The food is perfectly nice, but the service is shocking. We have used Beijing several times, but no more. The young delivery driver buzzed our door maybe 10 times in 5 seconds, then proceeds to not say hello, goodbye or thank you for the undeserved tip we gave. Just walks off. Awful, awful, awful. You should be ashamed Beijing.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Shocking service by rude staff. Food was absolutely disgusting. I took one dish back to show them. Completely ignored my complaint and told me this is a normal dish. Shocking how bad it was. I will be complaining to the local council on their hygiene as well.

We went here for the first time, ordered some starters and main courses. Service was quick, Food was fantastic. One of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in a long time.

Really disappointed - Kung po prawn and special chow mein was watery and lacked flavour. Chicken balls ok but duck spring roll didn’t seem freshly made to me. Still searching for a decent local Chinese restaurant.

Trying to get in a last minute meal before 2nd lockdown. Booked a table and only found out when we arrived they opened just for us. Amazing food. One to one attention and brilliant service.

Very polite but honestly very disappointing food last night. Prawn crackers had a very strange flavour. Crispy Duck was good, but the crispy chilli beef, prawns in garlic and chicken in black bean, egg fried rice was average. Three of us commented wasn’t as good as previous owners. Would we go back, yes but it needs improving.

New owner . Very friendly and helpful. Food arrived on time and hot... large portions and very tasty . Will defiantly order again . Highly recommend

I learnt that the place is now under new ownership - and it has really really improved! Thoroughly recommended, cooked with passion and very generous dishes. It’s great to support such a local business and I hope they manage to open the dine in restaurant area again soon! Thanks for a delight to look forward to on special evenings now - right opposite a growing community at Bucklers Park

Overall good - but took a very long time for it to arrive

Beef in black bean sauce was a bit think , but other than that AMAZING FOOD .

Over 2 hours late and when the food did come it was dry and terrible.

Food was early, still hot and tasted amazing, would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be ordering from here again.

I can't judge any of the first two categories because our food hasn't arrived - despite being and hour and a half late!

I understand that it’s a busy time but honestly it’s very frustrating to be given a 50min lead time upon placing the order for it to then take 2 hours!! You can’t really plan for anything else by that time of night! Not ideal. Plus you forgot my rice.

Great food. Half an hour late but not a problem considering what's going on with Covid-19

One of the dishes (ribs) were uneatable as they were so burnt. We understand there’s a pandemic and orders might be higher so not really bothered about it arriving late it’s the poor quality

Food was great. Delivery was bit late but I understand that with so many people in home isolation probably makes it busier and more difficult than before to hit quoted times so I am still very happy with the service. We waited over two hours for the food with nobody letting us know that the food will be late and nobody answering the phone at the restaurant...we left a note saying please ring when outside and the woman that arrived with the food banged on the door with her fists I think and when we came down she screamed at us lol won’t be ordering again

Mixed veg was expected to be peppers, onions, sweetcorn, mushrooms, etc, all nice and crunchy. But received soft cabbage and carrots. Also, the chips were not good at all. Chicken balls were also very small compared with others we've had. Noodles not the nice thick ones we usually have, like with a chow mein. Quite disappointed with it all.

Sorry to say that this is the last time we will order from here. It was our favorite local go to Chinese but the last few orders have not only been late (just 5 mins this time, but has been worse) but the food has been cold. The food is ok.. But cold is not what we want from a take away.

Food was poor. Overcooked chicken balls, chips dry. Spring rolls had some kind of white coating on them. Chicken satay so full of chilli you could not taste any kind of peanut satay sauce.

Delivery took ages and the food was tepid at best

Always order from Beijing, so sad that their restaurant is now closed to eat inside. Be great to have the option to swap out some items on the celebration feast.

This place was always my favourite in the area, but unfortunately it no longer has a sit down restaurant. However, I missed the food so we ordered a take away. The food is still just as good, nice sized portions and reasonably priced. Placed the order and it was delivered within 30 minutes, still hot and it was delicious. A real shame that the restaurant is no longer open but well worth trying the take away.

Food burnt or just not tasting good.went without food and refund

Food was late, expected delivery once ordered went up from 60 to 90 minutes and we ended up waiting over 2 hours. This was the 2nd time we ordered from here and the 2nd time it was over 2 hour delivery. Food is ok but I would recommend collection only

Food was great but would appreciate the true delivery time. When we were ordering it said 45-50 mins. Once we placed they order it told us 90 minutes then the delivery was 30 minutes late - so 2 hours from the time we delivered!!!

Have used this take away lots of times and have also eaten in, always been good... This time it was well below the usual standard, the chicken curry was inedible as it was so oily, roast pork chow main bland, spring rolls were over cooked. Very disappointed

Have used this restaurant for about 40 yrs. A few years ago I felt let down by the food, but all is forgiven! Ordered a take away to be delivered. Not only was it on time, but it was delicious! No grease, no MSG aftertaste.....just very well prepared, well proportioned servings of some amazing Chinese classics. Highly recommended!

Never ever order again, having recommended to friends in the past I was shocked by the service tonight. It took 3 hours and they then took it to the wrong address and then accused me of purposely doing this- what? Please avoid horrendous attitude towards loyal customers.

Do not eat here. They first delivered to the wrong address and then claimed we gave the incorrect home address!!! After several calls, they eventually said they would send the order out again but accused us of scheming with the address they delivered too. Absolutely shocking!!!

Although stating it was 30 mins late does not sound a great deal the issue was that after ordering and paying for it we got a delivery time of 8.15pm. We put the order in at 6.40pm so by the time it arrived it was 2 hours of waiting.

£40 and only 2 dishes we edible, Thai red chicken curry smelt off, spring roll smelt old, chicken balls had a bad smell too, Singapore noodles were nice as was chicken fried rice, left the rest will not order again, shame as really wanted this Chinese to be good as only 1 other on just eat that deliver to us and that was poor too

I understand that the electrics had failed but there was no way of getting hold of the restaurant to get an update. There was no offer of a discount either which is a shame as the food was good.

Ordered here about 4 times now, food is very nice but the delivery is always late - usually around an hour. I've tried pre-ordering for 2 hours time and the food still turned up 40mins late. Service would be rated higher if they gave an apology for the lateness, heads up on the delay or a free drink/side to make up for the delay.

Hands down the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Over two hour wait. Strangest salt pepper ribs, dry duck, I paid £40 which I won’t get back should of got a rustla burger 😭😭

So disappointed. I can’t rate the quality of the food since it HAS NOT ARRIVED 2 hours and 25 minutes after I’ve ordered it. I have tribe over 150 times to contact the restaurant with no success. The restaurant has my phone number also and has not advised me of any issues with my order. I will be seeking a refund

Food was not hot just warm they was late and missing parts of my order

Food was ordered for 7pm, but didn't arrive till 7.45. I called restaurant to complain and they said it is nothing to do with them and to ask the delivery driver. I asked her and she said to speak to restaurant! I asked for discount and they refused which was not good. I ordered food for 3, including my daughter but as it was so late she had to eat something else and go to bed. I was very angry and the service was bad. They should have given some money back. Will think again before ordering here next time

Didn’t even come with prawn crackers

Food came hot and very tasty especially the chicken satay. Pork noddles were lovely and not greasy a all to be fair none of the food was. Would most definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Bbq ribs dry and over cooked - difficult to eat. Portion sizes much smaller than competitors in the area, particularly rice and ribs. Delivery was 30 minutes early. Driver said “it’s not my fault, call the restaurant”. No explanation Or apology offered.

Food was very tasty although the chicken satay skewers were a bit fatty for my taste, I don't like thigh meat. Really enjoyed everything else. I requested delivery for 7.30 but it arrived at 6.50 which was unexpected!

Just finished our delicious food from the Beijing. We collected our order which was pretty much on time. It was piping hot, everything cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious.

The spring rolls were very tasty and the ribs were well cooked without being tough. My wife ordered sweet and sour pork which was really nice but was too full to finish it so I finished her share and mine!

Everything arrived piping hot and 10 minutes early. Delicious food as always.

The chow mien from here is hard to beat. Portions wise they’re fair, although the rice portions could do with some improvements. No complaints on delivery, ordered several times and it’s never been late. The restaurant seem to deal with any of our questions relatively quickly. Prices are a little steep for the portions though! Especially having no free prawn crackers! 😂

I ordered on line around 3pm said they would deliver at 7pm it came at 7. 20 didn't let me chose time. Why take so long to perpare and deliver

On time delivery, food was disappointing. Meats overcooked and dry. Pretty poor quality across a large order, won’t do it again.

The food delivered was poor Chicken satay - chicken was chewy and not sure if it was cooked properly. This was binned. Mini spring rolls has no stuffing! These were binned. The egg fried rice had hardly any egg in it! This was also binned. Really poor experience.

Ribs were too salty. Favour of rice and noodles was fine. Just rice was flakey and noodles were dry. Chicken balls are smaller than most places. Was ok

Food ordered at 7.35pm and arrived past 9pm! Service was bad!
