avoid this terrible place made an order for the family kids where very excited and we waited 1 hour and 30 mins befor i phoned up as was told estimated 60 mins delivery time and when they picked up they couldnt find my order which was strange as i had phoned up just after i ordered as i made a mistake and the bloke i spoke to said it was fine and there cracking on with it but that was a lie they havent even started so was abit gutted so i said i wanted a refund and then the bloke became very arrgagont and started telling me to calm down all i wanted was a refund and go somewhere else never ever again will i use this place so if you do fancy trying this place dont theres loads of place to go other then this place just avoid avoid avoid and told my friends and they wont be using you again

Ordered a meal for one which was supposed to be 1x tikka massala 1x rice 1x onion bhaji I also ordered chips and a naan When it arrived the rice and onion bhajis were missing. So all I had was chips, naan and a massala. Rang them up and was told they couldn’t deliver them to me and I was going to get a refund. I haven’t seen the refund!! (Imagine if they did this to everyone) Also the naan was soggy and tasted like honey had spilt in it ?? The massala was delicious but chips were undercooked. Also checked them on google and they are a 2 star hygiene rating. So I won’t be ordering again. Such a shame as the curry was so nice. But customer service is horrendous. 😭😭😭

I cannot explain just how bad this food was. It was delivered by Deliveroo and when I called Baburchi immediately after I unpacked it, explained why I was so dissatisfied and asked for a refund I received the most inappropriate, rude, unhelpful and totally unsympathetic response (seems to be a common theme among reviews). I was several times referred to as 'darling' on the phone in the most patronising manner, told I don't know what good food is and that they have plenty of satified customers, so basically I can 'shove it'. Told to contact Deliveroo for a refund if I wasn't happy - this is how they deal with complaints. Deliveroo don't want to know and I have been left £55 out of pocket for food I could not eat. I cannot express just how incensed I am not only at the poor quality of food but also the way I was spoken to. I can't for the life of me understand how people can think their food is even nice. The food was luke warm on delivery, re-cooked (probably from the previous night's servings) and can only be described as watery, tasteless slop. Absolutely disgusting! And the way they have so rudely replied to other dissatisfied customers on here is simply testament to their disgraceful treatment of customers. The food was ordered for me by a family member. Had I checked out the reviews on this page beforehand, I would have saved myself £55 and the anger I feel towards this apalling food outlet.

Gave feedback via Uber eatfor a takeaway order, delivery was so long the Massala was full of condensation and tepid along with wet poppadoms and soggy naan. This is the restaurants reply: Baburchi: Thank you for your feedback But that review is purely false statement. How can a Massala be soggy ? We deliver our food the fastest in Tamworth straight after cooking. All food are well packed and delivered with care. So stop trying to get refund without even thinking about how it affects a business. Please order from else where next time. We do not appreciate scambags like you.

Ordered delivery on line after local pub had let us down having no food. We ordered 7 meals with popadoms and sides to our campsite. Driver apologised on arrival saying he got lost however all the food was piping hot and absolute delicious. Next time we visit we won’t even attempt the pub, can’t wait to return

i ordered from this restaurant on saturday 2/4/22 and never recieved my meal although they had taken payment when contacted they said i had to get in touch with bookyup they did not offer to rectify this at all its now 6/4/22 and still no refund of £34 25p this was a family meal we ordered to eat with my son and only my sons was delivered ruined the evening so i suggest people to take heed of this experience that i have had for future referance i will get my money back even if i have to go down other routes but it wont look good regarding this restaurant
