I booked a table here to take my 92 year old Aunt to for dinner. We were met by a delightfully charming young man who offered us a choice of table and even allowed us to sit on a larger than necessary table but which was more comfortable for my aunt. The atmosphere is warm, cosy and friendly and the food was delicious with a very good choice on the menu. It was nice to be able to see into the kitchen and know that everything was freshly prepared. There is also no problem at all bringing alcohol in and no corkage fee. I shall definitely return next time I visit my Aunt or am in the area.

I had reserved a table at Atlas for Friday night and got the confirmation that all is well. When we got there, the host immediately asked if I had a reservation and seated us. No more than 5 minutes later, he said there was a mistake in the booking system and asked us to leave since it was full. No consideration at all that we had a hungry child with us and he started arguing that it was the agency - Quando’s mistake and didn’t even offer apologies. Not going back there again which is a shame since the food was wonderful the last time we visited.

Fantastic food and plenty to choose from on the menu. I am definitely going back here. We took our own beer and wine and they kindly kept it chilled for us. We were surprised to see it so quiet - it’s a lovely small restaurant with pretty lighting. I would say it’s great for families, friends or couples. Sea bass with Moroccan spices was delicious and my daughter enjoyed her vegetable and halloumi tagine very much.

My husband and I love visiting Atlas in Petts Wood. The food is absolutely incredible and definitely one of the best in Petts Wood. Last night we had three courses and each one was incredible. A special mention for the Lobster and King Prawn Linguine, which is the best I have ever eaten. It does not have an alcohol licence but with One Inn the Wood just two doors away, my husband is always sorted with a takeaway beer from there and I take along whatever I fancy that evening. Spread the word about this restaurant as it is a hidden gem in the heart of Petts Wood and we will be going back very soon!

Popped in here as our other place was shut. I've walked past this place so many times; wasn't sure about Moroccan food! But oh it was so delicicious. 😋 . My daughter had adana kotfe with rice and salad. I had 2 starters, spinach borek and mozzarella sticks which we shared. A basket of bread as well. Everything was excellent and my daughter loved the rice. Will visit again.

Pros - Nice ambience. - As we were the only family, they accepted our request to change the songs playing. - I had got my own cake for my Uncle as he doesn't eat sugar. they decorated the cake well. and got it with candles. CONs - We went here to celebrate on a Monday, I am a vegetarian , and Indian. We ordered Paneer Shashlik, and Gujrati Veg biryani for dinner. The food was horrible. It has no flavours , no salt. I assumed it would be a marinated Paneer. They served us 3 thin slices of paneer, with one piece of tomato, pepper and onion. Nothing was marinated. It was just grilled with oil. Then Biryani was another disaster. It was the worst Biryani I have ever had. It had no flavour, just salt, though they said it was medium spicy. They had put big big pieces of Ginger, unfortunately first 3 bytes I had the 3 pieces. We literally went hungry home. Chips we ordered for my daughter was the only good dish. Some family members ordered non veg food, it was equally horrible. No taste at all. If you are an Indian, avoid this place. You will be disappointed as its all catered for British taste. and it has no flavours.

Such a wonderful dining evening we had ! The food was so excellent, fresh and good sizes. We had a perfect half Lobster with delicious sauce and huge yummy Dover Soles with garlic butter, was so surprising good. And don’t forget the King Prawns as main course. Everything for reasonable prices. We loved it especially because we had Tam as a waiter. He was so charming and recommend the best for us. Thanks for that awesome Dinner !
