Bagel Nash Arndale in Tameside

Went for a bite to eat Sunday afternoon and was not over joyed with what we had. Salt beef and there wasn’t much beef just a bit in the middle of the bagel.

I ordered my bagel and waited patiently to be call over to collect. It was only due to another customer realising that she had mistakenly received my order as her own that I was aware my lunch was even ready. Clearly a misunderstanding/lack of communication, which I could of forgiven if it wasn't for the poorly cobbled together bagel that was covered in mustard and barely even cut in half. I won't be visiting again.

As a regular visitor to the Arndale branch , wonderful staff and got to know them personally- all I can say is they deserve gold medals to put up with crap from head office - you guys in Arndale ? Super stars - Andrei is talented and a whinging example to how to manage a good team

I have been going to this place since it first opened. It is centrally placed and with a relaxed atmosphere. It apparently now has new owners who are doing away with serving the tea and coffee in proper cups and are now using paper ones - as a way of doing further environmental harm as well as asserting their right to deteriorate the quality of the customer experience. I won’t be returning again. Why is it so difficult for these cafe owners to understand the basics of customer requirements?

Had a crayfish and avacado filling on a wholemeal bagel. It's my favourate filling when I visit Bagel Nash in the Arndal Centre Manchester. It's good value for money as it comes in a meal deal with any drink included.

Although it has some positives, it is badly designed and managed. Many of the staff have limited English, there is only one till so always a queue, the WiFi is too slow to work effectively, and you feel like you are being processed. No personal recognition of you being a regular. It is well situated and the food is okay.

We did not know the Arndale that well and only wanted a drink. This "cafe " looked clean and tidy and so we stayed for drinks which were very reasonably priced.Maybe we were lucky but the staff were friendly and efficient.

Came here last week to order breakfast to take away. The server was miserable and clearly doesn’t know how to put jam on a bagel, it was on one side in a big blob. Thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt this morning, big mistake, the bagel wasn’t even toasted and hardly any jam on at all. At least the waiter smiled today when taking my money! Really disappointing considering all the other Bagel Nash’s I’ve been to are nice. Think more training of the staff here is required.

The usual stone-faced and impolite attitude of staff who struggle with the English language. Positives - it is well located and a relaxing ambience with healthy food. Although I have been coming here since it opened, nobody acknowledges you and you are simply processed like at an airport terminal. There are exceptions - one or two of the staff are okay. Also there is only one till so lengthy queues even when few customers- a strange design. The Wi-fi is so slow as to be useless. I understand this type of customer treatment with the large chains, but not with small, independents.

Visited for a quick bite whilst shopping. Service was friendly but slow. Bagel was average, I had the mexican chicken. Paid £5.99 for a bagel, drink and an apple then another £3.05 for an ice americano which I felt was over priced for how weak the coffee was.

We queued up at an empty counter with two members of staff behind. We waited patiently to be served but we weren’t even acknowledged by either member of staff and after standing there for what felt like an eternity we walked away, again to no concern or acknowledgement. Won’t be visiting again. There’s a Subway opposite and lots of other tasty options where you will be made to feel welcome.

While shopping in the Arndale Centre we took a break here. We both had flat white coffee’s which were good and a grapefruit/cranberry drink, I also had a square of Bakewell tart it was also tasty. I thought what we had was good value for money.

This used to be my place of choice when shopping in Manchester, not any more, the bagel was stale and disappointing. my partners burger was absolutely disgusting, the cheapest ingredients imaginable. The service also left a lot to be desired.

The Americano was weak almost like tea in fact I thought they have served tea by mistake until I got the vague aroma of coffee from it. The quality was poor too. Bagel was stale and tasteless. Not good.

I can recommend bagel Nash nice and fresh and delicious bagels lots of choice and a nice seating area clean and friendly staff

We stopped here for a bite for lunch. I was a little disappointed with the choice on the menu as I think they could be more creative. Other than that all went well. We met a French waiter who was very polite and friendly.

Llamado en 12. 30 No todas las tablas ocupadas así que me las arreglé para encontrar una mesa para mí. Ordenados en el mostrador y comida traídas a la mesa.

Visited a couple of times. Always have the Wholemeal bagel Ham Swiss cheese and Mayonnaise . Food is always fantastic and well worth the money. Give it a try, there is something for everyone here!

Been here a few times and enjoyed even though a bit expensive but it’s is town centre. Today was awful. Ordered smoked salmon with avocado in a wrap. Completely tasteless. Filling poor

We were thrilled to see they have gluten free bagels which were very nice but I only counted 2-3 vegetarian options which is pretty rubbish and nothing vegan.

Stumbled across this when mooching round Manchester. No cross contamination as they use a separate area and toaster / gloves. Very nice it was too.

On a Sunday many places are full before the shops open so was unable to find a seat at any of my usual haunts. Thought I would try here although I didn't want to eat.

Yo y mi amor amigo bagels! ! Este es un gran lugar si quieres una comida saludable a un precio razonable! Hay una amplia variedad de panes rosca de escoger! Fui por el sésamo, y un montón de opciones para que escojas! Fui para el salmón y crema de queso y estaba delicioso! Servicio rápido y opción para vegetarianos o ninguno vegetariano! La oferta de comida es también muy buena relación calidad-precio. Lo recomendaría para una comida rápida y sabrosa.

Mientras el resto de la familia había bagels, elegí un falafel y hummus. Sorprendentemente picante, me gustó. Mi esposa tenía sopa, acompañada por una rosca de mantequilla. Buen servicio con bebidas frías y comida que se sirve en la barra, comida y bebidas calientes y llevado a su mesa. Un personal amable, rápido y limpio - buena comida rápida.

Friendly service, great location and comfy seats. The only reason I can't give 5 is there wasn't a customer toilet but the member of staff was great and directed us to the nearest one.

This place never disappoints, only had minimal interaction with staff but the bagels speak volumes, great place to sit and watch the world go by also :-D

I honestly believe the photos above do not give this place any justice whatsoever! I've been here multiple times and not only are the bagels the best bagels I have ever tasted, but the waiters/waitresses are the loveliest people I've ever met! I've never come across a rude member of staff and they always start a conversation with you. Although sometimes the bagels can look a bit untidy, it'll just take practice as they still taste amazing!

Stopped for brekkie one morning and picked a jalapeño and cheese bagel with sausage and egg, the other half had bacon and egg with drinks. Both cost £10 which I thought was rather reasonable. They were a bit slow coming in but the girl apologised for the wait.

As I waited for my phone screen to be repaired at the Armadale, I popped in to grab a quick bite. Been to the Bagel Nash in Spinningfields many times before. I was always happy with my grub, so this seemed like a no brainer. I grabbed a prepared bagel (half bagel with tomato, spinach and melted cheese) and a fruit cup. To my dismay, the bagel was like chomping on cardboard. And what's this? Raspberry jelly cleverly hidden beneath the under-ripened tomato and the horrific, plasticine cheese? Yes. It's true. The fruit was fresh though. Look, I know it's just a bagel shop and I wasn't expecting a Michelin star rated meal. But a decent bagel from a place with the word 'bagel' in its name should be able to get it right.

Not quite sure how you make a rubbish bagel but this place manages it and charges you through the nose for the pleasure.

We just wanted to sit and have a quick break. This mall is gigantic. After going to the churches in the area and other sites of interest we decided to check out the "oldest mall 1979 in europe". Looks like any other one today .So we had 'a cup of chicken soup and a buttered bagel'. It was good. So...it was a good little break.

As a visitor to Manchester I've been amazed by the gluten free options everywhere and this was no exception; gluten free bagels, separate toaster, no fuss. Staff were knowledgable, would definitely visit again.

Visited for the first time, at lunch.Surprised by the variety on offer.Ordered a ham salad on 'cheese and jalapeno' bagel.Delicious!And salmon with cream cheese.Delicious! (although, if anything, there was slightly too much cheese on!!).Price is not the cheapest, but 'you get what you pay for'.Very happy, and will return...

First time visit popped I'm for Sunday brunch, ordered gourmet cheese burger on poppy and it was delicious. Brought me back to the taste of American diner burgers. Crisp sweet yet sharp pickle was a winner. Superb.

My daughter and I needed to fill up quickly while on a shopping spree at Arndale Centre. We went to Bagel Nash, for the sake of trying something new. We got to choose the type of bagel, as well as the type of filling. Totally scrumptious and wholesome at a low price. Would certainly visit again if given the opportunity!

I have visited here on many occasions. The menu is very good and selection of drinks is also very good. I have tried a quite a few of the bagels but my favourite is the Salmon Deluxe.Great food and service Good value

I have been here so many times over the years I never gave a thought to writing a review. Today's visit was just like any other visit I have made. Excellent Coffee, Food, Service. The Staff are so kind and considerate and nothing appears to be any trouble for them. The high standards are always the same If you are visiting the Arndale centre make sure you pop in for a coffee and a Bagel. I'll be going again soon.

First and foremost the bagels are delicious!! Also they are really good value for money. The staff are very helpful and friendly. No complaints here. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I love bagels, so Bagel Nash seemed the best place for me for a quick lunch. I've eaten here many times, and every time everything was excellent: from the bagels to the condiments to staff. Today I returned to Bagel Nash after 7 months (I now live elsewhere in Europe) and everything was disappointing: first of all the meal deal is now £5.30 rather than £5. Fine, it's just 30p. however the selection of deli bagels you can get is now very limited (they took out my favourite: the New York bagel with smoked salmon), as well as advertising hash brows but only serving crisps, pop corns or a sweet treat. Seriously? I had the crayfish and avocado bagel with a side of crisps and a bottle of water, quite a disappointing lunch overall, as the bagel wasn't even that good.At this point I think I will not be returning next time I'm in Manchester.

Not a venue I would normally review but when looking for a quick breakfast this was just the thing. I refuse to eat breakfast in hotels, unless it is included in the price. On our trip to Manchester our hotel wanted £13.00 per person for breakfast. So my wife and I got up and knowing Manchester reasonably well thought we could do better and cheaper.We headed for the Arndale centre and came across Bagel Nash by following our noses to the food court. Both my wife and I really love bagels and so it was a real no brainer. We ordered two Scrambled egg bagels and two coffees. Of course common to this type of outlet you can choose the type of bagel. We seated ourselves and very soon after the bagels and coffee's arrived. The bagels were fresh and eggs tasty coffee was good, even my decaf. which is not always the case. The only downside is that it is not the nicest setting but having saved myself over £14.00 I was not complaining!

Staff treated us with hardly any effort, the hash browns were extremely undercooked and everything was just slopped all over the plate. Will not be returning!

Have eaten lunch here a few times now and always great food, good service and value for money. The bagels are always fresh with a great choice of fillings. Can't wait to visit again!!

In two words, simply delicious. Polite and friendly staff, plus the service was quick off the mark. Two very happy lunchtime munchers.

In the absence of a family run deli – Bagel Nash is the next best thing. Good choice of Bagels and fillings with Bacon (I know) Brie and Cranberry my fav.

Bagels tend to be a bit of a favourite with the family and when we were in the Arndale Centre, we thought great!I ordered the Mexican chicken which would come on a cheese and chilli bagel with chicken, jalepenos, avacado etc. To say that I was disappointed with the taste would be an understatement. I was expecting my tongue to be bombarded with the mexican flavours and to taste the avacado, but it just didn't deliver.The avacado was hard, so not ripe

Didn't have a bagel but the smoothie were excellent. Really fruity and not too sweet. Service was efficient and a good place to relax with a cold drink

We found this a very quiet place so decided to have a coffee.Then we found out why it was quiet. The Latte was luke warm a mocha turned into a luke warm skinny latte and the frappacino was warmUnless you like lukewarm coffee and warm frappes don't go

We came here for a quick lunch, and saw the £5 meal deal. We go to the one in Hull all the time. Unfortunately, this one was the complete opposite of Hull! The staff weren't that friendly, the £5 meal deal wasn't included in the loyalty card (Hull and York Bagel Nash's do the loyalty cards for everything!) and my friend did not get the 10% discount as it was already discounted. Fair enough, but why advertise so much if it's not included in the meal deal? I'll stick to Hull!

Very overpriced and definitely not worth the money. £7.50 for a ham and cheese bagel and a coffee. Won't be returning.

Visited with my husband. Rude staff, didn't take down all our order. Very expensive for the measly fillings that they put on bagels. Not impressed.

The bagels were very tasty and served quickly and can be eaten in or out. It's just a place to grab a quick bite to eat but if you take that in to account, it compares favourably with its rivals, e.g. Greggs, Sayers, etc.

Good concept (but miles behind the states), food overpriced, service needs improving drastically, if you visit at any busy period, forget receiving your order within 30 minutes...

The bagels we had for breakfast were really nice but you expect that from somewhere with the word bagel in its title. The latte was awful! I work for a well known coffee shop and lattes have a small top of froth not the whole latte glass! Froth is for cappuccinos... I understand most people reading this won't understand why I got rather annoyed by this but it's mostly because when you know you can do the job better but you've paid for it you feel ripped off!

We wandered around the Arnedale after being outside on a very wet, cold and windy day. We wanted to try something different and stumbled across this place. We each ordered our bagels and drinks and they were prepared quickly and served to us at our table with a smile and by a very pleasant young lady.I was surprised how well structured the bagels were and weren't at all as messy to eat as I thought they might be. We really enjoyed our bagels and on the day filled us up in a much better way than a greasy breakfast.Thanks guys, well done.

Been to Bagel Nash a couple of times now and I felt I had to post a quick review, so far each time I've had a very nice bagel, there's loads of choice and the service was very good, prices are reasonable and the tables etc were clean.If you want a break from the norm with lots of taste & choice, I'd recommend Bagel Nash whole heartedly.

Visited for a quick breakfast before going for our train back home. Ordered a vegan wholemeal bagel with peanut butter and jam, fruit salad and a large black Americano. My husband had a scramble egg and bacon bagel, orange juice and large Americano all for £13.80. A bargain and delicious. I love Bagel Nash and will return to this one. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
