Beechwood Farm - Dining & Carvery in North East Lincolnshire

Lovely sausages, bacon overcooked, no toast eggs ok wife said scrambled eggs very good hash browns good black pudding chewy, food in general only warm

I haven't been in since it's refurb, it feels very bright and welcoming and the staff are helpful and friendly the food is lovely

Had our Christmas meal here tonight. Ross was excellent, had Christmas crackers on the table too. Food was lovely, quick and hot. Would definitely recommend!

Really nice food, kids play area excellent and the service was also superb. One of the waitresses Amber was really attentive and helpful.

Food was undercooked was a hour late got my order wrong as well the staff was ignorant and I had to find my own table that I had to clean would not recommend the people that came in after me got my tickets for my carvery

I really enjoy our trips to Beechwood farm food is great. It gets very busy on a Sunday and parking might be a bit tricky.

Ordered the fully loaded chicken strips, when they come it was cold and they said it would be ready in 3 minutes so definitely microwaved.!!

Lovely visit today Sunday 24th November. Even though we were early Beth and Ross got us seated in such a quick time which is appreciated with our small children Carvery was amazing and kids meals came out within ten minutes so credit to kitchen team too We will definitely come back again

Came to beachwood farm today about 5pm on Sunday I was pleasantly surprised by knowledgeable young lads on the bar she knows her drinks the carvery I had with my wife was below average spuds hard lack of selection in the veg gravy was watery i asked for the manager and this man came over all I wanted to do is tell him how to improve when he finally came to my table I was watching him when the staff member told him I wanted to talk to I watched him probably go for a cig ten minutes later he finally came with a chip on his shoulder and very arrogant towards me and my wife I asked him what was his problem all he could say was what did I know about food I know a far bit as I’m a trained chef and just wanted to treat my wife I will never go again

Extremely busy, large queue for the carvery but worth the wait, only one complaint and it was the music, blooming awful and far to loud.

Brilliant evening overall, absolutely amazing food. Staff were very lovely and patient, Ellie was very helpful on the bar with her extensive whiskey knowledge. Atmosphere 4/5 as hoovering was started around 9 where we were sat when food was still being served till 10. Would 100% recommended to anyone who wants a good hearty meal, in a nice venue and an overall good time.

My wife and I nearly always choose Beechwood Farm for carvery in Grimsby/Cleethorpes. It never disappoints. The food is fantastic and the serving staff was great! Tonight we met a newer staff that we had never seen at Beechwood. Kaylee was outstanding, I would not have expected anything less. 😁🙂

For the cost of breakfast and drinks, the food was very poor, hash browns had no flavour just tasted of oil. The sausages aren't very nice at all and overcooked, the bacon you've got to dig around for the right pieces.

The food is always hot and appetizing lots of choice on the carvery and menu. The play area is fab to keep little ones entertained.

Great service.! Mandy, from the restaurant, went over and above to help us find the right table for my disabled mum. She was very caring and considered our needs, even checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable. The carvery was amazing .... I'm so pleased we all had the small plate meals, as we are not big eaters, so that option was perfect! Thank you Beechwood, for a fab meal and friendly service, we will most certainly be back soon!

Beechwood Farm and Goodtogo is a definite No No. Twice in 2 weeks I ordered a carvery and there was tiny little scraps of turkey, not enough to feed a mouse and burnt roast potatoes. The second time (giving them the benefit of doubt) hardly any meat and black inedible parsnips and roast potatoes again. Cheap leftover carvery? Not if you can’t eat it. Wish I could post a photo

Visited at 6pm on a weekday during half. Despite the carvery running bare, they continued to sell these. I appreciate it was half term and had been busy but the obvious solution would have been to stop selling these. We would have happily ordered from the menu. It's also not fair to put the staff jn this position

Four of us had a meal here yesterday & we couldn't manage a pudding. Grandaughter went for a large carvery with pigs in blankets & she thoroughly enjoyed it on her first visit. The remaining had Hunters Chicken & Lasagne. Chips were crispy & fluffy on the inside. Understand they do puddings to take home but we will give those a go another time.

Great breakfast buffet food hot and plentiful

There was a table booked for 7 people. we waited over an hour for food. Plus it was absolutely freezing in the place, everyone sat eating with coats on. When the food eventually arrived most of it was cold especially the fries, steak, mushroons, wraps etc! Most of the food was just left. However staff was polite.

Pretty good food but is a bit hit and miss. Had more good meals than bad though

Booked a "warm, comfortable table for a birthday celebration" after 50 minutes asked to move "someone else has asked specifically for this table"?! Moved to a cold table by the front door, drinks machine and reception area, together with cold draught, next to a bin! Cold, noisy and busy. Unacceptable treatment of regular patrons, very unhappy.

Today was the second time we attempted to access the carvery and cake for £10 deal and yet again the cake was unavailable. Since the refurbishment, the carvery is much nicer but it is very unfair to run a deal that you don't actually have. We went in at 6pm on both occasions so definitely not at the end of service time. Was considering Boxing Day for a family meal but wouldn't risk it in case they 'run out.' Very disappointed. The service however is very good and the the waitress tonight in particular was very helpful.

Been again today, super value, good quality food, staff happy and friendly, tables & furniture clean - I don't know why people bother with rubbish American fast food when carverys as good as this are very similar cost. Fantastic that you also have good EV chargers, my car was as full as I was. I'll be back 👍

Went for dinner Sunday and found the Beef grizzly and inedible Young lady noted i was struggling to even cut the meat and took the plate away to attempt to change I'll give them a further attempt at getting it right next week

The food was generally OK but couple of moans the cauliflower cheese was very dry I think they forgot the cheese sauce the Yorkshire puddings are my favourite my husband always gives me his but today they were inedible

Went for a Sunday carvery was the best one yet. Food was so good I ate it all and that's something I usually don't do

Took the father in law for his 80th birthday meal. We were given incredible service the whole night. Our meals came out about the same time, we were able to sort out seating area to suit. We just felt very looked after, the staff especially Mandy couldn’t do enough for us. One complaint, we preferred the sauce for the chicken medley separate as it’s now already on the chicken. Other than that tiny issue, fabulous night. Thanks to the staff for a brilliant night, totally appreciate the service. 🥰

Went in for a meal i complained as the food was under cooked and a lady called Karen was so rude basically said like it or lump it management need to send her for further training no people skills at all told her I was gonna complain and leave bad review she said do it!!!!

Visited today, 12/10/2024. And after a previous experience, which was excellent. This was a disaster. We waited 40 minutes for Our Mains. My Order of Gammon Steaks with Pineapple and Egg was a joke. The Gammon had been seared on the griddle to make it appear. Pretty. It was Burnt. Pineapple arrived the same way. The egg could have bounced the length of the A/M180. The chips were all the tough, crispy bits that are fit for the bin. The peas 🫛 were Superb. We ordered Desserts. 2 came to the table. After a few minutes we asked where the other 2 were. They were packed to take Away. 1 was Apple Crumble, and Custard, in a takeaway box. Surely someone could've queried if that was CORRECT. Staff were NOT VERY HELPFUL. Except a young lass on the glasses who witnessed the Farce, and she asked if we were OK. She went out of her way to sort it out. Bless her. And thank her for her help. The desserts came back. AGAIN, packed for Takeaway. Absolute joke. We are NOT GOING BACK THERE AGAIN.

Kids wanted a carvery tonight so that's the first positive for me :) My partner Aimee was at work this evening late. So I had all 3 boys on my own. Safe to say I was struggling in the que. Kaylee a staff member came to the rescue. She helped me with my youngest while I sorted the other two boys. She stayed with my boy at the table and had him in tears laughing. She wasn't asked to help she just came through. This is the type of customer service that makes a place. 3 kids on my own should of been a nightmare but was made a dream. Thank you Kaylee

Came here for my mums early 50th birthday. Loved the meal great prices. I had my first chicken tikka masala I loved it cooked to perfection, though there could have been a bit more sauce. Amy came to wait on our table, she was super nice. I’m from Cornwall and would happily go to a farmhouse inn again. I was not happy about the cakes being on display by the entrance/exit. 😂😂😂 too much temptation to just sand in front of it and dream of tasting every piece of those cakes. Was painful to just walk out.

Two of us decided to be healthy last Friday and both ordered a £9.99 salad. What a disappointment! Each plate had a very small slice of ham and turkey, a small spoon of coleslaw, curly lettuce and a few pieces of onion and pepper and half a dozen wafer thin slices of cucumber. When we queried the lack of tomatoes at the very least (which were actually named on the menu!) we were told that the tomatoes had to be thrown away as they were out of date! Our server was very apologetic but obviously this was out of their hands. We are now thinking twice about returning to Beechwood

Still haven't mastered the art of frying fish and garlic mushrooms will defo be giving them a miss if we go back Seems brighter and looks cleaner since refurb

Great atmosphere, warm family feeling, just like you’re at home with your parents. Quick exceptional service by Robert, service with a great smile! He eveb checked how our meal was and if there’s anything he can do for us, couldn’t be any better! Had a great huge table reserved for 10 of us. The meal was delicious, hot and so much to choose from! Couldn’t be happier with this lovely carvery! 10/10 would definitely come again, a very happy customer.
