Beechwood Farm - Dining & Carvery in North East Lincolnshire

On arrival it was clear that it was very busy as expected. We were seated at our table by a gentleman with a wave in the general area of our table so bad start but we understood it was very busy and sat awaiting a member of staff to get a drink order but that never came. Then our starters appeared out of nowhere we hadn't even asked for them, so we asked about drinks they said to order at the bar. The qué was quite long at this point so we wish we had been given information at the point of being seated as we understood this would all be table service. But we sat and had our starters. Then awaiting our main after fifteen mins we enquired about how long mains would be to be told it was self service carvery. We were shocked as our starter had been table service and this is what we expected for £250+ But we waited for the qué to go down and got that The meal was lovely and the staff smiley. The ladies doing the tables were absolutely fantastic especially Jacqueline and Lisa. Once the majority of people had eaten and gone the place calmed down but during this tough time nothing was to much for either of these ladies even with being in such high demand. I even saw Lisa walking with a gentleman unsure on his feet to dish his food for him. A lovely sight to see and Jacqueline kept popping over to our table to check all was okay after our confusion and even helped with getting our desert to take away as we were all stuffed x

Had a great time today at beechwood farm for my brothers birthday the food was great the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome the weather wasn't great but the play area inside kept my nieces entertained would highly recommend if you want great food and a service with a smile

As always another great visit to Beechwood farm. From the bar staff, waitresses and chefs everyone always greets you with a smile and makes you feel very welcome. We were a family of six of mixed ages and mixed appetites, we were all catered for including me when asked about any allergies which is a relief to be taken seriously. Well done Beechwood, we will be back!

I had a lovely evening with my boyfriend, came in for my birthday dinner, the service was lovely! Nothing but smiles and full bellies!

Lovely and quiet after school time during the week. Service was excellent and so was the food.

Breakfast with Santa: Only redeeming feature is Santa knows what he's doing. He's not the most authentic looking Santa but hes clearly experienced and great at what he does. Actual event was carnage. No direction of what to do. Kids running and screaming everywhere with abandoned shoes all over the place. No parental control, staff looked like they too were surprised by Christmas with Santa and had no idea that it was happening. Actually I hope that's what happened because it would explain the general sense of cluelessness from the majority of them. Burnt toast, cremated bacon and long queues. No general sense of Christmas aside from Santa and a random cracker hurled on the table. Couldn't even get crackers with suitable kids surprises inside? Never ever again.

Took the kids for “Breakfast with Santa” again this year. The kids loved it and have to say this is the best Santa we have seen and that includes the expensive visit to Brigg Farm.

Busy, waited at seating area, another party came in and stood in front of us, staff member had noticed this and seated us first, this showed they cared for customer service. Long story short, had carveries, food excellent, service excellent, atmosphere as to expected at this busy festive time. Only critique was the beef was sliced a little thinly, but overall a lovely lunch...

Booked a family Xmas get together here, as we came last year & thought it was really good. This year will be our last though. The service was shocking, no direction or instructions, no help. Meal was booked for 12.30 & we didn't get our starters until nearly an hour later. We pulled the crackers & asked a waitress (who was stood doing nothing for most of our time there) if we could have a bag to collect all the cracker rubbish off our table...she literally just gave us a bag then went off to stand doing nothing again. So we cleaned up. We had no instructions on how we get our carvery course (the previous year we had been given tickets) I asked the doing nothing waitress who didn't seem to know. The servers behind the carvery section told us...we needed the hats from the crackers on in order to get a carvery...quite a few had been ruined by kids playing or chucked already so we had to scramble about trying to find some. No apology from anyone for not telling us sooner. After that sorted, food was nice. Service again poor. When we paid the bill the guy behind the bar made a mistake redeeming all the deposits to one family so had to wait whilst a 1 year screaming outside until 2 other members of staff tried to sort it. Again no apology. Felt like you've really let yourselves down in terms of service standards this year. Last year i think even management came over to check on us being a bigger party of 15. So yeah sadly you've lost a customer (or 15).

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is lovely. We had a Christmas set meal and the table was set with tablecloth and crackers, all very festive. The prices are excellent too.

A party of 20 booked the festive menu. All meals were lovely and managed to get them all out together. We weren't rushed to leave our tables so a lovely relaxed and fun night had by all. Thankyou to all the staff that served with a smile on their faces. We will definetly be returning thanks again.

Food was undercooked was a hour late got my order wrong as well the staff was ignorant and I had to find my own table that I had to clean would not recommend the people that came in after me got my tickets for my carvery

Lovely visit today Sunday 24th November. Even though we were early Beth and Ross got us seated in such a quick time which is appreciated with our small children Carvery was amazing and kids meals came out within ten minutes so credit to kitchen team too We will definitely come back again

Came to beachwood farm today about 5pm on Sunday I was pleasantly surprised by knowledgeable young lads on the bar she knows her drinks the carvery I had with my wife was below average spuds hard lack of selection in the veg gravy was watery i asked for the manager and this man came over all I wanted to do is tell him how to improve when he finally came to my table I was watching him when the staff member told him I wanted to talk to I watched him probably go for a cig ten minutes later he finally came with a chip on his shoulder and very arrogant towards me and my wife I asked him what was his problem all he could say was what did I know about food I know a far bit as I’m a trained chef and just wanted to treat my wife I will never go again

Extremely busy, large queue for the carvery but worth the wait, only one complaint and it was the music, blooming awful and far to loud.

Ordered the fully loaded chicken strips, when they come it was cold and they said it would be ready in 3 minutes so definitely microwaved.!!

Brilliant evening overall, absolutely amazing food. Staff were very lovely and patient, Ellie was very helpful on the bar with her extensive whiskey knowledge. Atmosphere 4/5 as hoovering was started around 9 where we were sat when food was still being served till 10. Would 100% recommended to anyone who wants a good hearty meal, in a nice venue and an overall good time.

My wife and I nearly always choose Beechwood Farm for carvery in Grimsby/Cleethorpes. It never disappoints. The food is fantastic and the serving staff was great! Tonight we met a newer staff that we had never seen at Beechwood. Kaylee was outstanding, I would not have expected anything less. 😁🙂

For the cost of breakfast and drinks, the food was very poor, hash browns had no flavour just tasted of oil. The sausages aren't very nice at all and overcooked, the bacon you've got to dig around for the right pieces.

Great service.! Mandy, from the restaurant, went over and above to help us find the right table for my disabled mum. She was very caring and considered our needs, even checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable. The carvery was amazing .... I'm so pleased we all had the small plate meals, as we are not big eaters, so that option was perfect! Thank you Beechwood, for a fab meal and friendly service, we will most certainly be back soon!

Visited at 6pm on a weekday during half. Despite the carvery running bare, they continued to sell these. I appreciate it was half term and had been busy but the obvious solution would have been to stop selling these. We would have happily ordered from the menu. It's also not fair to put the staff jn this position

Beechwood Farm and Goodtogo is a definite No No. Twice in 2 weeks I ordered a carvery and there was tiny little scraps of turkey, not enough to feed a mouse and burnt roast potatoes. The second time (giving them the benefit of doubt) hardly any meat and black inedible parsnips and roast potatoes again. Cheap leftover carvery? Not if you can’t eat it. Wish I could post a photo

Four of us had a meal here yesterday & we couldn't manage a pudding. Grandaughter went for a large carvery with pigs in blankets & she thoroughly enjoyed it on her first visit. The remaining had Hunters Chicken & Lasagne. Chips were crispy & fluffy on the inside. Understand they do puddings to take home but we will give those a go another time.

Great breakfast buffet food hot and plentiful

There was a table booked for 7 people. we waited over an hour for food. Plus it was absolutely freezing in the place, everyone sat eating with coats on. When the food eventually arrived most of it was cold especially the fries, steak, mushroons, wraps etc! Most of the food was just left. However staff was polite.

Pretty good food but is a bit hit and miss. Had more good meals than bad though

Booked a "warm, comfortable table for a birthday celebration" after 50 minutes asked to move "someone else has asked specifically for this table"?! Moved to a cold table by the front door, drinks machine and reception area, together with cold draught, next to a bin! Cold, noisy and busy. Unacceptable treatment of regular patrons, very unhappy.

Today was the second time we attempted to access the carvery and cake for £10 deal and yet again the cake was unavailable. Since the refurbishment, the carvery is much nicer but it is very unfair to run a deal that you don't actually have. We went in at 6pm on both occasions so definitely not at the end of service time. Was considering Boxing Day for a family meal but wouldn't risk it in case they 'run out.' Very disappointed. The service however is very good and the the waitress tonight in particular was very helpful.

Been again today, super value, good quality food, staff happy and friendly, tables & furniture clean - I don't know why people bother with rubbish American fast food when carverys as good as this are very similar cost. Fantastic that you also have good EV chargers, my car was as full as I was. I'll be back 👍

Breakfast was fresh, hot, and tasty

Went for dinner Sunday and found the Beef grizzly and inedible Young lady noted i was struggling to even cut the meat and took the plate away to attempt to change I'll give them a further attempt at getting it right next week

The food was generally OK but couple of moans the cauliflower cheese was very dry I think they forgot the cheese sauce the Yorkshire puddings are my favourite my husband always gives me his but today they were inedible
