Exelent food and service. Very friendly and professional service. The place is also good for venues for about 100 people. Decoration probably is not the best but you will make it your place after you start to enjoy all the good things.

The food, service and atmosphere is always on point. I've been visiting this place from the very 1st day they opened over 10years ago. As crazy as it sounds, such loyalty to one place is a big deal and this should let anyone that reads this know that Banyan on the Thames is highly recommended. Ive held many events there for proposals on their rooftop garden, to 50th dinner and afternoon brunches. The events team always make sure to deliver the vision. My favourite dish is the Mongolian warrior Lamb. Highly likely

We recently celebrated our child's first birthday at Banyan at Thames, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Though not a conventional choice for celebrations, it's truly a hidden gem. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, the venue's manager, Masood, demonstrated exceptional flexibility and professionalism, ensuring every detail was flawless. His accommodating nature made the entire process both stress-free and delightful. The staff was equally friendly and efficient, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests. The guests were impressed with the delicious food and the picturesque location by the riverside, right next to the heliport, which adds an extra touch of excitement and vibrancy. We highly recommend Banyan at Thames for any small to mid-sized celebrations.

I had an afternoon tea for 24 people. They loved the venue and the view from where we were seated. The staff was very helpful and professional. I want to say a big thank you to Masood who assisted me throughout the entire process and everything on the day. Thank you! I would definitely visit again.

Had a wonderful appetizer of a delicious avocado salad and salmon with beans and broccoli cooked to perfection for the main course. Highly recommended. Will come again!

The food was okay, served by a very nice gentleman however the actual restaurant (we sat in the covered outside area) was not inviting. Definitely needs updating, tidying and heating. Very shabby. Wires hanging off the wall. Not a good look.

The staff are very good cocktails amazing

We visited Banyan several times in June 2024 as we stayed at the hotel Rafael on the Left Bank. The location is ideal in Battersea as it right off the path by the water. It is a great place to have breakfast or a coffee in the morning as the many people are walking/biking by. In addition, the location is great for an after work or pre-dinner cocktail, as they have a very nice outdoor seating space along with a strong appetizer menu with usual classics. We found the food to be of extremely high quality and significant value compared to other places in London. A special nod to the Indian food which stands out as the best we tried over our trip. On our last night we ordered the steak which was perfectly cooked. Waitstaff/hospitality: this is clearly a place that values repeat customers. We found the service to be prompt and accommodating. My wife has certain foods (gluten) etc. that she can’t eat and they went out of their way to ensure all was good. We had several extremely positive conversations with the hotel/restaurant owner, Mr. Latif. It was clear from these interactions, that he values feedback from guests. A great business is always where the “chef eats what he cooks.” We saw Mr. Latif in the restaurant eating every night we went. We will certainly return on our next trip to London.

I had my birthday dinner at Banyan on The Thames restaurant at Rafayel Hotel in Battersea and this was the best ever meal I have eaten at any hotel. The food was delicious and mouth watering. There is a variety of food from Indian , Thai , Italian , Chinese , English and very good size portions. Mixed Grill starters was so tasty as well as lentil dhal which was the best ever dhal I have tasted. The naan bread is so crispy unlike other naans from other restaurants and the pasta was one of the best. A must try is Thai Tamarind Coconut Fish Curry and Crispy Peking Duck Pancake. The views overlooking Thames provides a relaxing atmosphere and nice to go for stroll along the Thames. Waiter service was excellent with quick service to serve freshly made food and polite waiters. Please do come and try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!

The waitstaff are incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that every detail is perfect. The food is prepared to an outstanding standard, consistently exceeding my expectations. Whenever I'm unsure of where to dine, I inevitably find myself returning to this beloved spot. It truly never disappoints & will be introducing my parents to this restaurant this week for my mums birthday

Had a really great time at Hotel Rafayel and Restaurant! My husband and I chose to do our wedding/reception in this beautiful location and I couldn’t be more grateful to have Masood and his team to help us. The staff are very well trained and really kind. They are all commendable for the service they provided. I couldn’t have asked for more. The food was great and most of my guests also inquired to hire the venue for their own upcoming occasions. Again, very impressed and with all the staff especially the manager, Masood! Really outstanding manager, he is a great asset for the hotel services.

We were walkibg along the Thames and found this cute restaurant with amazing views! My child with allergies was able to find an easy thing to eat and my husband and I were able to get some sandwiches with crispy fries.

It was great to come back for the second time. Had an amazing experience last time I was here for a celebration. So I was looking forward to coming back again since I was so impressed by the service and food. This time was no different, the staff were friendly, attentive and exceptional. The food was delicious and the dessert was divine. Can’t wait for the next visit.

Delightful little restaurant on the river serving delicious and very authentic Thai dishes and delicacies . It’s charming and in a lovely spot . Staff are couteous and the menu price is reasonable for being in such a scenic spot . A very good find . I will defintely be back

The most awful restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of dining at. I ordered the “Special Wagyu Burger” which cost £17 and this was served with “burger sauce” which turned out to be mayonaise. The burger itself was watery and flavourless, was topped with slices of cold cheese and was on a flakey bun which you could tell had been frozen. My partner ordered the pepperoni pizza which had a pool of grease sat on top and a soggy base. Shame because of the great location and the hotel stay was a good one. This restaurant lets it down massively and should not be associated with a 5* rating at all, it’s a farce.

Really good food, friendly and good service, and the waiter had great sense of humor. There was an incident with a wine glass, but it was solved so smoothe, that it did not take away anything from the total experience, which was excellent. We left happy and feeling well taken care of.

A hidden gem on the Battersea river front, the views are outstanding, particularly when the sun is setting. As always, the food was top notch, and the staff go beyond the call of duty, including the owner, who always welcomes you like a member of the family. A definitely ‘must try’ for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Plastic flowers and greeny everywhere didn't give it a good ambiance. I had pasta with was slimy and not nice. They sort take off Bill though If your looking for somewhere romantic this isn't the place but for a quick meal it's ok

Booked 22 ladies for lunch at the Banyan on the Thames for the bridal party and we had an amazing time. Food was delicious. The staff were amazing, very understanding, polite and professional. Masood one of the staff at the restaurant was brilliant with handling our orders and making sure everything was okay and according to our plan. He also made sure that all guests were catered for, honestly he was amazingly. All the ladies were happy with their meals and with the service that they received. I will be booking more events with this restaurant. Thank you Masood 😊

The food in this place 😋 👌 😍 🙌 😌 😋 👌 is delicious, tasty, fresh and presentation is 10/10 stars. Try the pasta and mushroom and also the prawns with the sweet chilli sauce the waiter also gave me 2 different dips as I couldn't decide no extra charge. 😋

Spent my friend’s 60th birthday here. Friendly and accommodating staff

The Marquee area you walk through to get to the main area of the restaurants was full of cigarette smoke. Staff said smoking was allowed there. However this is illegal - there was only a door open (as it was a cool evening) so the area counts as 'substantially enclosed'. It was unpleasant to walk through as a non smoker. Also, law aside, it would have been nice to sit there to eat as it is a nice space overlooking the river, but I could not due to the smoke. Food was tasty, though too oily.

We recently held a large group birthday meal, and the team were so accomodating and on the ball. The food was delicious, venue gorgeous and service without fault. Would highly recommend :)

Second visit to RH, lovely hotel location with views along the river Thames, especially from the restaurant. Nice outside space, spacious and eclectic decor, love the different art pieces dotted around the hotel. Staff are courteous, professional and ready to accommodate your requirements. Recommend Masood and Victor who served us with such excellent attitudes. Would recommend for family or cooperate event.

Celebrated my twin son's 21st Birthday here today and it was wonderful! Masood was so great at helping me organise everything beforehand and all of his staff provided a friendly and efficient service. Food was delicious and the venue overlooking the river was perfect. We had a semi-private area that was decorated beautifully and we could even play our own music! Thank you Masood and the team, for such a memorable afternoon!

We had a family lunch for over 40 people, and Masood and team were great. The food was served in a timely fashion and the customer service was top tier and respectful. The cocktails had a nice kick to them too :).

This is one of the best places south of the river to see the water and the sun going down. The food tastes wonderful. It has been ten years and nothing has changed. I really like their Angus cut steak and salmon fish. My third favourite food is tamarind Thai fish, which I've added. This is my best place to drink because it's in a great spot, has a big, open space, a heated pergola outside, reasonable prices, and a cosy vibe....
