Baker And Baristas in Leeds

Had the muffins from here to take home as a special treat for myself and husband in the past. They will usually put the muffins in a box to keep them from getting squished on the way home. This guy refused to put them in a box. Really unfriendly guy, didn’t smile at all and refused to stamp my muffin card as said I’d already had a discount!! I would happily pay extra for a box and at £4.25 a muffin each they are expensive. Lovely muffins but bad attitude. I left very annoyed.

Visited on Monday 12th Aug and the lady behind the till was great. Wonderful customer service; friendly, clear and professional. Got some muffins, they looked so great and were well received by the people I got them for.

Ordered a bacon bap and coffee,the bacon looked awful and smelt funny and after one bite we left the rest. I can honestly say that is the worst bacon bap I have ever tasted. The only good thing was the coffee to wash the taste of the bacon away. I wouldn’t recommend you buy food to reheat from here.

We called in for a drink after wandering around the centre. Two cappuccinos and an Earl Grey tea. Drinks were served promptly, and we sat at a table, I thought the tea didn't taste right and took it back to say this wasn't a very good Earl Grey. The girl behind the counter looked a little blank but the manager came to the rescue and spotted that I hadn't been given Earl Grey. A replacement was offered, but by then we needed to leave, and to my surprise a refund was offered and accepted. Great reaction to a mistake
