Maybe isn't big pub but it's very nice with delicious cocktails

Over priced and under delivered. So we paid about £30 for a glass of wine, and mezze board, and a cocktail. It's not ludicrous, but I think it's top end for Shaw, so I'd expect a top end expirience. Cocktail: ok, nothing special. Wine: at £8 a glass, I'm expecting a little more than the wines to just be listed as "rioja, merlot, Shiraz", at that price, you should be at least listing the brand, and maybe also a description. I asked the waitor but he didn't know. Mezze: £10, it looked like they just went to tesco, bought some basic bread sticks and a salami selection and put it on a board. At £5 fair enough, at £10, you need to do more. Staff were polite enough

Ok, but could of been better, had we been given a better table to eat at considering booked 3 weeks ago. Food was good, girl behind the bar very good, she knew what she was doing unlike some others ie waitress but overall willing to try again

So glad there is a local tapas bar. Good food, great atmosphere and live music. Service was very good too.

OK so the food was edable and the staff were polite but not really interested. A limited menu which isn't a bad thing as it's better to do a few things to a high standard, sadly the standard wasn't that great. Asked the waitress taking the order about potion sizes as a guide to what to order, response was "I don't know it depends how hungry you are". Mezze for 2 looked and tasted like cheap packaged stuff you can pickup from your local supermarket market including tasteless plastic cheese. When we asked what one of the dishes was the waitress said "don't know I wasn't listening to the chef". It should have been beef strips in spicy tomato sauce, turned out to be beef mush in watery sauce. The house salad was ok. They couldn't even save the experience with a dessert as they don't do them.
