The food is absolutely delicious I will not get salt and pepper box from anywhere else all the rices and noodles are amazing ..

I’ve just had a salt and pepper box from here, and it’s the nicest thing I’ve had for years. My wife is very picky but even she loves it.. I would recommend trying it.. thank you Bamboo..

Absolutely disgusting AVOID chicken was slimey and the rice was hard sweet and sour chicken balls are hard and the sweet and sour was too sour. Spent £30 for 2 people and didn't even get the full order! After eating we feel sick stomach hurts fever and eyes watery even gave a bit of chicken to our animals and there all throwing up too, wished I read the reviews before ordering not to mention £2 for delivery and we live right next to it!

Spent £51 on Wednesday night for our family, it was absolutely disgusting. We are locals and have been here regularly. Egg fried rice was dry, could barely swallow it. Burger was the worst I have ever seen. Chow mein tasted awful. Mixed grill was so dry they tried to disguise it with the gravy in the hope it wouldn’t be noticed! Chicken Curry wouldn’t even move out of the tub when I tipped it upside down!!!! Rang them to complain and the service was horrific. To be able to succeed in a business you need some decent customer service, without it your business will never succeed. I hope no one experienced what me and my family experienced on Wednesday because it was utterly terrible.

If you prefer your food edible this is not the place for you. I cannot even begin to describe the abomination that was delivered to my house this evening. This was my first order at Bamboo and there definitely will not be a second.

Absolutely disgusting Chinese! Burnt crispy beef no meat in it at all, awful sweet n sour sauce like water n cold when received. Avoid!!!

Just ordered from Bamboo - haven't used here for ages with having Yama closer. Really disappointed, everything is over cooked, my orange sauce is like orange squash thickened and tastes awful. Wont be using Bamboo again!

Expensive bland tasteless food. Dont waste your time & money. Had the hor derves, special chow mein, crispy chilli beef, special fried rice. The rice wasn't to bad, but everything else bland.

Good friendly service with good food for pick up or delivery. Not the best for disabled access due to a small access door, disabled parking near by across the road.

Food is lovelly can have a bit of a wait with delivery

I went to the bamboo takeaway, the service was poor the food was slow, greasy, half of it went to the bin, salt and pepper chips and chicken were both greasy had no taste but salt, just salt nothing else I paid 30 pounds of my hard earned money for salt? Next thing I knew I was confronted at the “fire door” and this man wanna square up ? I don’t think so mate I dropped him got my salt and pepper chips and dipped. Don’t recommend unless your white you won’t know what real Chinese taste like Inittt (no racist) ADIOS

Ordered from the Bamboo as a delivery, they said 45 minutes which was fair enough, it come after 1hr 10 mins, and when it finally arrived the food was stone cold. Rung them back and ended up having to take our food back so they made it again.. still wasn’t very nice! Spent over £30 and what a waste of money it was! While point of getting a delivery is so we didn’t have to leave the house.

We had rented a cottage for the weekend and this takeaway was recommended to us by one of the locals. We walked in with our order, wanted some off the menu items and still only waited about ten minutes. The phone never stopped ringing with orders so I assumed that it must be good. We had a large order and everything was very nice indeed

We began visiting the Bamboo over two years ago as our local Chinese was closed for their annual month long holiday and we never went back. They're always busy but most things will be ready in 10-15 minutes, it used to be up to an hour at our previous one and were talking collection. We haven't tried delivery. The food is always hot, tasty and plentiful. The only negative thing was the chips, it's that time of year when the new potatoes are out and they don't chip at all. We just had a lot of little scraggly chips which no one in our home will eat! That said some people actually ask for them.

Have previously had good food from here but the food was 'gloopy' (just like wallpaper paste), the beef was at best 'bendy' and the only redeeming factor was the prawn crackers which were edible. So disappointed, we've thrown out the menus! Simply dreadful!

Wouldn't use another place. Salt and pepper chicken strips would be my recommendation.
