Up,out and about on a cold, dull July morning, our summers are magnificent aren't they, my twin brother and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs and bars in our wonderful city, a bar we dropped into was Bøck Bar,been here before, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this bar, interior is light and airy, chic decor and furnishings, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Leece Street. We had a study of their beer range which is impressive, in the end we both opted to have beers from Higos De Rivera Brewery ( Estrella Galicia ) and these beers were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. A big fan of this most famous of Spanish beers, its a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this bar,it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother ,best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Bøck Bar we had a great time. Bøck Bar is easy to locate along Leece Street facing St Luke's Church ( Bombed Out Church ). Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 4pm till 4am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Bøck Biere is an excellent café that offer a fantastic range of beer's and is located on Leece street.Bøck Bieres has an up-market look and feel with many interesting fixture's and features and great seating areas both inside and outside and was a joy to visit on a pub crawl around the city centre. This café isn't a place to go to for a couple of cheap beers as there beers are not that cheap. But the beers they have are brilliant and are served in perfect condition. On our visit to Bøck Biere we had a couple of beer from the Hijos De Rivera Brewery that were served in perfect condition and served in a schooner glass which is more than a British half glass measure but less than a pint. A fantastic café in a superb area thats well worth visiting and easy to find from the bus stop at Renshaw street its just a short walk.(This is my 1st review of the Bøck Biere). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-16.00-04.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Renshaw Street Bus Stop-75-80-80A-86A-86C-86Q.

The Cosmopolitan had too much lime, it was undrinkable. I asked the bartender to remake and he refused & argued with me!!

Boring vibes throughout, felt racially profiled on a spiritual level by staff and felt they didn’t want customers only to stand and kiss in the back

My twin brother Stephen and I were walking down Leece Street when we chanced upon Bøck Bar and with the rain coming down we decided to drop into here and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here ,interior is superb ,light and airy ,great decor and furnishings ,a cool looking serving bar and lots of seating options . We were greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff ,we ordered a beer each ,these were served iced cold and sparkling ,we chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. I really enjoyed my beer served in here ,a lager beer bursting with taste ,nothing better than a good beer in a good bar with great company, hardly surprising this bar is so popular with beers of this quality. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Bøck Bar we had a great time. Bøck Bar is easy to locate along Leece Street facing the famous Bombed Out Church. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,10am till midnight. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Decent service. Fun fact: In 1960; when my father was just 19, he had broken into 26 Slater Street a number of times and was reported in the local newspapers such as the Liverpool Echo. 26 Slater Street used to be called the Corinthian Coffee Club.

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.
