Aviator Hotel Hampshire in Rushmoor

Food was good but service was probably better, I had a sirloin steak which was quite good but expected better for the price, nice atmosphere in the restaurant, bar upstairs was full so couldn't get in, seemingly you need to book in advance.

Very nice hotel, rooms well appointed and multiple quality dining options. At times under staffed for amount of customers.

Had afternoon tea and service as usual was excellent and the food was as well, nice touch at tgebenc gof our anniversary

We had Afternoon tea at the Aviator Hotel. The food was wonderful and the hotel very stylish. Our waitress tempted us to try several teas, which was different. A lovely experience.

I come here every year and is the best hotel I have ever been in in terms of luxury & service. It has the luxury and standards in my opinion of a 5 star hotel and not as expensive as you'd think. It also has a 9+ rating on some of the online hotel websites Theres not a great deal around the area but if you want a relaxing luxury stay and quality service at an affordable price it cannot be equalled. I recommend paying a bit extra for the view of the airfield.

Have used SPA services in the hotel and been extremely disappointed with it, as this is a 4 star place. My boyfriend booked a massage for me as a gift. We have arrived to the top floor and there was no indications where to wait for the treatment. Then therapist approached, introduced herself and asked if I have completed the form while I was waiting, yet nobody have provided me with the form to compete. I was taken to the room to get ready and my therapist left to get a blank form for me to complete. Massage session started and since that young lady was very petite she could not apply any pressure. She was a polite nice girl, however massage was really bad, since she has small and bony hands. The worst bit was when in the middle of the massage phone in the room starts ringing. She stopped mid way of massaging my leg, answered the phone and informed that she is in the middle of the session. She have apologised about it, but my whole experience was already ruined. That form I was supposed to fill in before treatment was never provided to me and ironic part is that I have had booked Stress relief massage. After the session when I left the room again was no indications which way to go to leave, nobody met me outside to ask about the experience and we have waited for the feedback request from the hotel SPA as I wanted to give private feedback (usually you get an email checking on your experience) , but nobody send anything, so sharing it here. I am not a fan of complaining, but experience was really bad, I have worked as a massage therapist myself previously and have massages few times a year, this was the worst one.

Great find this place. Service and ambience is first class. Great that you can overlook the airfield. Nearby if you have a car or contact the A1 taxis, there are plenty of outdoor spaces for a walk and the Basingstoke canal i can highly recommend

The Aviator never disappoints from the moment you check in to the moment you reluctantly check out, the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is very stylish and spotlessly clean. The restaurant and bar are top notch. The food is incredibly good, I highly recommend the tasting menu with pairing wines. Also the treatments are a great way to unwind. The beds are super comfy for a great nights sleep, staying at the Aviator is great way to treat yourself every now and then.

From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you check out, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are first class, the food and wine selections are amazing. Everything about this hotel is pure quality.

We have recently returned from a one nights stay in an air side suite to celebrate our anniversary. The room was lovely, albeit the pillows were not that comfy. The dinner was very enjoyable and we couldn’t fault the service. The breakfast was ok and with it being a buffet/help yourself situation, you can’t avoid having some lukewarm portions. Similarly to dinner, we couldn’t fault the service.

My girlfriend and I went for dinner to celebrate her birthday. The food was amazing and the service even better. We were both very grateful for the happy birthday plate. Would recommend to everyone and will go back again.

Very comfortable, very friendly staff. Made my business trip much more pleasant than it has been staying at other hotels in the area. Staff were very helpful. Room was excellent. Food and beverage options are expensive but there's good alternative food options available in the area.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at The Aviator, everything about it was perfect. Our relations bought us a voucher to stay here as we'd had quite a stressful time and they said we could unwind here. Everything is so well thought of , even the car parking was perfectly laid out. The building itself is an amazing design but 100% functional. The food and drink was lovely but what makes this hotel exceptional is the staff, very warm, caring, polite and nothing too much for them.

Only down side was the creaky bed. Reception was welcoming and friendly. Josh from room service was quick with the ice. Ginerva was very helpful in the restaurant. Loved the fact they could do pretty much all the menu GF

Perfect placement for the conference center.

Our suite was perfectly fine, clean, spacious enough, and convenient to the expo. The staff, however, were absolutely faultless throughout the 7 days - nothing was too much trouble and they were all 100% professional and courteous.

My mum and I went for afternoon tea today, and was blown away. Highly recommend! The food was amazing, and such lovely grounds to enjoy in! Loved it.

Best hotel in the area hands down, great views if you can get airport side facing. Nice ambiance and breakfast is outstanding. Always nice to stay here.
