Rather expensive for what it is

Loved this place. Food was delicious. Good service, very clean. Only downside for me was the toilets are up very steep stairs. Not good for my bad knees....

Really nice.upstairs restaurant very pleasant atmosphere.we had a fish platter plus calamares and whitebait all freshly cooked and served by friendly staff.

Rated 5 stars last year - Great views to be enjoyed if you are luck to get a good enough seat. Priced in their favour because of its location. The food was nice - halloumi and pesto burger was great and we now make it at home. 2 stars as end of June 2019 - came here again for lunch but staff member was awkward. Apparantly its not possible to do kids portions as dividing a meal in half and charging half is not possible??? So we had to pay £14.95 for a meal for each child. Wanting to make the best of our last day in saundersfoot with a gorgeous view we ordered the fish platter as a treat. The photo is of the meal costing £37.95 plus an extra £1 upgrade for sweet potato fries and an exta £1 for the cheesey garlic potatoes. This is a sharing platter for 2 and compared to the other fish places we ate at was pretty poor in price vs quantity AND quality of the food. Good thing they were only willing to sell adult portions to the kids. The manager apologised in broken english (not a local) but we won't be back next year.

Its a lovely location on Saundersoot sea front, and the food is enjoyable.

Don't get me wrong there is nobody who enjoys putting hot sausage inside of me but a man can only take so much meat I am at fault because I ordered three large burgers It was far too much meat for one as fragile as me I am sorry to have to report that I messed my pants This happened as I made my way back to my rented accommodation It wasn't a pleasurable experience washing my pants in the bath of a shared bathroom I have to admit that if I hadn't messed myself, I would probably have given four stars But what is a messed up man to do?

Friendly service .. hot fresh tasty food .. nicely presented dishes .. good acoustics .. (some of the golden oldies playing were not great then or now) .. overall though the meal was a surprise hit .. I could recommend this restaurant to my family .. the views are stunning.

Lovely food and great views.Really good for families

Gone here for years. Always like the fish and in particular the salad dressing. So disappointed today. Fish looked and tastes like it had been cooked twice and no salad dressing on my chefs salad. Waiters were slow. Sorry won't be going back after this visit.

Me and my family have had dinner here for many years on our holiday and has always been very good this year however was disappointing. First off we didn't get offered a drink and we waited and waited then I had to ask for one as it was getting embarassing.secondly when the food came out my son realised that the pulled pork on his burger had no barbecue sauce on it,when I complaind the waitress then brought out some salsa so I had to complain again.In all this time our food had near enough gone cold.great service for £80 odd pounds worth of burgers.Think I'm going to struggle to visit this restaurant again seems to have gone right downhill.shame

.....honestly the best food we have had in a long while. The food came out quickly and it tastes so fresh. The meat platters are amazing and the service is 2nd to none out waitress Jemima was an absolute Angel and Isaac the runner was so attentive. Would travel the distance over and over to enjoy this meal again. Thank you for having us.

Great location, staff are very friendly. However the food wasn't great... The ribs tasted like smoked mackerel, I was assured they do not use the same grill however. My partner's burger was raw, not even pink which is worrying. I'm sure it was an off day and would probably give it another go in the future

It's known for being a sea food restaurant, especially as the fish etc is locally caught and cooked. Because of this its not cheap. But we'll worth the visit. I happen to not like fish, but I had smothered chicken and sweet potato gets. I have never tasted chicken as nice anywhere else. It was fabulous. The views are incredible, looking right over the sea. On the day we went there the weather was superb. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Don't go to this restaurant if you're vegetarian, we tried the vegetable skewers, had a half hour wait and when they came the veg was raw, waitress was very apologetic and helpful but food was rubbish if you don't eat fish or meat

Lovely smoked brisket with burnt ends. Kids had burger and cod bites. All very fresh and yummy milk shakes are amazing too.

Views overlooking the bay. Great waitress polite and answered questions. Checked origin of lamb. Australia! In Wales! Had Welsh beef instead. Food arrived in timely manner and was well presented. My wife had same meal but her salad was mainly onion. I had mainly green leaf. So that was good but if it had been other way round I would have not been happy. Consistently needed. So why did I give 5 stars? Overall price and experience was enough to overlook the salad issue. Lamb from Australia was not really excusable but the music played was great i'm easily brought. So hopefully in the future Lamb will be WELSH

Stunning views out to sea . First class food. Very clean and well decorated. Very relaxing and friendly staff.

Booked a table with a view, slow taking our order then after waiting 70 minutes we had to ask where our food was, only to be told it hadn't been put through to the kitchen. 90 minutes to get 2 salads which one wasn't what was ordered when it eventually arrived. Spolit the last night of our holiday, food wasn't that good either. Won't be visiting again if we are in the area.

This restaurant is owned by the same people as own the St Brides Hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful so we had high hopes for the restaurant. Very disappointing. Poor to average food. Minimal flavour, portions lacking and for a BBQ diner to run out of ribs by 7pm is actually bordering on funny. Toilets are also dirty and smelly. This place really lets down the St. Brides name. For value burgers for kids that won't expect much it's perfect but apart from that don't bother.

As a massive BBQ fan, the food here was a bit of a let-down. Lovely staff, nice location with a good view but the meat was a bit dry and flavourless. There is definitely worse food around and I hope things improve here but I'll give it a fair while before maybe returning.

Clean and cosy. Can be busy, so booking is recommended. The dishes are good, although not outstanding. The portion of the sharing platter could be bigger. It's enough for 2 not-very-hungry people. Kids meal portions are more than adequate.

Lovely fish, good food, friendly service, great drinks, local craft ales, nice views, serve all day - good all rounder. Six year old enjoyed it too - she's happy, we're happy!

Nice Smoker Style BBQ dishes in casual environment

The food is amazing! Had one of the best burgers I've ever had - cooked to perfection, in a beautiful bun, with some gorgeous freshly made chips. The staff were very friendly and the view was to die for!

Loved this , went in on spec our waitress Chloe was lovely took time for a chat even though it was busy , Food was excellent and the atmosphere lovely , definitely going again , highly recommended

The place itself is pleasant enough to look at with a nice view of the beach and harbor. I looked at the menu after being seated, the vegetarian options are very poor, it's the same menu you would expect at a low to mid budget pub. However the prices are at least double. I decided not to eat here and took my custom elsewhere.

Great views, huge portions and an expansive menu. Try the pulled pork or Ranch Hand sandwich. They have surprisingly good BBQ and the staff is fantastic. Other pluses include a kids menu and good WiFi.
