Beijing Chef in Hounslow

This place has definitely got a lot better from the bisto gravy that they appear to have been using in the past. I'm not a big fan of re heating chicken/meat in dishes but needs must I suppose, you get plenty of food for the money. The reason for 4 ⭐ isn't for any reason other than 5 star takeaways just don't exist in Hanworth.

Horrified by how greasy my fish and chips were. I know that it’s all fried food but the chips, fish and wrapper were dripping in oil, so much so we can not eat them and have had to go back out and buy another take away. When I called to complain they offered me free chips next time I come and told me ‘well they are deep fried’. Staff were rude multiple times on the phone. Chow mein isn’t great either!

Tried to surcharge me for card payment. This is illegal. Always asking for cash, tax avoidance should not be supported. Don’t buy anything from there!

The service was so bad the driver went to the wrong address

I was thoroughly impressed. The flavors were authentic and vibrant, with each dish perfectly seasoned. The Kung Pao chicken had just the right amount of spice, while the sweet and sour chicken was a delightful. I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious Chinese food!

Their food is really good (got that personal/ generous touch to it), much better than typical Chinese take away else where. Their chicken dumplings & king prawn udon are delightful. Service is amazing, really hard working bunch of guys 👏

Have ordered food through uber eats before,even though they £3.50 delivery. Lately they have increased minimum purchase of £18 ,thats fine but now as restaurant on uber eats shows 3.7 miles my order was cancelled stating its 4.7 miles. Now they are charging delivery fees so whats extra mile? Think they have gone big headed and using their own drivers ciunting pennies. I find that sheer greediness.

Absolutely shocking, just brought battered sausage, spring roll, chips & curry sauce... The battered sausage was like crispy beef and clearly left over from the day before & clearly not good enough for a dog but they obviously thought it was good enough for human consumption, the meat spring roll was a vegetable one, chips portion was a child's one & the curry sauce went over the evening.... They used to be good back in the day, CLEARLY NOT NOW.... AVOID AT EVERY COST & GO ELSEWHERE, ROBBING CHINESE PEOPLE

Beijing chef Hanworth, best cod and chips around for miles. Delivery is quick, and no hassle, staff are super polite. And I got my Christmas calendar. Amazing 5 star 🎄

Amazing food and personal service! Accomodated my needs as a vegetarian perfectly and created dishes that are not on their menu too i.e crispy salt and pepper mushrooms, absolutely amazing! They added fried tofu to the vegetables in garlic sauce. The Singapore noodles had great flavour too. Everything was fresh and piping hot and delivered within 20 mins! Prices were similar to all other Chinese take aways. Used this place as my regular was closed but will definitely use again!

Cheap looking food ordered many times as I live near and food service is poor and every time I go there they have raised there price 3 times, this will be the last time ordering from there as I found 20pence coin in my food 🤮

Amazing food, great chips. Have continually increased their prices recently. The same meal which cost me £27 here was £13 at another takeaway. Prices now extortionate! Won’t go anymore sadly

I ordered Roast Duck Chinese Style and Salt & Pepper King Prawn & Squid The Roast Duck was in a verry tasty Sauce. I will order again. The King Prawn & Squid was heat up in a Microwave. This i will never order again. The price is to high. The delivery came 20 min after the estimate delivery time. (I ordered from uber eats)

I swear that I order the same thing every time and every time the price is different. Keeps getting more expensive and it seems that they just make up the price in the spot 😅

We ordered our meal for Saturday night with the family using the Ubereats online app and I have never had a worst Chinese take away meal in my life... so bad and disgusted overall, that perhaps a 1 star was generous! We only decided to order, since we had been sent a £12 voucher and in total spent a considerable sum of £57.20 including delivery fees. I had complained to Uber direct but no response or even any acknowledgement. The food was such an absolute disgrace that it made me question the actual site for preparation, assuming that the production line must be one of those back street railway arches somewhere but the surprise is, that this place really exists... how on earth has it been trading so long? I love my food and really enjoy cooking but as a professional restaurant, you should be ashamed of yourselves, sending out such a damnation and honestly, anyone thinking of placing an order from this place, would do far better by popping along to Sainsburys or Tesco and grabbing a set of carry-out family Chinese meal... This food wasn't even fit for a dog! Most of it went in the bin. It was far too salty. The sauce on the lemon chicken was brown and tasted rancid. The shredded chilli beef was surrounded in what looked like congealed fat...there seemed to be no beef in it. The prawn toasts looked like they'd been cooked earlier in the week and reheated - they were burnt. The chicken chow mein was passable. We ended up cooking in the end. My son was so disappointed as this was meant to be a treat. GRIM.

I order from Beijing chef because its just round the corner from me. The last three meals I've had from there have been terrible. The chicken balls were rock hard where they have been reheated about three or four time's. The chicken curry was the white bleached chicken and the prices are going through the roof. I will not be back .

THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. CHARGES ARE HIGH AND NOT TOLD TILL I ORDERED SO CANCELLED MY ORDER AS SICK OF THEM AND OTHER CHINESES WANTING CASH. SOONER MAKE A SANDWICH THEN KEEP PAYING CASH IN THEIR HAND!!!!

We ordered dinner via Uber Eats. The waiting time was 35-45min which was fine. Once we completed the order the times showing as the latest delivery was 90min. We had no choice but wait. 10 min before the latest delivery time was due we got an email that our order has been cancelled! Outrageous! I will never order here again. I tried complaining to Uber Eats but the info they gave us was that when the restaurant is too busy it can cancel the order with no charge. Just rubbish!

Ordered a delivery last night ,polite guy on the phone took my order,food turned up within 30mins all correct and piping hot ,generous portions,couldn't fault anything will definitely use again ,highly reccomend ,Thank you Beijing Chef

I was abit skeptical at trying this place but then I decided why not! My usual place was closed. And I have to say this place was delicious! I would highly recommend! Everything was hot and fresh!

We just ordered food from here via Uber Eats. We ordered Vegetable Fried Rice, Vegetables in Black Bean Sauce, Shrimp Chow Mein and Hot & Sour Soup. I have to say we are beyond disappointed. Now, I know if you are vegetarian then Chinese food is probably not the best take away to choose, but we used to be meat-eaters and we’ve had our fair share of Chinese, from meat to vegetarian and everything in between. The food was of very poor quality. It looked like it had just been reheated and sent to us. The veggies in the food look med old and stale. I would never order from here again.
