Barnet Star Kebab House in Barnet

Very late coming, food was cold and was missing items. Will not order again. Also, we ordered from Barnet Star but in the bag was a menu from "Barnet Turkish Kitchen".

Food was late, cold forgot the chips , once chips arrived they were hard in the middle. I wouldn't order from here again ever.

Food cold chips overcooked and soggy will never ever order from here again

No flat breads delivered with kebabs, phoned restaurant but they couldn’t understand me and passed me on to maybe a customer in the shop, quite frustrating service, soggy onion rings, soggy chips, and who in there right mind puts carrot in a kebab salad, wierd.

After being a regular for a couple years sadly won't be ordering again after today's issues. Order said it was delivered, spoke to drivers who said they couldn't find adress and I missed 1 phone call so they would be back later with food even after telling me it was delivered elsewhere. Several phone calls and not much luck the order arrived over an hour late,cold and part was wrong but at this point I had hungry children so we just put up with what he had.

Over one and half hours to deliver a simple donner kebab. Had to cancel

Scammers lie when you order through justeat then there is a problem with the refund. Small portions, mistake with the order. I do not recommend, not a good kebab

The first ordered food was delivered but was stone cold and with salad that was not asked for. I rang to complain about that order in which they responded and said they will make another fresh batch , this order came late and was wrong yet again this time was not chicken wrap but doner meat wrap, the bread was crunchy n hard and the small chicken wrap was hardly any chicken, I am very unhappy with what I ordered and paid for, I will not be ordering from here again.

Absolutely disgusted by them! Gave me a wrap instead of a roll and not even cancelling my order to tell me they didn’t have any rolls available! Secondly they didn’t put bigger sauce on my meat and chips when I specifically pressed burger sauce it’s absolutely so dry and the chips ain’t cooked properly either! Absolutely frustrating!

Not sure what’s happened to this place but it’s gone massively downhill. The quality of the food is shocking!! Portions are half the size they used to be and my wrap with salad comes with a sprinkling of lettuce!! Where the rest of the salad??

Got food poisioning and ended up in hospital. Please do not use this place

there were no onions peppers or pitta bead, plus much reduced meat....tasted good but not worth the money

I had the pleasure of visiting Barnet star today under its new management. I must say the improvements are very evident, food is a lot tastier, the place is a lot cleaner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Now one of my favourite Turkish kebab shops. I definitely recommend:) will be visiting again very soon.

Absolutely the worst kebab I've ever eaten.dry meat no sauce and ordered cheesy chips in pitta and got about 20 chips in a bag appalling service and Absolutely crap food.

received order 1hr 30mins after I ordered, food wasnt hot, sent for a partial refund via justeat, received response from kebab shop stating they had sent something free from the menu to make up for it, but I had only received what I ordered for nothing free was added.

Food arrived late & cold. With soggy chips that were unappetising, couldn’t eat it. When I phoned to find out where food was I said to restaurant I wasn’t going to shop there again they said I hope so and hung up. We couldn’t stop laughing with the appalling customer service.

Dreadful, 15mins late so cold. Chips soggy and unappetising, even the dog spat it out. When we rang the restaurant to ask why it was late the first fobbed us off by saying it’s on its way. 10mins later I phone the place again and heard the same message when I said to the person I’m unlikely to shop here again, he said I hope so and hung up. Someone was having a bad day, woeful customer service. Couldn’t eat the food, never again.

Hi guys, unfortunately need to give you a bad review this time. You sent us a very bad slaw salad. slimmy and tasting awful! rotten even. Your chips were almost burnt and very soggy at the same time. You have also reduced your portions but put prices up - supposed to be 50-50: lamb and chicken - barley any chicken there. You were the only place we ordered kebab meat from. Sorry about the review. Needed to be done.

Food delivered was inedible. Instead of the rice I ordered I got chips. When I called the restaurant the person that answered was rude. 1 bite of each meat was enough. For the amount and full price they charge it’s shockingly bad in quality and quantity. Will never order from here again. I wouldn’t wasted your time or money

Benn a long time since I ordered from Barnet Star. The halep and donor was lovely and hot but the felafel, burger and chicken shish were just too rubbery and over cooked. Such a shame. used to order twice a week 10-15 years ago...

The food I had here was some of the worst kebab I’ve ever eaten. The place was dirty and the customer service was terrible. When asking for tissues they told us to use paper and then proceeded to say ‘welcome to Africa’. Appalling language and extremely demeaning to my friend. In addition to this. We were charged extortionate prices for small portions and upon leaving they began to scream. Save your money and go home starving instead !!!!!!!!

Ordered at 6.20 and was told it would be delivered between 7.20 and 7.40 which is already a long wait so wasn't pleased when it still came 10 minutes late. Comments I had made regarding extra salad and no tomatoes were ignored

This is the best kebab shop around. Not sure what the complaints are about. The food is always great! Massive portions for the prices. The guys who work there are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your order how you would like. I would highly recommend. Great food very good prices!

Ribs non existent and covered in salt, large lamb shish was a small one, so what should have been a filling meal was the opposite, and the salads are tiny..

lamb shish had same quality as lamb doner, waste of money

Ordered on Ubereats, their Delivery time is set on 15 minutes but after they accept the order, the time increases. You can't monitor the delivery as they personally deliver food to you. When you call to try to understand, the guy just says that the time doesn't depend on them and tries to cut the conversation. Wrong: as a restaurant you can set your own delivery time. Anyway, waited more than one hour for one item and it wasn't even that good. Rice was to cook that seemed like eating mashed potatoes. To avoid.

Food was awful on this occasion. We normally always get our family platter from here. It was 20 minutes late so the food was basically cold. The portion size was 1/2 its normal size. When I called to simply ask where the food was at the estimated time of delivery, they answered and just acted kind of rude/sarcastic. Not impressed at all.

The food had so much salt on it some of it was inedible. Won't be ordered again.

My Husband and I have been eating here for the last 6 years and have never been disappointed. My husband is a very fussy eater and when he's feeling unwell a portion of their chips always helps to make him feel better. The staff are awesome and so very friendly. Food is always hot and of good quality. Their chilli sauce is home made and absolutely amazing. Wont use any other Kebab shop. Best food and service EVER. Great job guys xXx

I recently visited the kebab shop, and it exceeded my expectations! The flavors were fantastic, the meat was perfectly grilled, and the variety of sauces added a delightful touch. The friendly staff and quick service made the experience even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be returning for more delicious kebabs!

Excellent quality and value. Meat was fresh and very well presented. The home made bread is fantastic and you get a hot, round loaf. If you have guests, this is a great choice and delivered on time and with friendly staff. My go-to local kebab place. Always good.
