Had a gorgeous Valentine's lunch here on our vacation. I had the soup and lamb dishes from the special menu and they were the best I've ever tasted.

This was our second visit and the food and welcome were excellent again. Love that the restaurant is small and friendly and the food is freshly prepared by one chef. Impressive! Food great, plentiful and served with a smile. Give it a try if you are passing.

Group of 7 middle aged men! The Portuguese owner (chef) and her daughter were extremely welcoming. This is a small, genuine, family restaurant where all the beautiful dishes are cooked in plain view, from scratch. A breath of fresh air. I encourage you to go here instead of a chain for better quality, better service, better value. I should add I have no vested interest in this business, I am not family or friend, just a first time visiting customer. Loved it.

Just had tea and a cake with my lovely work colleague friends. What a gorgeous little tea shop this is. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff armed with a hot sample of winter tea. They also had delicious vegan cupcakes and all of the treats were beautifully presented. To add to the experience, all of the teas, coffees, infusers etc. are available to buy. The shop itself smells of delicious things and the ambience is mellow and inviting. I was so impressed and will definitely be visiting again. All of the staff are super friendly - thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon in a perfect tea-lovers heaven!

I regularly go to The Little Teapot - it's a lovely little teashop, with homemade scones, cakes, and brownies, as well as a selection of savoury food. They also do a delightful afternoon tea, and have started doing freshly made soup. There's many types of tea available, and the coffee is really nice as well. At my most recent visit, I tried their new Hot Chocolate Bomb - the hot chocolate powder is chilled in a ball with mini marshmallows and covered in chocolate. When you pour the steamed milk on it, the ball opens and the contents start mixing - kids will love it.

This is such great food. I have never had anything like it. It’s brilliant value for money as it really does fill you up and the flavours are beautiful. I think my favourite is the pickle but I do like the sweet chilli too. It’s a great idea for lunch on the go but doesn’t have the “fatty” feel that you get with fast food takeaways. Five stars from me.

Tim and Paul never disappoint. The menu of Risotto, Beef and chocolate pudding was an understatement. Every course is beautifully cooked and meticulously presented. The risotto was turned into an asparagus risotto which was creamy and full of flavour dressed expertly on the plate, the beef was a fillet of beef with a range of extravagant, delicious accompaniments and a most delicious jus. The chocolate pud was just heaven. Chocolate pastry, chocolate and passionate fruit fulling, homemade white chocolate candy floss and home-made ice cream. What’s not to like? Tim is a superb chef while Paul is equally expert in his front of house role explaining what is on the plate for every course. We have had a number of meals at the Epikurious Arkitekt and keep returning. Try it out and get the bug you will be made very welcome.
