Beer+Burger in Camden

Was heading to a completely different restaurant and came across this place. Great beer and very tasty food. Staff friendly and helpful about both beer and the food menu.

Something odd about the score here. The place does excellent food and has a superb beer range. Service was perfectly good. Given the place a top score because the reviews aren’t reflective of the place and it deserves a top score.

Unnecessarily rude experience, really quite strange interactions with two members of staff. Firstly, upon arrival when I approached a woman behind a till to inform her I had made a reservation and she stared at me blankly and didn’t respond but just nodded. Secondly, the younger woman that bought us our food was very unhappy and made it known when we asked her for condiments or even just where the toilets are. A very strange experience and that’s coming from a Londoner who expects very little from hospitality staff. Definitely won’t be coming back.

We come here once a week. Jess was amazing with us, very knowledgeable about the beers and food available but the management was horrible and left us with a sour taste in our mouths,

Visited with my husband and our two teenagers. Visited a lot during the summer and always had good service so was expecting the same. Food was good so giving it two stars overall for that, service however was rubbish. We visited around 6pm, so expected it to be busy obviously, the place however was a mess. Boxes of drinks, paper towels, other stock just piled up in the middle of the floor so with the people also in there it was difficult to move around. The fridge had very few drinks in it so we asked if we could buy one of the ones in said boxes to be told no it hadn’t been counted yet. Ok fair enough. There was a woman at the counter chatting to two members of staff while she tried a number of the beers on tap, I literally heard her say ‘oh can I try that one’ before they handed her another drink so she was definitely sampling not buying. Slightly annoying as like I said it was busy and I’m pretty sure one member of staff could have helped her but there you go, as there were very few drink choices in the fridge my husband asked if he could try one of the draft beers to see if he liked it before buying, he was rudely told ‘no we don’t do that’ as the guy pulled another sample for the woman and handed it to her. Gave the impression these two were fighting for her attention and obviously a middle aged man didn’t hold the same appeal so no drinks for him. Gave up trying to get a drink and ordered food. Took a fair while but it’s all made fresh so that’s fine and like I said the food was good but some of the staff seem to think it’s a hang out spot for them rather than somewhere to work which is a shame.

Very overpriced. Would strongly recommend going elsewhere. Burgers were very flat and unsubstantial and fries were terrible. Marginally better that McDonalds, for 8 x the price.

Random find after a work conference in a near by venue. Great selection of craft beers!! On a Tuesday 50% off burgers so for five people with sides and drinks came to £85. The wings were great, the burgers really hood and I had the dirty fries which were spot on. Very feeling good portions. For food and speed and price is why I give them 5 stars!! Only feedback is where we sat it looked messy as throngs were stacked up but only observation .

Good range of craft beers on tap and also in cans. Wide price range. Worth visiting for a drink. Cheese Burger and fries - served fairly quickly. Tasted fine but too oily for me.

Recommended to try this place few years back but never got round to it. Burger was good but maybe it’s not as good as it once was. Had better.

Rude staff and management. The cheeseburger and fries wasn’t good It’s a shame it use to be so good there …

The worse order I have ever made! Waited an hour for my cheeseburger which arrived overly cooked and burnt to the point the patty was rock hard!?

I wanted a quick break and had a fantastic craft beer and a quick bacon cheeseburgerthat was served quickly and was of a reasonable quality and just what I wanted.

Absolutely awful burger joint, massively over hyped. Burger was over cooked, sauce was over used to drown the taste of a dry burger. Fries are an absolute disgrace. Just cheap run of the mill ones any supermarket would sell. Disgusting for the price.

Bad customer service Signed up to their mailing list to receiving a £5 off voucher, however upon presenting my email they claimed their system was down and they couldn’t process it. They refused to take the £5 off the till. I didn’t feel it was worth ~£15 for a burger without sides. Will not be returning or recommending.

Whilst waiting for my delivery, the waiter stated 5 minutes and your order will be ready. I then waited another 5 minutes and ask the same waiter where’s my order. He replied back ‘I don’t know I don’t work in the kitchen.’ I then promoted him if he could ask the kitchen staff how long my order will take and he simply ignored me. I ask another staff member behind the counter if he could inform me how long my order will take. He came back to me and stated minimum 10 -15 minutes. So from originally stated 5 minutes, I ended up waiting for a simple burger and chips 40 minutes! It seems that on a Friday night they could not organise a piss up in a brewery, not alone they have the simplest menu available on order. Lost a customer.

Went to an Art Fair, around the corner and had free chips vouchers at B&B. I then ordered 3 burgers with chips. I then cancelled one burger (this was literally one minute after I made the intitial order, as I checked my phone log, after friend called to cancel one burger/chips) Immediately went to cashier, who wasn't sure but said he'd check as burger may have been made. Find this hard to believe after a minute! He then asked his manager, who turned round flatly and said it was too late! In other words, we've got your £31.50, tough! I was very surprised as he didn't sympathise at all. So gave the burger away to a stranger. Chicken, inside burger was also very small. Definitely, wouldn't come again! Better chicken burgers joints about and far far cheaper!!!

Friendly welcome, extensive choice of beers (highly recommend the pina colada sour), menu basic and not a vast choice but the food that came was amazing so well worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Great selection of beers, simple but good menu. The burger of the month rotation is very good. But the gravy fries are the best item in the menu.

Staff were very nice, but I thought the burger was very gristly (would like to know where they get their mince, because it seems a bit cheap tbh) so wouldn't get it again. Nice range of beers though.

Poor service as per usual. Sat for 20 minutes while everyone else had their orders taken, including people that had arrived after us. Not the first time it’s happened here either. Wouldn’t recommend.

The service today was amazing. Very speedy and great, professional members of staff. They should all be proud of themselves. Really great. Will return next week for the half price burgers on Tuesdays!

Good hamburgers and chips, good beers but very impersonal and cold surrounding. Staff not overly helpful, quite expensive.

The burgers here are just amazing, had the bacon cheese along with fried jalapenos....all the burgers I've had worldwide this has just gone into my top 3, highly recommended......the craft beer here is amazing too, excellent choice top beer........

I visited here with my wife after seeing it near to Kings Cross Station where I go past most days. The selection of local and foreign beers on draught is like 20 varieties and the selection of bottles/cans is close to may be 50 or...

I really enjoyed my chicken burger - succulent, tasty and great buns. The halloumi chips were superb - so good we went back for a second round. You order at a desk but the service is really quick.

This is what a burger should be.. simple menu with full flavor and taste.. and beers for every mind and mood 😊😄 We are all very positive surprised.. and the vegan option is also one of the best tasted... See you again..

When they opened the burgers were juicy delicious and almost impossible to finish because of their size. That soon changed. As did their delicious gravy. It's just not the same. The last time I went I ordered a take out and I wasn't surprised but...

Beers was great, burgers were cheap and nasty totally overpriced and overrated. Had better burgers from a roadside van. Avoid avoid avoid!
