Babylon Take Away Cheadle in Staffordshire Moorlands

Me and my family were visiting Alton tower way back home we had to have something to eat so we went to this beautiful place.what a gorgeous food👌

So sick of this place . I ordered my dinner tonight they missed an item that messed up the meal. return 12 min later with the item already finished our meals trying to send it back big hassle . Driver stomped off leaving my gate open all 3 dogs then escaped . I have given this place chance after chance so done Better off going to domino's pizzas at least these are proper and have deals on all the time.

I am very disappointed with what I have received and payed for when pouring the drinks you would have realised how runny they were and to not have served or to give something else instead. The milkshake was runny all the way to where it is on the photo wasn’t even a milkshake and the slush was given to me the way on the photo just no care in the product being ordered and couldn’t be bothered to do a fresh or refund when making the drinks

Great takeaway! Eaten from here twice since moving to the area a few weeks ago. Tasty pizza, generous portions, great kebabs and so easy paying through text message for delivery! Definitely our favourite in Cheadle 👍🏼

Large doner kebab was a tray of meat and a sealed pitta-any salad??. also fish and chips(menu says with salad)- got not salad. the fish is not fresh normal fish but one of those birdseye frozen things(shape exact,taste exact,processed,size exact). UPDATE--just spoken to the chef before I post this- you have to ask for salad(i thought it was normal in a kebab) and he admitted the birdseye claim(theyre delishus he says). Revolting stuff.

Ordered one pizza, on a Monday eve. Waited over the 45 mins delivery time. Called after one hour to be told its on its way. I live 5 min drive away. Waited another 30mins no sign, so called again said its here and it's on its way. So clearly wasn't on its way the time before (lied) Was told couldn't have a refund just that they would cancel my order Very rude manager and would never order from there again Waited a further 15 mins it arrived cold ❄

Ordered my food at 7:30. It is now 9:45 rang up at 9:15 asking where is my food! So then waited another 25 minutes to cancel the order! Soon as I said cancel it the person on the phone hung up on me! Rubbish place wouldnt recommend!

I bought some pizzas from here the sauce on the pizza for some reason was spicy the vegetables were raw on the pizza . All staff apart from the woman wore their face masks under there chins . And the prices were stupid the garlic bread was so dry you couldnt swollow it . Avoid

Ordered at 8 o’clock and food taken 2 hrs 40 mins and cold when arrived. Simple as that. Won’t use again

Called in Babylon after being at the Red Cow had a 14" Pizza a Babylonian bit spicy loads of cheese and thick base it was great. Only comment i've got is all 12" and 14" pizzas come with a free 8" garlic bread if you don't ask for it they will not give it to you. I asked on the way out and one was given but not until. Great Pizza

Ordered a takeaway via the app, which is really easy to use if your not brilliant with technology like myself. Food came before the delivery time stated on the app. The option to pay as food is delivered is good. Food came hot and was really tasty.

I rang up for see how long my food will be and the person on the phone said I ordered at 8 and it’s only been 45 minutes and it 8:55 so not 45 minutes and he was really rude this is not the first time

Ordered a pizza delivery off their website! Paid with card online food took 90 mins to arrive and was burnt and cold! Rang them twice to see where said food was both times a rude man answered saying he didn't know where it was and that they were bizzy...shocking service will never be ordering again!

After waiting for well over 1 1/2 hours for the delivery I decided to call to chase up my order. I got greeted by a very rude woman who told me that my order would only be 5 minutes and that the driver was on his way. When I challenged her and said when I placed my order online it told me that it would be 60 minutes, her response was "Well you should have called to get a more realistic time for delivery" Sorry love but if you cannot keep to the 60 minutes delivery time frame don't advertise it on your website, there was not even a sorry this is not the first time that I have had to wait well over 60 minutes either. Not a very friendly takeaway, to say the least. When I unpacked the food it was burnt, cold and the order was wrong and incomplete not a very good experience here, if they cannot keep up with the demand they should not take so much on by accepting orders that they cannot fulfill and keep their customers happy, I used to have a takeaway from here most weeks and normally spend around £20.00 a week with them, well this is the last time I use them!! They don't deserve the custom!!

Don't usually eat pizza but came here because my grandchildren enjoy pizza. The pizza we had was excellent - well covered with a generous helping of topping,reasonable cost good base and free garlic bread which I wasnt expecting. We all had a great meal and it was so good I went back for another one last week, without the granddchildren and it took me ages to decide the rype as the menu is so varied. If you don't like pizza there is a multitude of other options on the menu.

The only place I Go for take out in Chaydle!!! Friendly staff and good quality take out food served with a smile!!!!

as a regular i expected more than nearly a 2 hour wait to recieve half an order which was cold . When i called and spoke to the manager he seem to take my complaint as a threat and became all gangster on me which was quite amusing i wont lie. I never got the other half of my order that i paid for on line and i have reported them to trading standards . Shame there is no way you can cancel payments when ordering food online they seem to have you over a barrel .

This is by far the best local takeaway that anybody could wish for. Food is always cooked to perfection and they also do delivery- which is very quick.. love this place

Food was 40 minutes late, when it finally arrived it was stone cold, curly fries was wet cold with condensation same as the garlic mushrooms. And for the pizza, well after one bite it went straight in the bin. Fed up of shocking service in cheadle, most of the takeaways are close to being shut down due to poor food hygiene. Babylon generally does well but constantly let down with poor quality, extremely slow delivery, COLD food. Good luck anyway

Honestly the pizza here is the best ever! Friendly service. Most of the time it comes in good time also.

Good gorgeous as ever but sadly most times we order there is things missing you ring them they say they will knock it off next time ... all very well but somebody would only get half of there tea this time or even nothing

Lovely staff, good food, well priced. What else is there to say really! The front of house areas behind the counter always look immaculate, which is rare in a kebab house. The best takeaway in cheadle for kebabs and pizzas by a mile!

Kebabs are very greasy sometimes and the coleslaw varies day by day. Last coleslaw was awful. It's usually ok though dependant on who makes it.

Friends just moved to Cheadle. We really enjoyed the food, will defo be using again.

Our food was freezing cold when we got it.. My chicken wasn't cooked.. And it took me 20 mins to try and get through on the phone to resolve the issue, by this time it was to late to have more food sent out

The restaurant added extra time to our delivery but delivered waaay earlier than expected so I wasn't in them actually asked where we were when they couldn't deliver???!!! Then we get chips instead of hot wings???? Hmmmmm..... bit of a difference.. Times need to be much more accurate. Please don't get bad as down town

Delivery time of 75 minutes is bad enough but the restaurant then added 25 minutes onto this, which is not brilliant considering I live about 5 minutes away. Ordenados en su sitio web y se bloqueó, así que obviamente no pasara. Así que nos fuimos a comer solo y orden en este orden de paso. 10 minutos antes de la comida llegó tuvimos una llamada diciendo que pedimos 2 del mismo orden, que estaban quejándose diciendo cómo malgastamos sus hamburguesas. Quizás utilice su sentido común y el anillo antes de cocinar (que son tanto los pedidos el mismo)? ME gritó por el teléfono y abusado.

Ordered a stuffed crust pizza, I'm presuming they attempted to stuff with cheddar?! Not mozzarella! There was only a small amount of cheese in some parts of the crust and some bits none at all. Very disappointing.

Superb quality food from here. Absolutely delicious. Just over an hours wait but well worth it. Will always order from here
