Barga, Paisley in Renfrewshire

Amazing food and great service! We had the two for one pizza deal, the wood fire pizzas are excellent. The place has a really nice vibe and cocktails are reasonably priced too.

Went for lunch & got a cracking deal on 2 tremendous pizzas! Just the ticket for a rainy Wednesday in Paisley! The 2 for 1 wood-fired pizzas deal is excellent value for money, served in a very chilled bar with just my taste in music, the whole place (including the toilets) was clean & warm - like I said perfect for a cold rainy Paisley day, the girl working was lovely and the wood-fire oven can be seen from the open window/servery so you know you're getting the real deal! The "Pleased to meat you" pizzas sounded so good we both ordered it & devoured them! Delicious! Also the salt & chilli fries were the best I've had! Nothing but praise for this place & looking forward to our next visit - we're in East Kilbride so not exactly round the corner but it's definitely well worth the drive! Or to sample the cocktails, it's pretty close to Canal Street Station! Highly hugely recommended!

Visted with some friends and it was a great experience, the food was all absolutely lovely and the cocktails were amazing! A really great night and friendly staff.

Busy night at Barga, so glad we booked a table. Pizzas were amazing, atmosphere was great and fav service too.

Usually really good but disappointing tonight. Firstly ordered the vegan burger then told they had run out. Then ordered the vegan hot dog, had to send it back as the bun was rock hard, replacement was no better. By the time it arrived everyone else was finished. Other meals were good. They did deduct the meal from the bill. Hope next visit will be better.

The best pizza! Went with friends for a few cocktails and a bite to eat. Everything was delicious, service very friendly and they have a shelf of games to play which is a nice touch! Will definitely be back

We can’t review food because after 45 mins our food didn’t arrive and we didn’t think it would following the chaos around us. Other tables that ordered before us still waiting, others receiving their orders it very slow stages. So we asked if we could cancel our order and without hesitation they agreed. If food can’t be delivered then orders should not have been taken, it’s left us with a very poor first time experience resulting in a no return from us.

Came in for a few drinks and a nibble . Christina was so friendly , service was great . Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Thankyou

Had their loaded option on the menu, chose fries and sriracha sauce, garlic mayo and crispy onions. Although the service was good and very attentive the food was, I thought, a bit over priced. The fries consisted of a load of frozen chips covered with the sauces and covered with the crunchie onions pieces in a enamel pie dish. The fries were freshly cooked so were hot and crunchie.

Visited on a Sunday evening for food and drinks. Shared a pizza, fries and chicken side. Food was beautiful! Fantastic service from Siobhan and a new guy with red/pink hair. Both lovely! Chilled vibes and good tunes too. Highly recommended

After getting my nails done I decided to have lunch early, so went to Barga. The environment is very relaxing with plenty of room, they had change the menu and I had a beef burger. The burger was OK although I found it to be both chewy and watery with no colour to it. It was served on a bagel bun which I thought was to chewy together with the burger with a salty taste to it, although I am not a salt lover, it was served in an enamel pie dish. The staff were very attentive and open to suggestions as they were trying out a new menu. Have been there previously and had the natchos which were delicious and they were delicious.

Girls day out for cocktails & dinner food was lovely cocktails even better but our waitress was just lovely we didn't like the seats we were given and she helped us out nothing was a problem for her she went beyond to help out we'd absolutely return because of her friendly service alone xx

The staff were very busy as a funeral party gathering to leave and standing around table. We were asked to wait 5 mins until this situation was sorted (being delicate to the circumstance ) drinks order taken menu to browse table sorted then amazing food few more drinks and a lovely surprise when the bill came. Great value, great vibe of music lovely staff & fab food . Will be back & would advise booking

Thought i would give this place a try, staff were friendly and service was quick. The only downside was the portion size, for nearly £10 i would have expected more than two soft shell tacos and some salad, small ones at that and my friends flat bread portion was not much better. I would return but definitely would order something different, in the hope of receiving a larger portion.

We visited twice on their 2 for 1 nights on pizza. Great to see a restaurant trying something different. Great pizzas and great hospitality. We enjoyed this place very much.

Barga is a cool venue at the paisley center. It is a resto bar with food and cocktails as well as craft beer. In industrial vibe with large movie stills on the walls. The menu is modern and very international. I had the baja fish tacos and they were delicious, served with sweet potato fries (perhaps lacking seasoning) and a yoghurt dressing and red slaw. Finished off with a craft beer (american to match the theme) Friendly staff and a nice quiet lunch venue. Im sure will be busy on weekend evenings

Our fourth time visiting, our first since the re-opening post-lockdown. The atmosphere is still on the mellow edge of frantic, the post-industrial look is intact. the staff are still so nice. the main thing is the quality of the food. simple dishes, done well. international, eclectic, tasty, well flavoured we had the pide and the lamb sharma. generous portions, brilliantly well executed. £35 including a couple of drinks each.

After a terrible meal and drinks in The Lane, we ran over to see if Barga had a table for us to have desserts and some drinks. Luckily they did! We were sat by a fantastic server, who was full of banter and put a smile on my daughter’s face straightaway. He immediately recommended the banana, toffee and Nutella calzone, which we ordered. MY GOD IT WAS UNBELIEVABLY GOOD! We ordered an amaretto sour and a pink gin and lemonade to go with it, and - unlike The Lane’s weak drinks - these were absolutely spot on and was a breath of fresh air. Only the second time we’ve been in Barga, and already it’s becoming our favourite place to eat and drink.
