Aubergine in Wandsworth

This was by far one of the best pizzas I've had in London, maybe ever! I drove down from Croydon after being shown the great reviews. Really lovely tomato sauce, great blend of herbs and amazing cheese. I ordered the Buffalina, and highly recommend it! Owing to lockdown it was a takeaway, and put it back in oven when I got home and it was just divine! Will be going back soon. 🤤

Esta ha sido nuestra opción para la pizza durante todo el cierre. La pizza es absolutamente deliciosa, cargada de aderezos y de alguna manera siempre llega caliente.

Este lugar es absolutamente genial. He pedido pizzas de aquí varias veces y siempre son deliciosas: excelentes sabores, coberturas generosas e ingredientes brillantes. No podría recomendar la comida lo suficiente. Honestamente, primero ordené desde aquí por accidente, ya que Franco Manca estaba cerrado, pero no soñaría con comprar una pizza para llevar en ningún otro lugar ahora.

Pizza increíble! Mucho mejor que Franco Mancas. Teníamos la salchicha y la berenjena, ¡ambas deliciosas gracias!

Ordered takeaway pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Easily one of the best pizza places in the area and their Diavola is one of the best I've had in months. Fresh and full of flavour - highly recommend!

I've now sampled the delights of aubergine twice. Once in the restaurant and tonight a takeaway order via deliveroo. All I can say is wow. The food is incredibly tasty. When in the restaurant the service was incredibly friendly. Also really reasonably priced especially for the quality of food. Truly authentic italian cuisine.

The restaurant was lovely, service was great and the waiter was super attentive. There was great music too and the chef made the effort to say hello and ask us how we were which is quite rare! Good prices and would definitely recommend for a romantic meal or just for great food with friends.

Highly recommended! Delicious pizza with crispy crust, olives for appetizer chilli infused olive oil on every table, good wine and very welcoming service.

This has to be the most delicious prawn pasta dish I've ever eaten. Loaded with shavings of parmisan & packed with amazing flavour! Warm engaging, friendly staff & good wine, we'll most definitely be going back

Had a celebratory birthday lunch for my son & it was terrific. A lovely start was provided by our table being given a plate of focaccia with truffle oil. I began with a parmigiana - aubergines baked in cheese and tomato sauce. My main was gnocci with shredded duck; my wife had a delicious artichoke pizza. I hadn't said in advance that we were celebrating a birthday but the waiter must've overheard us as he presented my son with a plate of cannoli with a candle in it! So what's the mystery? It's this: how can we have been the only diners on a Sunday lunchtime somewhere this good ? A puzzle indeed....

We were a group of five, with one vegan. The service was exceptional - friendly, efficient and well-informed. The pizzas were perfect, with the best sourdough base I've eaten in London. The vegan in the group was able to substitute vegan mozzarella on any pizza, which opened a variety of options. The pasta was perfectly cooked. The wine list was all Italian, with a breadth of reasonably-priced options for every taste. We will be returning again and again.

Went as a family group of four on a Sunday evening and greatly enjoyed our meal and the friendly atmosphere. The portions were generous, well cooked and presented promptly by responsive and courteous staff. The pace of each aspect of the meal was relaxed and entirely comfortable. We look forward to returning when we are next in the locality.
