I love this place. I can shut my eyes and be in a little side street in Lisbon. Frequented by the local Portuguese community of course, but also a few "in the know" Brits, the hosts are the most friendly and accommodating people you could wish to find. It's a no-frills kind of place. Totally functional in its appearance but of course the food is outstanding - serving typical Portuguese dishes such as fejoada and Porco preto etc, which you can either eat in or take away. Delicious. Or just pop for a lovely cappuccino coffee with pao com chourico or other Portuguese snacks. Amazing prices, great service, wonderful atmosphere. Love it!!

over the past 3 weeks, the smell of strong body odour from various staff members at Asda Monks Cross, seems to be on the rise, especially one of the delivery pickers first thing opening time today Sunday 9th Feb, and previous weeks also on first opening on a Sunday. Surely Management are inclined to tell them, to have a wash & discover deodorant!.. imagine them picking your fresh food for delivery!….disgusting.
