it was very close & right. This was also a fire risk as there is only one exit for that amount of people crammed in. Also you could hear any tables around you including the lady who sent hers back as the chicken wasn’t cooked. Our meals were basic meals they couldn’t mess up or so we thought. The pasta was very bland and I left half of it. The staff were always talking when tables needed to be cleared. We were served a white Fanta which we sent back only for our waiter to say It does look strange. We asked for desserts & it took a while for our waiter to come to us. When we asked for our bill we mentioned it would be a card payment. Instead of bringing a card machine over we had to wait and ask someone to make the payment.

Both myself and my husband had a starter, he loved his but mine was like a brick with tomatoes and SOME onions on it - I make it better myself at a fraction of the cost. Also, we ordered 2 calzones which were as flat as a pancake and virtually empty. This restaurant has gone downhill over the last few years and should actually SHUT - not worth spending our month on!

food was bland and my pasta sauce was watery would not recommend going here only good thing was the waitress who was very polite and sadly was the only member of staff actually doing anything.

Was really busy and hectic waited 1 hr for food .I ordered side s which came with garlic slice which was rock hard pizza which wasnt the greatest tasted like a tesco frozen pizza .they discounted the bill but was stil 90 quid quite expensive for the poor quality of food .wont be back ..

Waited 45 minutes for mediocre starters, followed by a carbonara that was so watery it tasted like just plain boiled spaghetti. My partner had the spicy sausage which was swimming in oil. We got a partial refund but it still cost us over £40 for food that was awful. Won’t be coming back here again.

We were on a coach tour where we had been told to enjoy lunch at around 11.30 am before moving on to our next port of call. Tom was very understaffed to say the least, but he completely understood our problem and managed to fit us in and serve us with care, professionalism and humour. The food was delicious and we were easily finished by the time we had to return to our coach. So a huge ‘thank you’ to Tom, you are a real credit to your Company.

We visited for family dinner. Andy was welcoming & friendly. He also understood the seriousness of my Coeliac disease and helped with the menu. The food was great too, tasty and plentiful. Lots of gluten free choice alongside the msin menu. Thank you.

Terrible service very slow we booked a table and when we arrived it was really quiet. It soon filled up after us with people coming out of the show. Waited an hour for food with people arriving after us all getting their food. Staff were rude so we paid for drinks and walked out. Not good customer service

Great spot for a pre-show meal. Wide range of homely-sounding Italian food. Food you really think "ooh yeah, that sounds good I definitely want that". And it does hit the spot. Highly recommended. Huge credit to Ioannis who was nothing short of incredible. The guy glides around the restaurant and does the job of about 7 people flawlessly. He can get your drinks, take a cake to a table and sing happy birthday, take another order, and sort a bill all at the same time. I've never seen anything like it.

I was quite sceptical about trying Salford Bella again as I had a not so good experience a while back but I thought I’d give it a whirl again as I’ve always loved going to any Bella that I come across and OMG I was not disappointed this time!!! The food was delicious and the staff were brilliant, the pizza piccante is out of this world and the server was so attentive, will definitely go again 10/10 to the Bella staff 👏

We went to the Salford Quay in Manchester, we ordered a chicken , ham and mushroom pizza I thought i was on Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmare it was the worst pizza I have ever had . The staff were super freindly and helpful . Just a pity the pizza let them down .

Don't waste your time or money. Had to search for someone to show us to a table, order taken quite quickly and drinks brought OK. Waited an hour for mediocre food even though asked twice how much longer on the verge of walking out. Dough balls could have killed if thrown at someone and pizza had hardly any topping. Waste of time and money won't be back

The welcome to the restaurant was poor, it seemed like we weren’t wanted. Seated and offered drinks, draught beer was that famous Italian brand, Stella Artois…why?!? Drinks came, fine, no issues. Food ordered, kids dough balls were very uninspiring, dry as the desert, came with red pepper sticks, again why?!? My lasagne tasted no better than a ready meal from Tesco, pizza looked decent but when I tried my wife’s I realised I’d been fooled, one of the most average tasting pepperoni pizzas I’ve ever tasted. Bill was nearly £70, honest opinion, a waste of money. Won’t be back
