Best thai takeaway we've ever had, every time we go for takeaway, we end up choosing here, and lucky enough to be just around the corner from us. Highly recommend to anyone in Sheffield or the local area.

For years we've often driven into the city to collect a decent Thai takeaway, until we discovered AuthenThai. Beautiful quality food. Great service. Good prices.

I'm disappointed on my delivery order tonight as I normally love this place so I don't know what happened tonight. Nearly £30 order on 3 things, it was Luke warm the chips dry and double dipped, the chicken was very chewy.

Lovely food, staff and atmosphere. You cannot go wrong with the Pad Thai or any of the curries. They are very flavoursome and warming. I look forward to trying lots of other items on the menu in the future. 5⭐️

Ordered our meal at 6pm and at 8pm got a call to say the order is ready but we cannot deliver it as we have no driver. Very disappointed as we had been working all day and looked forward to a takeaway. If you can’t support a delivery service then don’t offer it!!! It’s such a shame as the food is excellent but the service is very poor. We will not be going again.

Our order was placed at 18.30 for delivery at 19.30, we was called at 19.50 to say the order would be much later due to only having one driver could give a time for the delivery and told us to come and pick it up ourselves. Very poor customer service. Will not be ordering again from here.

Best Thai curry you will get anywhere in Sheffield in my opinion, great flavour, big portions and really great service. Have been here 20+ times and always perfect.

First visit to AuthenThai. We really like Thai food but we also like Chinese. This food was good and tasty, Massmam Curry (Chicken), Pork Belly Stir Fry, Jasmine Rice and Thai Prawn Cakes. Unfortunately it's 13 minutes away from us and by the time I got back home it had cooled a little and certainly needed a quick blast from the microwave. It's in competition with our local Chinese which is half the distance (3 miles compared with 6 to the Thai). The meal was expensive. I'm not sure why Crispy Pork Belly cost £11.80 other than it's in vogue at the moment. Total cost for the meal was £29.80 which I think is pricey and means we probably wont go back. Our local Chinese would serve a slightly better meal for £18.

We travelled around 30miles round trip to try the food here and we were not disappointed! The service was perfect, the food was fresh and tasted amazing and the experience was awesome. My daughter loved the restaurant and the 🛺 tuk tuk on the roof. Worth the wait and the trip. We will definitely be going back.

First and definitely last time I will ever order here again had the tom yum soup and tom kha. No flavour no heat the tom kha especially was awful, basically prawns and veg in cream. Was very disappointed and feel like I wasted money as food just got thrown away. 😕

Best takeaway in the area. Beautiful fresh cooked food. Loads of different dishes to try. The spicy chicken wings are a must along with the belly pork special rice. Great service too, never waiting long for a collection.

The best Thai food for mikes around! So fresh and just like been in Thailand 😍😋🍵 the prawn Tom yum is to die for 🍤🦐 and the pad krakow 👌 the staff are so friendly and helpful.. you can sit outside to dine if you like

The best takeaway I’ve ever had hands down! Over the moon that you are so close to me, it could be a problem! The sticky ribs were exceptional and pad Thai absolutely delicious.

We have ordered from authenthai on numerous occasions and have never had an issue but tonight was really bad. We asked for mild chicken drunken noodles which we have always asked for previously as well but tonight noodles were really hot so much that we couldn’t eat them. We rang and explained the problem and was told that if we wanted some more we would have to wait a very long time for someone to bring us some more. I feel this was unacceptable as a customer that has made a complaint I would think it would be a priority. In the end we agreed to having a full refund as offered by the lady on the phone, but when I went to collect they only offered me a small amount at first as I hadn’t brought the food back. I wasn’t told to take the food back and told them they could come and collect it later as it hasn’t been eaten and eventually got the full money back. However when I left the lady that did the refund said I hope you enjoy your food to kind of make out that I was scamming them. Really bad customer service

Food is fresh ,tastes lovely but not value for money ! I was very disappointed at how little meat ,prawns ,chicken and vegetables we got in our noodle dishes .I won't be returning unfortunately as at nearly £30 ,this was a lot to spend on noodles !

Had a few different takeaways from here and always good food and very efficient and polite staff.

Favourite of ours never disappoints. Husband eating crispy sea bass with mango chilli onion mint dressing. Side crispy salad and jasmine steamed rice. I look my noodle shop and sum tam papaya salad.

Oh my god! Where do I start! I've never had Thai food before and this was absolutely to die for! Tried things that I never thought I'd try and I've got to say I was not disappointed. We had the catfish for one of the dishes and it is absolutely incredible. The flavours are insane. You can tell everything is fresh produce and not like your usual greasy takeaway. The pad Thai was of course a great dish and the Thai prawn crackers were mint. From collecting and getting it home the food was still hot and delicious. I'm more of a Chinese lover myself but definitely converted to Thai food after this meal. 10/10 .

I've been coming to AuthenThai for a while now and think it's the best Thai food I've had outside Thailand itself. So fresh and tasty!

The best Thai food! I regularly eat Thai food and can honestly say AuthenThai is the best Thai food I've had! All dishes are so freshly made with a great selection of tasty vegetables included in all dishes. You can tell the dishes are free from artificial colours and dishes feel so fresh and healthy. So lucky to live near this amazing Thai takeaway!

Worst Thai meal we've had!! Was told would be 45 minutes to pick up our take away, ended up being an hour and the food was awful. We had the Thai hot box, the noodles were congealed in a plastic tub, as if they had not been made fresh, like they had been warmed up in a microwave and didn't taste of anything. was barely warm. The chips were hard and chewy like they'd also been warmed up in microwave, again didn't taste freshly cooked. Will not get our custom again!! Very disappointed to get warmed up food after waiting an hour for it. 6 people in kitchen aswell - don't know what they are all doing! Very poor!

Our guests loved it so much that they asked us to order it again the following day 😂 This time we ordered: *Pad Thai with chicken *Pad Thai with beef *Thai Soup (Tom Yum) with Prawns 🌶️🌶️ *Mix Khao Pad *Mix Pad Krapow Kruk 🌶️🌶️ 🥦 Their Pad Thai is our favourite in Sheffield so far. 🌶️ You can see the spices level on the menu which we find very helpful! Their food always tastes super fresh 😋 😁Generous portions, fair prices and very well packed. Their takeaway containers can easily be reused. 🪑 Indoor and outdoor seating available 😍 Staff is always so lovely and remembers our preferences ❤️

I had Ginger chilli chicken, salt pepper chips and satay skewers. Go read their menu, order and enjoy. So happy I found this place, delicious 😋

Easily the best thai takeaway I've had and as good a quality as any restaurant I've visited. Very authentic in flavours (had the chicken panang , yellow curry pork stir fry and papaya salad). First time try last night and will definitely be back. EXCELLENT!

First time visit, and I'm impressed. I called in for a late take away on my way home. The food was excellent - a stir fry with crispy pork belly and Jasmin rice. It was a generous portion, and fairly priced. They have seating in, and outside.

Looking at the reviews, don't know if we just turned up on the wrong day, or got the wrong chef. My wife is Thai, I have visited Thailand many times, and eaten Thai food in both Thailand in the UK. This was by far the most bland Thai food I have ever eaten. My wife was adding things to her meal to try to add flavour. I had ka prow Gai and it didn't taste of anything, it was watery and tasteless. I have eaten some of the best thai street food I have ever had somewhere else in Sheffield (not appropriate to say where on here) but sorry won't be eating here again.

Absolutely delicious 🤤 Tasty, refreshing, I’m salivating just thinking about it. My Husband and I ordered last week and it was one of the best takeouts we’ve EVER eaten. So much so that we’ve craved it ever since 😩😂 The staff were lovely when we collected our order, we had a question about a particular ingredient and the staff were so helpful and friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The place itself is very clean and tidy. Super impressed! Defo our new favourite takeaway.

Being meaning to try Authen Thai as I have driven past many a time. Well tonight was the time we ordered and sat outside waiting for it to be brought out to us. It did not disappoint quick efficient service piping hot food fantastic taste. Needless to say we will be back.

Went 24/6/21 for the first time for lunch and was not disappointed! £5 deal was perfect and very good value. Sat outside and ate so food was piping hot. Had an AuthenThai HotBox and it was beautiful, you could taste all the flavours and freshness. You could tell a lot of effort had gone into the food. I can't wait till next time, 10/10!

Great auethetic thai food, I had the red curry which was very nice. A family member had the vegetable oyster beef which was a bit dry nothing major.

Ordered a meal last week which was really delicious. Everything had it's own individual flavour. We decided to collect and it was still hot and fresh by the time it was served. Portions were good giving really good value for money. Can highly recommend food from this outlet 👍.

£30 for 3 meals which was fine. Red prawn curry , ok VERY watery.... Chicken oyster sauce and vegetable stir fry, ok.... Very Watery!!!! Salt and pepper chips.... not much taste Mus? Curry with chicken...ok, again just watery... Lovely spring onion & Garlic Rice. Pop Ordered the food at 4:15pm Collected at 4:45 as it said on the website. Not one person in the place wearing a face mask.... about 8 people working there. All the food was Cold... had to rewarm everything up when I got home(4 mins drive away) . Overall was tasty but cold... All the meals like water...

We had 2 of the £5 meal deals. First impressions were that the portions were small but the boxes are deceiving! There was plenty in there and the noodle dishes we had were delicious. Food was very hot and cooked fresh. Will definitely be going back.

I've had the lunch deal noodles and rice a few times now and they are both excellent. Loads of flavour and really filling, can't wait to try an evening meal!

We had to wait over 2 hours for the food was told to collect at 9pm and got the food at 10pm (an hour after we were told to collect waiting in the cold). The order was wrong dishes missing and food wasn’t good. Will not be using again. £33 not worth it.

Can only speak from personal experience, but this was the best Thai takeway I've had. Freshly made, full of flavour and generous portions. Price is slightly high (£30 for 2 mains and 2 starters), but I can forgive that given the quality of the food. Highly recommended.
