The Spinning Jenny in Renfrewshire

Very poor and slow service. There wasn’t anybody around for service for ages. We were left waiting for quite a long time. We had to ask for the waiter to clean the table as it was left sticky from the last customers. When the waiter did come down it he was very slow and didn’t seem to care. I had to go and get my own cutlery. Food was very expensive. I had the Caesar salad and the sauce was so acidic that I couldn’t eat it. My partner had the a burger which he said was disappointing. We didn’t finish either meal. Overall very disappointed and feel scammed out of £50. Definitely not worth the money!!

We had food and drinks in the Bird & Signet before our flight. Food was good and we were well entertained by Ros. Very friendly and was interacting with customers throughout the venue. I think they could do with a few more of Ros about the place.

Breakfast roll was a little on the cold grease side

Stopped in for a few drinks and snacks on the way home. Mel is absolutely fantastic, so friendly and such a joy. Recommended drinks and was spot on. Could chat all day.

For an airport, this place is very good with a chilled atmosphere. Pricing is on point and this is all complimented with very welcoming and supporting polite staff. Mel who took care of us is genuine assist to the Spinning Jenny!

Told at 4.07 that it wasn't open in no uncertain way. When asked why told again it's not open

Bar is before security in Glasgow Airport.. Had to spend quite a long time here waiting for a flight. Staff was friendly. Mel the barmaid on the day was lovely and made me feel welcome. Food and drinks were lovely.

Food reasonably priced for the airport and came quickly, even though the girl who served me, Mandy I think her name was, was just on herself. It wasn’t a bother to her and gave service with a smile. Atmosphere good and relaxed compared to other places in the airport as well.

Popped in for a quick bite and drink before our flight. Prices reasonable for a prosecco & Guinness and the lovely Mandy who served us showed me on the menu what I could have that was gluten-free. Ceasar salad without the croutons was lovely. Good portion. Husband said their pizza was decent to. Overall a great experience before we set off on our holidays. Highly recommend as more relaxed than the other place within the airport. Will 100% use this as my go-to place before we go anywhere again. Thank you X

It was nice and quite so we got served quickly. A tad overpriced but it is an Airport restaurant. What we did have was delicious though and would eat here again.

Americans traveling throughout the UK and needed some liquid courage for a bumpy flight. Mel is a saint and welcoming as family. Highly recommend if you need actually good and quick food/drink before your next flight.

Was waiting for a flight and popped into Spinning Jenny for a quick bite and a drink. The atmosphere was great for an airport bar – relaxed but lively. All the staff were absolutely lovely, especially Mel, who was super friendly and made sure everything was spot on. Food was tasty, and service was quick considering how busy it was. Definitely made the wait a lot more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend if you’re passing through!

Poor service. Ordered at the table. Croissant arrived, no tea, no coffee. Went to the bar to check. Order had not been read. Still had to wait. No urgency. Tea arrived without milk. No teaspoon. How hard can this be??

Ordered on app waited 25 minutes went to bar and told no order had been made but money out of bank and confirmation of order shown to staff, questioned by manager if order was made then still waited 20 minutes for them to bring our drinks and longer for food

Worst food I've ever had £49 for 2 pints nachos and steak pie was to get wedges instead off mash but charged me for wedges aswell stay clear rotten and cold food

Service was awful, waited for over 20mins to be served even though I was the only customer there. Then when I got served for one pint, the barmaid went to the far till, rung it up and waited for me to grab everything and go to her to pay for it. Very much a one off experience as I won't be going there again.

Had the chicken caesar salad which was fantastic. Daughter had the loaded nachos which tasted great aswell. Staff were efficient and friendly, will definitely return. Next time I'm in the airport.

Vastly overpriced. Glass of poor quality Sav Blanc, pint of Cider and a bottle of water came to £21. Didn't bother with food as table across from us got up and left after a couple of mouthfuls. Total scam and avoid if at all possible.

Came into the spinning jenny served by the lovely Mel lovey cold pint 5 stars

I ordered the bacon, cheese and chicken burger, requesting the gluten free option as I have coeliac disease, meaning I am intolerant to wheat. Unfortunately there seems to be a lack of understanding of this allergy as although I was given the burger with gluten free buns, it contained chicken that was covered in wheat breadcrumbs and a side of wedges that contained wheat flour. After pointing this out to staff it was quickly swapped out for a similar meal containing no gluten but not before the person that took my order came over and half accused the mix up of being my own fault as I "only asked for the buns to be gluten free". In my opinion this shows a lack of understanding of this allergy as I feel like common sense should tell you that if you order gluten free, then the entire meal should be gluten free.
