Despite being delivered fast, my burrito was stone cold. Churros were overdone and the tortilla chips (2 portions) didn’t arrive at all. The fries were also completely cold.

Brownies were to die for!!! The chicken burritos were tasty however halfway through I found a string of plastic which put me off eating the rest which was a shame.

Best late night snack we had on holiday

Was just ok.. The menu is confusing you're not quite sure what's included or how much everything is, by the time you're at the till with your drinks you've spent £30 on two Burritos. The chips were stale, they offered new ones which arrived after we'd finished the rest of the food and they weren't cooked well. Quite a spacious restaurant at the back.

The burrito was fine, but I was denied a discount which I was eligible for due to the ignorance of the staff. This branch needs to maintain its standards with other branches of Bar Burrito in terms of service.

We stopped here for a quick lunch, the burrito isn't bad, the ingredients are decent overall, the more you fill it up the better the taste overall. Good but nothing extraordinary, it's worth a quick skip.

The food was excellent but the delivery time kept changing and getting pushed back by over an hour from the initial time.

Nice decent reliable food, it’s no Chipotle but about the closest you can get in Scotland. Nice workers that get your food made quickly and they sell beers as well.

My heart breaks for anyone that thinks this is a passable burrito. You end up getting mostly an overprocessed bleached white flour tortilla filled with tiny portions of bland toppings. The portion of barbacoa I got was around a tablespoon.

It was my first time trying it. The server was very patient and helpful in explaining how it all works and what my choices were. I thought the portion was also good for the size of the burrito. But I think I might have gotten too many things that everything was mushed together that I couldn't tell what was what anymore. Nonetheless, it was still tasty and filling. As a Muslim, the grilled chicken being halal was a plus.

Love the burritos they make and after the recent revamp of their menu they finally introduced sauces that could actually be called spicy (although the hottest "Carolina Reaper", while good it certainly doesn't have much in common with the famous peppers :P ). Love to eat lunches there - I think they should open more venues in Edinburgh!

Bar Burrito is a decent spot for a quick lunch. The burritos are average and taste just like you'd expect. It's nothing special, but it's good for when you need something fast. The ingredients are fresh, and the service is quick. If you want a simple, no-frills burrito, Bar Burrito is a solid choice.

"TWISTED HEALTH KITCHEN" An absolute disgrace and a joke. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. 30 Quid for 2 soupy messes advertised as "protein bowls" and "Fit Boxes". Absolutely no meat worth speaking off, everything totally congealed together and soggy. Have since learned that this is actually BarBurrito disguised under a modern/healthy sounding name. It was nasty old burrito toppings thrown into a bowl and drowned in store bought guacamole and sauce. 4 tiny overcooked yet cold, flavourless chicken wings thrown in for good measure. By far the worst order I have ever received. Staff on the phone completely uninterested and unhelpful when I called to explain the situation. 1 Star is unbelievably generous. Binned the lot. Absolute garbage.

My go to lunch from work when bored of Sainsbury’s and looking to have a nice but healthy and lo-carb lunch (in a bowl with no wrap!). And I like that if they offer you an extra item they always say at the time what it costs - they’re not trying to catch you out!

This was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever experienced. I didn't even make it to trying the food. Here's the story. I asked for a "loaded burrito" on the menu. The staff will guide you through the process of assembling. I've been asked if I wanted to double the meet, what I denied. The person told be that it would be included. Otherwise the burrito wouldn't be a loaded one, it would be a classic one. Then I agreed on adding a second portion of protein. The burrito ready assembled, arrived at the cashier and the manager David would charge for double meet. I would tell David that I've been obviously misinformed during the process of making and said I'd deny the extra charge. To me it seemed unfair. Frustrated over my denial on the extra charge, David would then literally slam the burrito in the bin next to him behind the counter. To me Davids reaction seemed like customers are usually confused over the process of assembling and the extra charges made in the end. I've then sat with my friends but without food and joined them eating their food of which they said it wouldn't taste special, was lacking size, in salt and seasoning and was therefore overpriced. Once my friends finished their meals, I was coming back to ask for his name. David would then argue that the prices are shown on the board, which was correct. To me I just prefer interacting with the staff in stead of reading a giant board with extra charges for all kinds of things. I was then told, I would disturb and harass customers so David would call the police. I then left the restaurant and waited for the police outside. Since they didn't arrive, we headed for a steakhouse couple blocks away for a much better restraunt experience. Due to the customer service and what my freinda said about the food, I cannot recommend visiting this place.

Was traveling in Edinburgh and arriving right before they close, extremely starved after climbing up the Author’s seat and walking all way along. Didn’t know that most kitchen’s close at 9pm after which only drinks are available in those restaurants. The staff here were so friendly and helpful. Thank you guys for saving the starving me last Sunday night. If I have the chance to visit Edinburgh again I will definitely come back to this place again!

Order arrived cold, vegan chicken burrito contained real chicken and various other ingredients not selected by my vegetarian partner. Awful.

Burritos arrived cold, which is wild for a burrito. But that was just the beginning of the shambles. My partner ordered a vegan chicken burrito, I ordered regular old chicken. When the cold goods landed. One burrito was labelled as chicken and the other no label, with suspicion rife, we investigated and there was no vegan chicken any where to be seen, only real chicken. There were also various other ingredients in my partners burrito, it was almost as though they actually just made my prefer twice. Very poor, even for a busy Friday night.

I have an intolerance to avocado, so I ordered a burrito without guacamole (see deliveroo pickup receipt). I got 3 or 4 bites in and felt nauseous - a few minutes later I threw up. I am still nauseous. I haven't eaten anything off today, so I opened the burrito and saw a thick layer of guacamole throughout. I will have to bin the burrito, which is a shame because my other trips to barburrito were pleasant. I would like my money back.

I used to really like this place, but boy oh boy they have taken shrinkflation to the extreme. My california burrito cost £9.75 and was just a bit bigger than an empty toilet roll tube, and about as filling. When I finished it 90 seconds later, I wondered if I had missed my mouth. I'll miss this place, but there is just no value anymore.

Had lunch here with 2 people. Both had Burrito's made fresh at the counter. Flavor was good, the staff was very friendly, pricing was fair so we leave a happy pair! The interior is also very nice to sit and look at, very clever use of older materials for seats etc. Would recommend for a quick lunch in Edinburgh!
