Beccafico in Bournemouth

Really cool little place, very stylishly decorated, and has a real buzz about the place - it all feels very authentic. The Tapas Thursday is great very and you get a great choice of dishes. The pizza nights are enjoyable to. Very friendly service and has a great Italian vibe to it all.

Visited here with friends on Saturday and the food was superb. A great spot with excellent service and brilliant tapas dishes. Will definitely return.

Wednesday night tapas with hubby! Wow what great food, perfect portions. Beccy is a very nice owner who makes everything and other lady made the pastries which also looked lovely. Good service, we shall be back.

6 of us went on a Saturday evening (table booked for 7.30pm). The food was very good and the waitress, although busy, was efficient and helpful. However, the noise levels in the room were just so unbelievably and deafeningly high we could barely hear each other. It wasn’t loud music; just loud people. There were two other groups of extremely loud /shouty people, who were drinking and talking excessively loudly, so much so that it made normal conversation at our table completely impossible. Unfortunately, the acoustics in the bar aren’t designed for any noise absorption, so the walls and fittings just reverberated the racket. We have frequently gone in for coffee, late morning, after tennis at our local club, and there’s no problem with noise at those times. However, evenings seem different, and, much as we enjoyed the food, sadly I don’t think we’ll be going back to eat on an evening, especially at weekends, when it morphs into a noisy drinkers’ bar. The waitress did a great job (despite the noise). I have given feedback to the management but received no response.

Popped in whilst cycling past, and what a good idea. It has a good selection of tapas and some great beers. Some tapas better than others, as usual for any tapas bar, but generally very good all around. Clean place, welcoming staff, what more could you want.

Plenty of choices. Some better than others but this is after all a tapas place so that's OK :-) Service very friendly and quite quick. Table layout and seating pretty awful but they managed to serve a lot of people fast.

I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it didn't quite hit the mark. Really lovely atmosphere and fab service but the food was just a bit average. Would pop back for an evening drink or maybe coffee and cake but dinner just didn't deliver any wow factor.

We come here often as we are local. We love the food- small dishes area great way to eat and we love the range on offer. Favourites such as meatballs and arancini are always available but Becky varies the other small dishes monthly. The staff are great and the atmosphere is just so friendly and relaxed. Always a winner!

They change their menu every month - I like that. The staff are friendly and helpful - I like that. The menu is simple - I like that. They have small dishes - I like that. Wine menu is small - I like that. It's a small, unpretentious, tapas place - I like that.

Great little place, however terrible terrible service, Sunday lunchtime and we were the only people there and we had to constantly get up and order at the bar, 2 girls there both on there phones all lunchtime, they Ned to change that but basically a great little bar

Booked a table for two after a recommendation and was not disappointed. Good selection of dishes, with the arancini nduja and the sea bream, fennel and orange being our favourites.

love the coffee here, they have done up their outside area too recently. Nice selection of small plates and paninis

Coffee and Arancini take away as we’re in lockdown. Both were great! Very convenient for Tuckton and the the river. Service with a smile and the restaurant looks really nice. We’ll be back to try more of the menu.

Just opened sited in the heart of Tuckton shops. A friendly welcome from the owner. Fresh brewed coffee and a selection of pizzas are available. Breakfast too if to come early. I think this place will become one year f our favourites.
