Love it here, great breakfast and always happy to see you. Always have a natter and worth visiting on a Sunday for a proper portion of a Sunday lunch. Love it.

You get what you expect really a cafe on an industrial estate. Pretty fair food well cooked in average surroundings.

This is just a cafe now. Had a breakfast. There was no one in front of me, but it still took 2 mins to place my order. Although the ladles were behind the counter, they just did not acknowledge I was there. The food was average at best. It's definitely not worth £9.60. No atmosphere and it was cold inside.

Been closed as an Indian takeaway for a couple of years. The Park Diner there is excellent.

Encontré este Diner por casualidad, abierto los siete días de la semana como cafetería de día y de noche es un restaurante Balti. Almorzamos el domingo y no me puedo quejar del servicio ni de la calidad de nuestra comida. Tuve la opción de carne y hacer un queso de coliflor fantástico, delicioso.

El Balti ahora está cerrado, pero este negocio sigue y sigue fuerte. Sirven su tradicional Sunday Roast un domingo, por supuesto, y durante la semana sirven una variedad de comidas diferentes, desde su típico desayuno inglés completo hasta sándwiches, paninis, patatas asadas y comidas caseras, como pastel de cabaña, carbonara, etc. Hoy probé mi asado de domingo en la calle 1 y Dios mío, no me decepcionó. Tienes la opción de 3 carnes con una variedad de verduras y siempre hay una opción de 2 a veces 3 budines diferentes. El café está abierto los 7 días de la semana durante el y por la noche es un Balti.

This is excellent food and service. We only use as takeaway. As good and better than other indian restaurants food wise but again service is exceptional. Edit Have continued to use the Balti for big family meals. Exceptional food says everyone: we get a varied mix of dishes and flavours. Portions are large but everything goes. Service is better than most restaurants we go to. Recommend highly.

Worst fried chicken I've ever had. Big lumps of dry meat stuck on top of chips, in a polystyrene container. The dog enjoyed it.So disappointed

Very disappointed with our meal this evening - especially after having previously enjoyed our orders from Balti Park Diner. We both ordered Makhari, one with prawns and one with chicken. These were the worst curries we’ve ever tasted. All we could taste was coconut and this was not listed on the menu. It also had a strange powdery consistency. The chicken was also very tough and extremely dry. We phoned to query whether we had been sent the wrong meal, because we have had this dish elsewhere and it tasted nothing like this. I was quickly passed to the chef who said it was the recipe and that it contains coconut and almond powder. I explained that I understand many curries have coconut bases, but I didn’t believe this one did - I’ve also checked online and I couldn’t find a single recipe for this dish that listed coconut. I explained to the chef that I would not have ordered this dish had I known it would be coconut based. He tried to tell me I was wrong when I said Makhani is also known as butter chicken which is made with double cream and butter. I also added that it should have been made clear on the menu that it contained coconut, as it just says it has yoghurt and spices in a creamy sauce. He kept telling me that I was wrong and that they couldn’t possibly list all the ingredients on the menu. I appreciate this but my point was that as it is such a dominant flavour - arguably the only flavour that came through in this dish, it should have been signposted on the menu. This is a real shame, and sadly we will not be ordering from this takeaway again.

Excellent value and enjoyable. More so as I know it comes from a very clean kitchen and can order without fear.

Great mains, big portions and "garlic mushroom" is just amazing, not what you might expect. Naga achari is hot and tasty. Not the cheapest but it is one of the best.

First time ordering, chicken tikka was perfectly cooked and juicy. Masala was almost too sweet. But all was very much enjoyed. I was sent an email saying the takeaway was going to arrive by 10.10, but it didn’t arrive until 10.25. We were just very hungry!

We placed an order and was told 30 mins. It arrived two hours after order time, the chicken was tasteless wife says not worth £2.50. Apologies do come back, not likely. They should have offered cancellation if over an hours delay. New management apparently. Wife settled for a bowl of cereal. I'd be happiest with a full refund. Appalling experience. Only the driver seemed ashamed. Not his fault.

Why not use the cafe during the day breakfast is always good and lunch time food is also good with a decent choice I use it quite a lot saves me cooking

I don't even know what that was. Every piece was either pink or had black veins, bruised or full of fatty bits. Turned my stomach. The actual flavours of the curry were non existent. The naan breads were nice. Honestly though. The chicken was so awful, I didn't eat one piece of it as every piece I looked at was black. Won't order from here ever again.

What is not known by many people is that the Balls diner is only open from 6pm. But from 7am until 4pm it becomes a very excellent family run cafe serving freshly cooked and prepared meals. Breakfast from 7am Fantastic home cooked lunches from midday until 3pm. The menu changes from day to day but there is regular menu for breakfast and also lunches. Prices are really good and ideal for retired people who are looking for good wholesome food at the right price. Food is locally sourced from local businesses. You won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I ordered from Balti park for the first time the other day as we wanted to try somewhere different from usual. We were not disappointed. Food came 5 minutes before estimated delivery and was absolutely lovely. However we ordered popadoms and only received 2 (we didn't know how many we would get) maybe it would be good to specify quantity on the menu for when ordering. Other than that there were no complaints. Absolutely lovely quality food and delivery driver was very nice and friendly.

Best Indian takeaway in Gloucester, no need to say anymore.

The food is generally very good, although some dishes, on occasion, can disappoint by being too salty. My biggest disappointment though is the huge price increase, an example is Chicken Bhuna, used to be £4.99, but now costs £6.50; this was not a gradual increase but a very immediate hike in price.

First time eating here tonight , wow what lovely food, what lovely staff on the phone , and the delivery driver was lovely and polite will def eat here again :-}

biryani is bland, im looking for that biryani smell(aroma) and and the taste of spice but unfortunately tasteless and even the chicken tasteless! You could not even taste the salt on it.

It's only taken 2 years to find THE BEST Indian in gloucestershire! Every dish was fantastic. The onion Bhaji was the best indication of good quality food- not the usual dough ball of dripping burned oil- it was crispy and light but nicely moist in the centre: perfection. GREAT VALUE, GREAT TASTE.

Absolutely amazing! Best Indian takeaway in Gloucester without a doubt! We've never had a bad meal from there yet, really tasty flavoursome currys and good portion sizes too. Their a friendly family run business so they look after their customers and will remember you. Highly recommend the Balti park diner, I wouldn't waste my time or money going elsewhere....this place is the best around👍👍

Very poor communication with regards to delivery charge and driver was 15 mins late. Order took nearly 2hours to reach us! The driver was apologetic and the food is excellent.

We fancied a change from our usual Indian takeaway so ordered from the Balti Park Diner, as the reviews were good. The food quality was fine, although we found the main dishes and the rice a little bland compared to other local places that we regularly order from. The curries weren't at all oily though, so that's a plus point. The onion bhajis and naan bread were very good. The price was reasonable. The order was collected, so I cannot comment on delivery times, although I would say that most places have food ready in 20 minutes - no more than 30 - when picking up, but I was quoted 40 and it still wasn't quite ready when I arrived. Overall it was perfectly acceptable, but I don't think Balti Park Diner will become one of our regular takeaway choices, but that's a matter of personal taste.

We've been using Balti Park Diner for years and years. Never had a poor meal, consistently decent food. Delivery times are pretty accurate and staff always polite. We have strayed now and again but we always return, enough said really.

Phoned me as soon as I placed order to say there was a £1 delivery charge due to me being over 3 miles away and were very polite and even apologetic about having to add the delivery charge. The meal was delivered 40 minutes BEFORE specified time by a friendly driver & was one of the best takeaway meals I've received, everything hot, fresh & very tasty, Keep up the good work 👍🏼

Arrived 20 mins before estimated time delivery driver was very friendly. Food was nice could of done with a bit more spice. However very nice and chicken was very tender. Would defiantly order again. Was phoned straight after I placed order to say we are out of delivery area but would like to deliver to us however would have to pay £1 delivery for this. I was happy to do this and found this very polite and nice of them. Anybody we spoke to from this restaurant was so polite.
