Very comfortable to sit outside in the sun with a cake and a glass of Iranian tea. Great area, friendly service, can only recommend!

Visited this place 27.08.2023 and cannot recommend it to anyone. The two Iranian women who served us, didn’t appear to be appreciative of our custom and looked rather annoyed and sounded rude while talking to us, customer service is very poor. Avoid! £3 for a tiny cup of coffee, rip off! Caffè Nero will give you a “bucket” for that price!

If you’re looking for good, tasty, fresh Middle Eastern cakes then this is without doubt the place to be. Huge selection available and all so good.

You may found lots of Iranian (Persian) stuff from Iran with delicious Persian patisserie which cooked in the place. The lady owner told me they employed an Iranian patisserie cook. It seems to me their products are not as fresh as suppose to be.

You would find a variety of Persian products ( tea, nuts .. and much more) , it is worthy to visit and have a nice tea bot with sweets .

I love this cafe. It’s a little piece of Iran in the middle of London. Their sweets are always fresh and all are made there at the shop. The ladies who serve me are a perfect representation of the beauty, strength and grace of an Iranian woman. Everything I’ve tried from this place tastes heavenly and their tea smells so amazing that you simply get transported places when you close your eyes and take a deep breath smelling it. Go, and experience Persia in London!

Without doubt the very best Iranian sweets and pastries in London. The staff are helpful and generous. Nothing is too much trouble and you are invited to try anything. I bought a selection of freshly baked biscuits and honey soaked sweets. My favourite are the 'bamieh' which when translated literally means bean! These are a light flour based sweet, soaked in honey and subtly fried to perfection. Assal is more a patisserie take away and has a couple of small tables outside where you can enjoy your treats over a tea or coffee. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit. The place to come for Iranian pistachios, berries and the like. The petit fours are flavoured with cardamom, rose and orange blossom syrup and are seriously addictive-especially when freshly baked (on the premises). The universally loved smell of freshly baked bread (Iranian bread made with milk and sweetened slightly) is not to be missed. And all usually served by the very gracious owner.

Takeaway with a few tables. Mains are 10 with or without rice (less curry if getting rice). Dal (thick chana/chickpeas) was 7. Steamed basmati was 3.5 and PERFECTLY cooked. Nan homemade but not in a tandoor so lower temp meant a little stodgy. Tasty food (tikka masala / lamb and aubergines / dal / nan / rice /no drinks (a no for tap water)).

A hidden gem away just moments away from the busy streets of London, I visited this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion and it was perfect! The food is delicious and service is wonderful.
